first day of training(pika)

Bloodmoon walked out of his hut and began to head toward the mouth of his cave to wait for his new apprentice dagger to show up though it would be several minutes till then bloodmoon sat on a boulder and waited in a meditative stance.

It was a nice dream, at least, Alex Greggory thought it was, he didn't get to finish it however because of his new and ridiculously early wake-up time, he groaned and rose from his bed, walked to the kitchen, got some breakfast, then he changed into his hero outfit and started to go to Bloodmoons cave. But he would be a few minutes late before he finally arrived Hey!

Bloodmoon eye's shot open and glared at Alex before saying, "Your late." Bloodmoon then lept down from the boulder he sat on and said, "Follow me." He then made his way back into the cave and started down the path the stone statues of the gods and goddesses where on till he got to the waterfall where the path lead behind it to a well lit training area around in a circle there where wooden targets set up for target practice.

Dagger laughed nervously at the glare Sorry about that Shawn didn't seem to mind too much though as he told Dagger to follow him, Dagger followed closely behind, when he arrived in the training area, he looked around him, it was pretty cool Nice, so how are we starting?

Bloodmoon gave a wolfish grin as he said, "Your dodge training." bloodmoon raised his arm and out came his bow and then notched and arrow shooting it at Alex though it was off to avoid actually seriously harming him at most it would just give him a small scratch if it made contact.

Dagger widend his eyes, he dove to the side and pulled out a knife, he was about to throw it, then realised that he probably shouldn't fight back, the whole purpose was to dodge after all, he prepared himself to avoid another arrow.

Bloodmoon smirked and shot two more arrows and would wait till Alex went to doge and would fire a third just to see how the other boy would react before rushing forward before going for downward slash with his claws.

Dagger ducked under the arrows, he knew he had to dodge, but it would be a good idea to take the arrows out of the picture, he ran forward, the third arrow caught him by surprise, he barely dodged it, leaving a scratch on his arm and a tear on his uniform, he blocked the slash with his knife, but Bloodmoon was so much stronger that it sent skidding back a few feet, landing on his butt.

Bloodmoon then brought back out his bow and shoot an arrow above daggers head and said, "And you are dead, sorry I didn't mean to put so much force behind that swing sometimes I forget I have super strength thanks to the claws now get up we can continue doing doge training or we can work on how you throw your daggers but we will be coming back to the dodge training again if we switch now." While bloodmoon was saying this he was going around picking up his arrows and loading them back into his left arm.

Dagger frowned, dissatisfied, he was killed that easily, that didn't even take half a minute, he needed this training even more than he realised Knife throwing sounds good, I need to work on our accuracy he picked up an arrow and gave it to Bloodmoon.

Bloodmoon took the arrow and said, "Chose a target and throw then we can go from there." he then put the last arrow back in his arm and took a step back to give dagger space as he threw the knifes but also so he could fully see how dagger threw.

Despite basing himself around knives, Dagger had little skill with throwing knives, he didn't have proper technique or even a good throwing arm, he hurled a knife at the nearest target, he hit it a foot from the centre.

"Not bad but it seems you have no real technique on how you throw now there are a couple ways you can throw a knife we willl go through them one by one till we find one that seems to work for you best.", said bloodmoon spoke he pulled out his hunting knife and showed dagger how to hold the hold was done said, "one is the modified hammer throw you hold it like a hammer and index finger should rest on the back of the blade or just short of where the handle ends and the double sided blade begins. when you go to throw you bend your arm back you should throw when your arm and body would make 90 degrees."

Dagger listened to Shawns explination, he thinks he got the gist of that, he held one of his own knives as shown, he did it perfectly, he threw the knife at the target, taking a few seconds to correct his aim before he threw, his hit was almost perfect, enough that, if he was aiming for a mans heart, he wouldn't hit it exactly in the centre, but he would still hit it.

bloodmoon nodded to himself and said, "Now that is one down the next throw is a sideways throw what you need to do is hold the knife by the handle and the knife should be across your body then you throw right before you fully extend your arm there will be some curve like a curve ball I believe in the game you Americans call baseball."
