Skills: Engineering - Tesla is a remarkable genius at building things. She can build almost anything. If left in a room with a light bulb and a string, she might come out with a blowtorch. She can usually tell how a machine is put together just by looking at it. She once turned a toaster into a bomb. Truly impressive.

Hacker - As a programmer herself, hacking comes very naturally to her.

Knowledge of the Universe - Though she is young, Tesla has seen a lot. She's been to many different worlds and knows a lot about them. Even alien technology and language comes like second nature to her, though some alien tongues she's completely unable to speak. She understands a lot of them, though.

Photographic Memory - Just seeing something once is enough for Tesla. She will always be able to remember it as if she was living it again.

Weaknesses: Human - She's a squishy flesh sac. With all of it's weaknesses.

Equipment: On her person, there's a pocket sized plasma cutter stashed in her boot, cased in a lead container that takes a special combination of taps to open. She has an advanced swiss army knife in her pocket, complete with two screwdrivers, a bottle opener, and a corkscrew. The zippers on her pockets also work as screwdrivers. Just in case, she also has a knife stored in her other boot. Better to be prepared.




Personality: While building, Tesla is usually very hard to distract. She gets extremely absorbed in what she does, and usually spends a lot of time deep in thought about it. She can often be caught zoning out. When she talks about something she's interested in, however, she rambles. A lot. When she opens up, she usually talks a lot.

History: Tesla was born into a very rich family, filled with scientists and engineers. Her father was on the verge of inventing a groundbreaking new battery that powered itself. Clean, unlimited energy. However, a lot of people stood to lose a lot of money with the invention.

Tesla was only a few months old when the attack on her family's estate happened. Reportedly, there were no survivors, but what honestly happened was her grandfather, Richard Delacroix, used the prototype battery that her father made to power a prototype of his own. A space ship. On that night, many people witnessed what would be called by the news a shooting star but it was actually the launch of the most sophisticated spacecraft ever built by mankind.

Surviving in space with limited supplies and a whining baby was incredibly hard, but Richard was perhaps the most talented person to come from the Delacroix family. The man was resourceful and brilliant, bartering his way through the universe with guile.

This is how Tesla was raised, until she was 14. Then Richard decided that he'd gotten old. He took them back to Earth, not thinking that Tesla was ready to survive on her own in space, despite the fact that she'd made many contacts and learned to fly the ship by herself. She disagreed, and in order to ensure she couldn't take off on her own Richard took apart the ship.

Tesla was now grudgingly trapped on Earth, with a bunch of prototype robots she'd designed.
