Snowboarding Training (solo)

Jenny put her hair in pig tails grabbing her newly bought snowboard as she walked out of her room wearing all of her newly bought snowboarding gear. After trying out snowboarding before it left her feeling really excited. She sucked at it but she sucked at hacking once too and well hey she wanted to try to practice it as much as she could when she had free time now while there was still snow on the ground and she was still close by just in cause %#!@ went down.

Jenny's Snowboarding Gear:

Jenny left the base and walked over onto the sand putting her snow board down on the ground and stretched a bit. She smiled onward to the sky, it was cloudy enough to keep the snow safe from the suns heat but not too cloudy to see the bright blue sky behind the clouds. She then looked back down to her snowboard and climbed on it and straping herself onto it. She then pulled her goggles down and started to fly into the air heading to the massive hill right outside of the city.

Once she got there she slowly lowered herself onto the snow that was slightly frosty and wobbled a bit causing the board to shift a bit as well. She then sighed but smiled looking down the hill leaning forward it was a pretty high hill and probably one of the best places to start right now for a beginner like Jenny since it was all clear on the way down besides a few large rocks. Though Jenny soon realized she leaned too far forward and caused herself to fall forward and flop down the hill in a comedic fashion turning into a large snow ball.

She wiggled inside the ball until it loosened itself and she rocked it back and forth making large pieces collapse and fall off her. She then sat up shaking her head making the snow fall out as she giggled with a smile. She then slowly got back up to her feet re balancing herself as she flew back up to the top once again. She then readied herself and made herself start to slide down the hill though when she started to near a large rock her eyes widened.

She then tried to quickly lean to her left trying to make herself go around it but all that caused her to do was face plant the snow and flop down a bit before she managed to dig the board more into the snow to slow herself as she spread out her arms down the same. She slowly came to a stop as she once again was buried in snow though unlike most she wasn't frustrated at all. She actually found this not only fun but funny too, but being alone out there certainly helped her not get embarrassed.

She sighed though and flew back up to the top and continued this for about the next few hours, she laid in the snow at the bottom having finally gotten basic movements down and balancing and the common senses of snowboarding down too she decided maybe that was enough for today since she didn't want to be too stiff from being sore for her next mission that was bound to come soon but all she could think was. 'God I feel more sore than that first night with Jak...' She then slowly got up and started to fly back to the base.

Jenny slowly floated down onto the ground the wind picking up and snow blowing harder. 'Wow such a wonderful day to continue practicing...' She thought before sighing 'Well at least I finally have time to practice again at least....' She slapped her cheeks 'Focus Jenny! This snow won't last forever!' Jenny then nodded to herself as she went down the hill trying to curve around every rock she could find to practice her turning and continued to do so for about an hour until she felt she had quick turns down.

She then floated back up to the top of the hill and held her cheeks for a bit. 'Damn its cold... so much different from Texas for sure...' She sighed looking up to the sky 'I hadn't seen snow till i came here and man I can still remember the realization that snow and cold winds hitting your bare skin hurt a lot after a few minutes.' she then blinked 'Whoa I can't believe I'm just now realizing this. This is my second year in Jump... wow its still weird knowing that I've stayed in one city for longer than a month.'

She smiled a bit and chuckled 'Guess that's just another reason to  make sure no one destroys this city.... it is my home now after all.' She then got back up and stretched. 'whelp back to work now I guess.' She got ready to go down 'Time to work on my jumping skills.' She thought as she went down the hill trying to jump many times but every time for about an hour she just lost balance or slipped or even crashed into a rock but after about two hours she managed to master the skill of simple jumps.

She laid face down in the snow 'I think I have another hour or two to spare.... but I'm getting so cold my joints are locking up again...' She slowly sat up 'Okay... it's a good time to stop now for today I guess' she unstrapped herself. 'The next time I practice I can work on my flips i guess.' She grabbed the board with one hand as she got up to her feet. 'Time for some Hot chocolate.' she paused mid step 'oh %#!@! I should also go Christmas shopping for everyone while I'm out. Hmmm Time to think of dumb and funny gifts for everyone.' She thought with a smile as she left the area.
