A break from being super

As Nightmare shoots a blast towards Will, JaK places his feet flat against the side of the tower and then pushes off, while still holding onto the window's ledge. This causes the boy to swing upwards and back into the room, instead of away from the tower. He wasn't an expert free runner for nothing, mobility in impossible situations was Sage's specialty. As he came flying back into the room, his feet would extend straight out as he aimed for David with a front dropkick.

Psychosis created a shield to block the flames, while Sage attacked. After which time, Nightmare constructed fire like shackles around Sage's wrist to keep him from throwing a punch and then around his legs to make JaK immobile; but Will was ready to give aid, casting a spell that shot off like a lightning bolt from his finger tips towards Nightmare. Hoping to either force him to dodge the attack or take it to the back. In any case, Sage would be released from the confines.

Will's eyes would widen as he quickly flew over to the mainframe and tired to shut it down, he had fried most of the circuitry and was going to have a hard time fixing it before the countdown. Meanwhile, since JaK was freed from his holds, he grabbed the torched couch that used to be in the center of what was their living room and lunged it at Nightmare with all his might; afterwards charging at him while letting out a battle cry.

As JaK and Nightmare struggled over the couch, Sage would start to push the large object towards David; his own powers adding strength to his bodyframe as well as durability.

"I was going to ask you the same question. You know, all these years I've never seen you grow back a limb Dave. Let's see what happens when I rip your arms from their sockets!"

Though, as JaK said this, the couch suddenly lights on fire and JaK would instantly feel the intense heat through his armor plating; which began to heat up and let go of it, instinctively backing up away. As he did this, however, Dave kicked the the flaming furniture at him; but JaK with ninja like reflexes bent backwards in a Matrix like style and unlike the movie, he went into a full bridge to the point where his hands touched the ground behind him. After the couch flew over his body, the boy would finish the maneuver by flipping his legs over his contorted body and lands on all fours; sort of like a handstand style cartwheel. The burning object would continue to fly through the room, crashing into their kitchen and annihilating the refridgerator completely. Meanwhile, JaK got back to his feet and charged his brother again; who tossed mutliple fireballs at him as he approached. Sage would duck, jump over, and swat away a few of them as he neared Nightmare. Not even seeming to care if the metal framing around his body was heating up and melting as he pushed away the firey attacks. All he cared about was hurting his brother A LOT!

As he reached David, close quarters combat would commence when Sage kicks Dave in the gut and causes him to stumble back. Then tries to follow up with a superman punch, but is blocked and countered with a flaming palm uppercut from Nightmare, who grabs Sage's head as the boy fell back and drives it down into his knee. Dave not even seeming care if his bones and skin receive severe bruising from hitting JaK's metallic exoskeleton. His body would heal before he landed the next blow anyway; but, as he attempted to keep on the pressure by elbowing JaK afterwards, the younger brother catches his arm and then low kicks one of his legs from under him. This causes Dave to drop to one knee, which JaK uses as leverage to step up onto the knee cap and deliver a strong kick to Nightmare's face. Thus, causing David to go spiraling to the floor a few feet away from JaK; who pursued after the sibling, not wanting to let him get too much breathing room at all.

"You're a mad dog David, and it's about time I put you out of your misery. I'm going to end this nightmare we've called a life together, once and for all"

JaK would then grab Nightmare by the shirt with one hand and lift him into the air. Speaking through the grit of his teeth, this was no game to him and Nightmare's compliments meant nothing. As he did so he clenched his free hand into a fist, the metallic framing of his fingers making a scraping sound as they rubbed against his enclosed palm.

"You haven't seen anything yet."

JaK raised an eyebrow as Nightmare said this, not really caring or understating what he meant as he he prepared to hit him so hard that his bro would go flying through every wall of the tower. This was until he got bombarded by a flurry of flames from David's mouth, the bluish fire completely engulfing Sage to the point that he had to drop Nightmare and raise his forearms in an X position to block the stream of fire.
