The Show (Finished)

The man spewed out the gasoline he had drank by accident. "You crazy *****!". He called out, he didn't care anymore. By now he had accepted his fate, at least it seemed that way. Raising his voice like that is no way to talk to your murderers. Quinn bashed the thug in the head for that remark, a heavy elbow strike that caused the man to fall onto his side; chair still attached, his face inches away from the gasoline. With a smile, Quinn headed towards the front door; it was time to leave. "You... got matches too... right?".

Nightingale giggled smiling insanely under her mask to quinn as she watched her bash the man and started to walk out with her. She then slowly pulled them out from under her mask like it was a magic trick. "Tadaaaa!!!" she then laughed insanely and cutely as she strikes the match and tossed it behind her on the gasoline making it light on fire as she would link her arm with quinn. "I can tell you are gonna be my new best friend! So, where do yah wanna eat bestie?!"

At first, nothing. But as the two girls walked away from the property, things began to go up in a blaze as the building as a whole became a burning inferno. The suggestion to eat was a good one, nothing worked up a hunger like a good kill. But first, they needed to make sure they get out of there quickly. No doubt a fire would catch the attention of various locals. "Ummm, I dunno... I don't know why exactly, but something makes me think I could go for some BBQ food". Hehe. A wide smile present on the face of Quinn, delighted with how things had gone. It always was nice having help on a hit, and Nightingale seemed happy to help more than most. Perhaps next time they can switch roles, see how that goes.

Nightingale giggled at the scent of smoke and burning flesh as she smiled to Quinn having the two cut through lawns and back yards along with fences to get out of there faster but not having to run. "Yeah it's weird I'm in the mood for some smoked baby back ribs now, I'm really hungry though so do you think they would let me have smoked full grown man back ribs and not smoked baby back ribs?" she asked as they casually left the area as the police showed up.

"Maybe, but I can't imagine it's too healthy... neither would them saying you couldn't have it". If they do, well. There would be a rather hostile response. Alas, they were far enough away. Stood in an alleyway, between the residential district and downtown. Quinn was the one to initially come to a halt, stopping and turning towards Nightingale with a smile. "So! 'night. This a one time thing or... is there gonna be a next time? Because, I think you owe me a show too. The whole innocent gal who plays with bunny heads, ain't going to work on me. I'm sure, no, I know that there's more to you than that mask and the innocent voice you have". It was the million dollar question. There had to be more to this girl than meets the eye, and Quinn wanted to see what it is.

she spoke in a high pitched voice "Swa-eeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!" at Quinn's response. She held her hands behind her back smiling as she stood there with Quinn listening to her. Quinn liked her! She was so excited no more bleeding cat heads for her! No... now she had a real friend who was just as cool if not cooler than her! "I'd never do a one night stand on your face Quinn! So of course there will be!" She hugged her closely "I'm free every night up until a penguin kills me.

"Awesome!". You better not one night stand Quinn. "Well, I'll come find you sometime then, I guess". Hanging with Nightingale sure was better than spending nights alone, cutting down deadbeats. It had become a systematic routine, it lacked fun. But with Nightingale there, it was a great improvement. "Getting late, doubt their is anywhere open to eat. So... seeya!". Quinn said, hugging Nightingale one more time before disappearing from the scene, off into the darkness of the night, just the way she appeared.

Nightingale smiled brightly as she listened to Quinn she made her feel good about who she was as to where most others would just try and make her change claiming that she was 'not right in the head'. Quinn was right it was getting pretty late. or well it was very late at night so they both should just go home. Nightingale was glad that Quinn hugged her back this time, hugs were always better when not forced on others an when they hug back. Nightingale waved to where Quinn once stood before she caught a cat out of the corner of her eye and started chasing it down.
