Final Fantasy X: A new world(Main thread)

Shiroto listened to Erik's proposition, his interest piqued. The intentions of the ravenette now clear, Shiroto decided it would be interesting to see what exactly the mysterious individual was after at the end of the Cloister of Trials. Following him into the small room and watching what he was doing, Shiroto guessed that he knew his way around the place, almost as if he had been to one of these places before. At Erik's question, Shiroto nodded, "Sure, sounds exciting. I followed you down here anyways. No point in turning back now, right?" He glanced back at the elevator for a moment. "They'll catch up, I'm sure. You can trust them though, I know them."

Shiroto agreed to follow his instructions, and even warned him about the others catching up. As they walked down the stairs, however, the wall section that allowed them in would close, sealing them off from the others.

"You say I can trust them, but the fact is that would be trusting way too many. To be honest, you're only here because you followed me."

As they reached the bottom of the stairs, there would be a turn to the left down more stairs, but an alcove on the wall. It was as of yet empty, with three glowing sigils on the wall above it. Erik walked forward, motioning Shiroto forward with him.

One of the sigils was the all but familiar glyph they had seen in the previous room. The second, above it, was a symbol in blue. It was a specific symbol for Besaid. The final symbol was a hollowed out square, reminiscent of the purple glow they had encountered. Erik pointed at each of them in that order as he instructed Shiroto.

"Glyph spheres open up the way to the Chamber of the Fayth. We're going there. Regional spheres- here it will be a Besaid sphere- are always involved. And destruction spheres reveal secrets, if you use them right." He touched the recess in the wall and a glyph sphere formed. "Here. Your first glyph sphere. I'll take the reigns on this trial to show you how it's done so we can do these twice as fast from now on."

He moved on down the next flight of stairs, waiting for Shiroto to take the sphere and follow him.

Raku looks at his adopted sister, scratching the side of his head with the taloned hand."Aw, c'mon, sis.....let me go! I'm not totally incompentant!" Akari raises a eyebrow."Oh really? What about those bandages?" Raku blinks, grinning sheepishly."er.....hehehehe.....I took him out, didn't I? C'mon,le's go after them!" Just then, the wall closes down, blocking their way."Awwwwww....."

Arinthia would step into the elevator once it returned and just waited for the others as she folded her arms and leaned back against the inside of it "c'mon guys, you coming or not?" she said in a more curious tone than a demanding one.

"Okay." Shiroto nodded, taking the Glyph sphere and following Erik into the next room. "You said those destruction spheres reveal secrets when used correctly... but what happens if they aren't used correctly?" he paused a moment, wondering if the answer was in the name. "Whoa, they don't blow up, do they?"

Erik found himself chuckling at Shiroto's next question about the destruction spheres.

"Only when you want them to," he joked, soon producing another chuckle. "All jokes aside, no. The worst they can do is make us start over. And considering I happen speak Al Bhed randomly, we don't want that."

They were met with a door at the bottom of the stairs. It was sealed shut by a magical force, and there was a recession in the middle of it for a sphere. Erik motioned to it, indicating Shiroto should use the sphere. When he did, the door opened.

"Great. Take the sphere out; the door doesn't need it anymore."

He continued on as he waited for Shiroto to retrieve it, as the door had opened to a hall going left. It turned right, and Erik looked as there was a recession on the left wall. When Shiroto caught up, he pointed to it. Barring any questions asked by Shiroto, it would pull the section of the wall up to reveal a secret room with a destruction sphere. Erik took hold of it and walked out, taking a right after going left into the next hallway, where there was another set of glowing symbols on the wall.

"Touch those for me, will you?"

Raku nods, grinning at Arin."Sure!!" he turns around as his foster sister lets go, and they walk into the elevator. As it rises back to the top, the fused hums a funny sounding song, clicking together his talons as a chorus. Akari rolls her eyes, sighing."Raku, stop that." He pauses, grinning, then resumes, boosting up the annoying factor. She sighs, then wraps her arm around him, drawing the young fused in and muffling the song. Raku blinks, then tries to get out, giving up when he fails."Yeild! Dad improved the armor, didn't he?!" Akari lets out a chuckle, then looks at Arin, smiling."Please don't think me a brutal older sibling. this knucklehead's stronger than most, and it's really just play to him. Now, I don't think I caught your name?"

Shiroto used the sphere for the door and took it out when the door opened. He followed Erik down the hallway and into the room where the destruction sphere was located. He then followed him down the next hallway to the set of glowing symbols. When Erik asked Shiroto to touch the symbols, he nodded quickly and walked up to them, poking each one. "So what's next?" he asked as he activated them.

As Shiroto touched the wall, that section of the wall would move up as well, revealing a chamber with a spider web-like design of lines adorning the walls, all glowing blue rhythmically. At the center of the far wall was a blue sphere. Erik walked with Shiroto down.

"Since you lost your sphere to that wall earlier, you can get the Besaid Sphere. Then go right across from us and put it in the pedestal in the wall." He waited for Shiroto to take the Besaid Sphere and walk back up the stairs, as he put the Destruction Sphere in instead. One of the cracks lit up with a malevolent purple, and Shiroto soon heard an explosion from the adjacent hallway. Erik walked up the steps, whistling, before going into that hallway.

As soon as Shiroto placed the Besaid Sphere in the pedestal, the wall would simply disappear, revealing a hallway. Meanwhile Erik went down the other hallway to an exposed section of wall from an explosion. He went inside and opened a chest, retrieving a simple rod, and walking back to Shiroto.

"Push that pedestal to the proper place and we're done here, Shiroto."

The elevator gets to the top, and the three step out as Akira let's go of her adoptive sibling.Grumbling goodnaturely, the Fused looks around, wondering what to do till the other two get back to the surface.Suddenly, a voice speaks up."You kids!!" The priest enables over, looking grumpy." Are those two still down there?"
