Snowboarding For Beginners (Lazy/Open)

Jenny tended to always try her best to be out on patrol when ever she could be but now and days she has been trying to bring fun into her everyday life and with all this snow coming down that now covered many many things she decided she'd try out snowboarding since shes never had the chance to before and she figured it'd be fun to try out. Jenny had already snagged some of her spare cash to rent some gear and was walking down the street when she saw a girl she had teamed up with before also known as her bubble buddy. She smiled brightly running up to her. "Hey yo bubble buddy!" she shouted to her waving.

Melissa turned and saw Jenny, the girl from the Galleria. Melissa waved and approached her. "Hello! How are you this fine day?" Melissa was sporting casual clothes for once, but she still wore the goggles as they just suited her and her hair. She was dressed in a bright blue blouse with jeans that wrapped comfortably around her legs.

"I'm doing great thank you, but hey I was on my way to rent some snowboarding gear and go try out snowboarding. Wanna join me?" she asked with a bright smile on her face.

"Snowboarding?" Melissa asked. She didn't know what it was, in fact she just found out about skiing. She wasn't familiar with most snow sports as she grew up in a place where no snow existed. However, not wanting to miss the chance she smiled, "Sure. I'll join you."

Jenny smiled brightly "sweet this will be great! Or at leas I hope so I've never snowboarded before in my life." she chuckled a bit as she lead the way to where they could rent some gear.

Melissa then realized, "Oh! Before we go, have a cookie." She pulled out from her bag a small box of minty chocolate chip cookies. She held it out for her to pick up. Smiling at her offer and waiting for Jenny to lead her to the place.

Jenny started to leave but then stopped when melissa spoke and turned to her. Jenny then offered a soft smile to her and took the cookie and started to eat it as she lead the way. "Nice cookie did you make it yourself? If so you gotta teach me how to make these"

"I'd be more than willing to teach you!" She gave a warm hearted smile. As they were having fun and chatting, Melissa decided to ask Jenny, "So...is snowboarding a big thing in the city?"

Jenny smiled "Awesome can't wait!" jenny then shrugged as they turned the corner. "Dunno honestly I've only been here for 2 years and last winter i just spent it all heroing and learning that snow is evil and will hurt your bare flesh if you leave it exposed. I know ti seems a bit obvious but I'm from down south so i sorta didnt have to worry about this stuff before."

Melissa listen as she shared her story, "Well, I was born in a sense an area without snow, I'm also a rural girl as well. We have a lot of things in common!" Melissa taking her goggles off for a brief second to scratch her head in that area. Then placing the goggles back on nestled in it's spot. She always loved wearing goggles, it just fit her personality.

Jenny smiled brightly and chuckled "I guess we do don't we!" they finally made it to the store and Jenny held the door open for her. "If you want I can pay for your gear too." she offered as she'd follow her inside.

Melissa walked in and said, "Oh no, you don't have to! I can pay for myself!" She turned to find a bunch of snowboarding gear and she was amazed. "Woww...This is huge..." She looked at the rental prices and immediately gulped. They were beyond how much money she carries. Turning back to Jenny, she lowered her head and said, "I'm sorry...can you actually pay for me?"

Jenny grabbed her stuff and smiled to Melissa "If you're sure then okay I'll let you handle it." After Jenny finished paying for her gear she was asked to pay for Melissa too and she chuckled. "Yeah I got you covered just bring your stuff over that you want."

Melissa smiled and thanked her. She turned around only to realize, she didn't know what to get. She knew she had to get a snowboard, but that was it. Looking at Jenny, she asked, "Uhm...can you help me with this? I...don't know what to get." She was really embarrassed, and to make it worst she felt like she was being extremely needy.

Jenny giggled and patted her on the shoulder as she put her stuff on. "No problem at all, I had to look up this stuff before coming here so you aren't the only one a bit confused on this stuff." she said in a reassuring tone leading melissa around to the stuff she needed helping her pick out some good gear at a decent price.
