Titans Together (All Titans)

Yang stood up and pushed Kishi back into his chair, and if he made any struggle against it, she would probably just smack him at this point. "Sit down and shut your mouth kid. You're not leaving until we've reached a full and final decision." She had no idea where the others had found this kid, but quite frankly she wished they hadn't. Even without her leadership role, she commanded respect in her voice, and that was impressive.

"Alright...based on what we know...I think we can head to the old B.O.E. base. Maybe we can find something...maybe Madame Rouge's DNA...?" She was already pacing now, going through the possibilities. She hadn't realized how many people there were that could be responsible for something on this scale, but the best place to start was definitely that base.

Kale had excused himself when Bow arrived to go the bathroom. When in reality Yang was right about his nose and affinity being on point. The Titan had sensed something but he could've been wrong. Seeing as there were a bunch of powered beings in his base right now some residue, or even a magic sneeze would set off his senses, so he went to take a look around.

He sniffed as he walked and looked about until he found an area near the basement where he could feel the magic signature. However there was nothing, the room was dim, only glowing mushrooms illuminated this corridor. However with a snap of his fingers fireflies would swarm down there to illuminate the area just like a clap on light switch. Kale suddenly felt a shiver up his spine and his eyes darted around. "This is like that game of hide and seek humans like to play," he said as he turned and walked around a corner then reached his hand back to grab hold of something as soon as he moved out of view. "And I just won." However the object Kale had grabbed seemed to melt from his grasp a moment later and then reappeared right next to him in the form of a person. But this person was also one he had seen before in Titan database records...

Kyd Wykkyd grabbed hold of Kale and before the teen could gasp he was gone in an instant. The dragon mage was engulfed in darkness for half a second and reappeared in a very dark room somewhere in a cold area. He attempted to get a good look of his surroundings but before he could even get a fair glimpse of the place he was struck. HARD! The large fist that had struck him sent him rolling across the floor where he stopped flat on his stomach. Blood trickled down the mage's forehead as he peered up and saw a group of young teens before him - Kyd Wykkyd included.

The teens were recognizable to him because these were the first real villains the Titans lost to in the original set of five. Jynx, Gizmo, Billy Numerous, Cheshire, and the one who had just attacked him Mammoth.

So the plan was to attack Kale using Kyd Wykkyd to sneak into his base, eliminate him, and then do the same to the others. But they made one huge mistake...

"So you think you trapped me in here with you?" Kale said as he awkwardly smiled and rose to his feet. The group said nothing, there was no need, they planned to kill him in just a few moments. However Kale did not run, he did not try to think of a clever plan to escape, he only took a fighting stance and bared his fangs. "No..." He suddenly lunged forward at the group with his fist cocked to strike the first one in his path. "YOU'RE TRAPPED IN HERE WITH ME!!"

Back at the tower Yang had just finished her sentence when a portal opened up and Kale and Kyd Wykkyd came soaring out of it and through the table. The pink haired mage laid a top of the defeated former HIVE student and took his scarf back from him. "Can't say I didn't warn you..." Kale said with a sigh. His injuries were pretty grave and his outfit was torn asunder. It was clear he had just finished a tough battle. "Were under attack, get --AUAAAHH!!!" Kale was about to say something but as it turned out, Kyd Wykkyd wasn't completely unconscious. The villain opened another portal and through it Mammoth came hurtling out and clobbered Kale into the floor sending him plummeting to the lower levels of the tower. Right after Mammoth was the rest of the HIVE Five who had come to make sure this Titan reunion was the last. Each of the former students chose a target and proceeded to attack!

Man. Kale could not catch a break could he. The hive five were back. The vanishing was over, in a sense. Out of the dark hole in the floor came a little green and black form, which flew right at hotwire and knocked him back. Hotwire managed to get to his feet, and turned around.

"Ok... I am so dismantling you." He said until he realized that gizmo wasn't coming at him. He was flying towards the exit. Hotwires eyes widened as he looked down at his feet. Gizmo had put a magnet grapple on it. "Oh for for love of-" He said before he screamed, yanked off his feet and into the air. Gizmo flew from the top of the tree, yanking hotwire around like a ragdoll.

"Like the view ya red haired pitsniffer?" Gizmo taunted. Back in the tree you could probably still hear hotwire's screams if your fight wasn't too loud.

Onyekachi flopped back into his seat with a look of astonishment. Prey didn't dare lay a hand on him. Let alone speak down to him. The blonde was certainly worthy of his fascination. But not his respect. That smack might well have been forthcoming had not the HIVE Five's timely intervention saved the day. Their entrance, although destructive, had the advantage of perking Kishi up. He was no longer bored. The magic portal of wonders kept regurgitating new thrills by the second. In particular that great hulk of a specimen which had literally floored Kale caught his eye.

Kishi stood with the intention that he should barge into Yang. Just because there were villains to hit, it didn't mean he was above provoking his allies. The wail of Hotwire caught his attention as he was dragged from the room, "Heh. Thought no one were leaving 'til we made a decision." His amusement was short lived. Shuriken shot through the portal at the pair. Onyekachi tumbled sideways to avoid them.

As he rose once more, Cheshire was crouched on the table not two feet in front of him. He hadn't even seen her exit the portal. Kishi sucker punched without hesitation. His fist crashed through the mask leaving it hanging limp around his arm. Cheshire was no longer inside the mask. The assassin had entirely disappeared.

Well f'word! How did she do that?

Five o'clock!

Onyekachi ducked a swipe. One of his brothers had sounded out the attack from behind. A precision kick collided with his ankle that would have broken a human's joint. Cheshire followed this up with another stab from her claws with the intent to gore. To her surprise a third arm had sprouted from his spine and caught her wrist. The demon threw her bodily over his head. She landed with grace on the other side of the room. Mask intact.

Onyekachi took stock. She didn't look like much. Kimono didn't even fit her, those sleeves were far too long. She was just one of those infuriating slippery customers, "How many masks did you bring?"

A voice oozing derision answered, "How many lives do you have?"

In two blinks of an eye all that remained of Cheshire was her smile. In three blinks that too had vanished.

Yang hadn't gotten much reaction time before she was tackled out of her chair by Mammoth, and his name definitely didn't lie. He hit like a mammoth. After throwing her around the inside of the tree for long enough she found herself stuck outside of the base, held off the edge by Mammoth by her leg, who was already taunting her. "Ya know, I really hate to hit a girl. Especially a pretty one like you but I mean...hey I have a job to do."

Yang blinked and looked up (down...?) at her opponent and raised an eyebrow. "Cool, you done?" She fired her gauntlet's cable out and wrapped it around his legs, knocking him off balance and allowing her enough leeway to kick him in the jaw and land on the tree branch next to him before he ripped the cable in half and continued his onslaught, throwing her back into the meeting room. "Seriously, how are you still moving?!"

To be honest, the question was well asked, because clearly Mammoth hadn't done his homework on his opponent. That was always a staple with him. He assumed if he threw you against a hard surface hard enough and enough times, then you would stay down, which to be honest usually worked for him. Yang was not a case where that was an option though. "Maybe you're just not as tough as you think you are, Mammoth." She taunted with a chuckle of her own, activating her second shot gauntlet, an audible click ringing out. Mammoth was clearly rather displeased by the comment and charged her again.

Bow didn’t wait for the portal to open again. As soon as Kale was knocked down levels, she gasped and flew after him, screaming. ”KALE!!” Another pink haired girl was following close behind and smirked, causing a tree branch to grow and knock Bow off course, but the girl was determined. She winced and got to Kale, still not paying attention to Jinx.

The pink haired titan focused on her friend and created a large ball of fire in her palm and pressed it against his mouth, smiling gently. ”Eat up.” She coughed lightly away from him and was met with the new girl’s knees. Bow looked up at Jinx and blinked. ”Don’t ignore me! That’s bad luck!” The girl giggled and her eyes glowed pink as she made the fire in Bow’s hand even larger, thinking it would harm Kale. Bow knew better though and smirked.

The titan stood up tall and faced her enemy with a smile, which quickly faded into a sneeze and then a cough. ”Ugh… Can’t we just… talk?”

Jinx smirked and walked towards Rain, her head swaying from side to side. ”What’s the matter? Feeling ill?” She waved her hand and sent a wave of lightning like pink energy flying at Bow. The pink haired titan could barely move and was caught easily by the attack, being sent to the wall. Hard. She squealed and coughed a fit of both sickness and hurt.

The girl looked up at the bad luck mistress and growled. ”I-I’m not going to burn down my home…” The tree morphed and let her out into the woods. ”C-come get m-*cough cough* me!”

Metamorphi was just mentally preparing himself for what plan of action may come next, when Kishi was pushed down to his seat by Yang, Metamorphi got to his feet and barked Hey! Stop that! he was going to maybe pull Yang off of Kishi, but before he could, Kale and one of the Titan's ex-rogues went in through a portal. Before Meta could even try to enquire as to what was going on, the rest of the HIVE Five stormed in through a portal.

Hotwire was sent flying away by some kind of gadget wrapped around his feet, Meta called his name and went to go after him, but a shadow came above him. He looked up to the source of the shadow, for a second he thought it was some kind of wave, but it actually turned out to be a large amount of the same person, all trying to body slam him. Meta tried to avoid it, but he was lost in the wave of clones.

Kale's back was broken - three cracked vertebrates. Try as he might he couldn't move and he had used up too much magic during his last battle. The Titan lay unconscious for a short while until Bow came upon him and fed the dragon mage fire.

Even after being fed Kale laid still unable to move, he had grievous wounds. However they were all magically healing - his back realigned itself and his cuts and bruises all started to vanish.

Jinx chased Bow outside and easily out manuvered most of the Titan Tree's defenses; she danced through the pine needle barrage, jumped, ducked, and limboed around the vine root snares, the rock golems broke apart just nearing her, and the tree centuries ended up hitting each other instead of the villainess.

Finally, Jinx cornered Bow and smiled. This was the end of the chase, but she had had fun. Then a stream of fire came bursting from Jinx's sideview but the girl didn't even move, she simply extended a hand and the fire wave went around her. Kale could be seen breathing heavily with his hand extended. Ignited flames still danced in his palm as he glaredat Jinx.

"Oh you missed your only surprise attack, seems like you're down on your luck. Love the hair though." Jinx said as she tilted her head and stood between Bow and Kale unnerved by the the three-way pink hair handicap match.

Kale smirked at her and clenched his fist. "A dragon doesn't need luck to take down his prey, he only needs skill and in this case his kin." Kale suddenly seemed geared up to attack again, but instead he bellowed out a very loud message in the form of a roar so his comrades could hear him. "TEEN TITANS COUNTER ATTACK! NO MATTER WHO THE ENEMY IS WHEN WE FIGHT TOGETHER WE CANT BE BEAT! SHOW THEM OUR REAL POWER!!" The roar was so loud it echoed. Kale hoped his plea rallied his comrades who had been taken off guard by the HIVE's rush.

Jinx put her hands on her hips. "Well that was pointless." she shook her head from side to side. "Don't you get it? Your little flames can't hurt me."

"You should pay more attention," The Titan signaled to Bow for their secret manuver. "I said when Titans fight together are our power doubles and were unbeatable!" Kale leaped at Jinx but she cartwheeled out of the way, little did she know he wasn't aiming to hit her, he was aiming to reach Bow. "Let's go, fill me up!" As Kale landed next to Bow he began to engulf both of them in fire and opened his mouth wide. Bow did the same - she was obviously feeding and powering up Kale but it seemed more like their flames had united and become one raging fire.


In actuality Kale was getting a constant stream of fire from Bow, which was then immediately output causing the amassing flame to grow gigantuine. Jinx had to shield her eyes and back away from the two as the brightness and intensity of their conjoined torch grew exponentially. The entire time Bow and Kale yelled out-loud in unison, almost as if their very souls had united.

Gizmo whipped Hotwire around for a good few minutes, Every once in a while smacking him against a branch or side of the tree. He then flew towards the top of the tree, ready to give Hotwire a stringing through the upper branches. That would hurt. Hotwire was totally helpless here until he could have even a moment to concentrate.

But then an idea came to him. It wouldn't need much aim, which was good. He reached to his belt and groggily pulled out his grappling hook, attached it to his wrist, and fired it. It hit a branch where they were much sparser, and lodged itself. He felt a large lurch as Gizmo's pack struggled against the hook. Of course, the hook wouldn't hold out forever, but that 5 seconds was all Hotwire needed.

He cast his gaze down to the magnet on his foot and disengaged it. Free at last. He began to fall back, his fall slowed by the hook. He then lowered himself down to a small platform. Dropping down and catching his breath, gizmo flew up to him.

"Nice trick ya got there. What else you got?" He asked. Clearly he didn't realize who he was dealing with... and what was going to happen now that hotwire had his concentration back.

Hotwire glared at him. "This." He said. All of a sudden, gizmos jetpack would fall apart around him. In shock, he began to fall to the ground. Thinking fast, his spider legs shot from his pack and broke his fall.

"Why you- ahhhh" He yelled. The legs had fallen apart. Hotwire just stood there, hand in front of his face, a light blue glow in his eyes.


"How are you..." He said advancing on him. A rocket launcher sprouted from it... and fell apart. Growing more frustrated he quickened his pace. Two energy blasters sprouted... and fell apart. About 4 feet from hotwire, his pack sprouted a pair of giant robot fists, which fell apart just as he got to him.


"Finally. Got ya now you stupid pit-" Nothing. He was out of fun little toys. He looked up. Hotwire looked down. Gizmo frowned, knowing he had lost. 


"Sniffer." he squeaked. "Ah crud." 

One solid kick did the job.

Kale's roar reverberated throughout Titans Topiary Tower. The demon quadruplets took heart and stood with open arms in the centre of the room. They were inviting attack. If Mittens thought they were going to join in her cat and mouse game, she was mistaken.

“Titans, eh? I know he can't be talking to you.” Cheshire spoke without betraying her position, “First day on the job? If you want out, just say 'uncle'.” Another brace of shurikens shot out of nowhere. They hit Onyekachi dead on his back but bounced off.

Kishi turned, plates of bone now shielded parts of his face. This patchwork armour was evidently protecting his torso as well. He stalked confidently around the room like a predator, “You'd let me go? Girl. If we hear word of mercy from your mouth again we will slaughter each and every last one of ya friends when they lie prone and helpless at the feet of these heroes. To be clear. If they can't save those chumps, you won't fare an f'wording chance when I get my hands around your throat. There is no boy scout here.”

There was pause. A smile flashed unseen from the ceiling above Kishi, “Hmm. A little angsty but you'll do.” Cheshire dropped.

Her legs wrapped around Kishi's head whilst still in free-fall. She wrenched hard right and pulled him clear off his feet, sending them both crashing to the ground. That should have broken his neck. Cheshire knew it had gone wrong almost immediately. There had been no audible crack. She released her choke-hold but not fast enough. A second mouth had sunk its teeth into her thigh and left sizeable canine wounds. The two combatants separated.

Cheshire rolled to a stop and sprang back onto her feet. The demon set onto his knees and launched off them into a charge. Four arms tried to grab her, Cheshire flipped straight over the rushing onslaught, narrowly avoiding them all. Her sleeve trailed and smacked Onyekachi's cheek as he shot passed. The brothers were livid; they didn't like being toyed with.

They spun on their heel and took a swing, aware that the assassin was once more in reach behind them. Cheshire ducked this hay-maker and raked her claws across his chest, meeting nothing but bone again. From out the torn section of his shirt a third arm narrowly missed grabbing her kimono. She darted back from Kishi's personal space, catching him under his chin with her sleeve again. The next couple of blows were an even trade-off as Cheshire's claws met Onyekachi's bone-plated arms.

“How do you suppose the others are doing?”

“The others? We still in the middle of a fight!”

“I'm sorry, you were boring me.”

Smoke bombs were launched. There must have been some irritant in them for Onyekachi's eyes began to water. Whilst coughing the demon did not notice that he strayed too close to one of the holes Mammoth and Yang had made. Cheshire shot out of the smoke and spring-boarded off his chest, “Buh-bai.” With a yell Kishi dropped. Thankfully a tree branch caught him. Before he could take a breather, however, the branch launched him back the way he'd come.

Cheshire had been inspecting the edge on her blades when Onyekachi crashed back into the room. Her posture went from one of triumph to one of disappointment, “Back so soon? Starting to seem a little desperate.” She advanced on the crash site, only to be inundated by a sudden geyser. With a cry she was knocked across the room. Cheshire shook herself off and discovered the geyser had been of blood.

“What s'matter? Not squeamish are you?”

“Ugh!”

Coming to blows once again, this time Cheshire got her lengthy sleeve around one of Kishi's legs and yanked it forwards. A painful splits was the result. Teardrops appeared in his eyes. One for every brother, Alright. I was gonna kill her before. But now! I'm gonna double kill her! The assassin had come forwards to take advantage of the situation. She was almost dancing round him as she rained swipes down, searching for any exposed piece of flesh. She found a piece, but it wasn't a body part she had been expecting to hit.

Cheshire's claws had become locked in the squishy suction of a spleen which had suddenly materialised. At long last Onyekachi pulled her into his embrace. At first a shoulder barge, then a headbutt, and finally a punch which knocked her flying. The demon smiled at the inert figure lying on the ground. It was a shame he couldn't actually kill her. She would make a good meal. But maybe now he could get some respect around the base and not have to attend another one of these darn meetings.

Wait. Are we... bleeding?

Onyekachi dabbed his cheek. There was a gap in the bone plating which Cheshire had managed to get a claw across. Almost on cue the girl stirred. She rose with a grace which did not expose any hurt, “I was wondering when you'd give me an opening. In ten minutes the poison will flood your veins and stop your heart.” The mask smiled cold, ”Say uncle!”

Meanwhile on the branches of the tree, Yang had just been punched straight through the wall and onto the branch. OK, now she'd pissed off Mammoth pretty bad. Cool! ...Maybe? While she was getting up she realized she wasn't wearing her armor, which meant that these punches were hurting quite a bit. For her. That's scary. As she got up she got into a stance and cocked back her wrist cannons, watching the 7' monster of a man step onto the branch with her. Good thing it was magic or it definitely wouldn't be holding their weight.

A second later, Mammoth was charging her, and Yang reacted quickly enough that she swiped his feet out from under him, knocking him off the branch. She was about to head back in and help Bow and Kale when she didn't hear that satisfying thud from below...and when she looked down she was quickly grabbed by the throat by Mammoth. "OK...I know...We've had our differences..." She choked out before being thrown onto the ground below with the Mammoth directly on top of her. That kind of hurt. A lot.

Now on the ground and underneath Mammoth, she wasn't left with much choice and cocked back the weapon, punching it into his chest and using one of her shock shots to electrocute the beast of a man long enough to knock him out and off of her. Pushing the unconscious creature off of her with her bionic arm, she sighed and was about to swing back in on a cable when she felt a huge hand grab her leg. "You think you can zap ME?! Who do you think I am, the...someone who gets zapped?!"

This entire situation...how do you knock this guy down? It's like fighting a brick wall! Electricity hadn't worked, he was way to thick for frost, and he could break any of her cables. She couldn't hold him down. After a small tug of war, the cable supporting Yang snapped in half and she was whipped backward by the leg into the ground, flipped around a few times and sent into the trunk of the tree.

Yang groaned and rubbed her jaw and...was she bleeding?! She rubbed her nose a bit and came to the conclusion that it was definitely broken. Honestly she was lucky that that was her biggest concern right now, she could easily deal with that later. Broken noses were nothing with what she had learned from Tiberius.

Mammoth saw the girl get up and was...quite clearly surprised. He hadn't expected it. So...time to move on to throwing things! He grabbed a car and chucked it at the girl before charging her. Yang grabbed the hood with her left arm and whipped it around, smacking mammoth in the side with it and knocking him into the Titans Tree.

She would need to end this soon if she wanted to avoid people getting hurt. So the best way to do that was her newest weapon...Infrasound. She stepped back and held out her open palm of her left hand and let loose with the modified arm. The sound was painful to anyone in front of Yang, and annoying to anyone behind her. It kept getting higher and higher, and the villain afflicted was clutching his ears and screaming, trying to charge her. But at the frequency Yang was using, he just couldn't. He was too nauseous. Too dizzy. He ended up charging himself directly into a tree, knocking himself out on it.

With a sigh, Yang fired several dozen bonding cables onto the Mammoth to...maybe detain him? Kinda? If he woke up before he was in custody anyway.

The several dozen Billy Numerous' that had flattened were all congratulating each other and high fiving, yelling out stereotypical Texas phrases which would be undecipherable to anyone not from Texas. They all pointed and laughed at the unconscious figure of the Titan, only to find that he was on his feet, brushing himself off What in tarnation!?! That shoulda' taken him out! then he noticed that the Titan had a body of solid steel Well that ain't fair!

Metamorphi turned back to normal and pounded his fists together, before turning to paper and rushing at the small army of Billy's. They all ran at him to beat him up, but then Meta turned into steel and dove towards the group, his weight and momentum making him like a cannon ball, strangely enough, when the Billy's were all scattered and sent flying, they made sounds like bowling pins being hit.

The Billy's all swarmed him, raining down punches, but his steel body took the blows like pillows, Meta moved his body in what limited ways he could, but not being able to achieve much. Once the Billy's realised that they couldn't hurt him, they all grabbed him and hoisted him up, great, Meta had already been overpowered and he had only taken out maybe half a dozen Billy's. Meta turned to Gold, the heaviest of the metals, but Billy Numerous and his clones had once carried away the bridge! Meta was nothing!

The Billy's threw Meta out of the hole in the wall, Meta cursed before turning his body to the material of a feather so that his fall was greatly slowed, he grabbed onto a branch on his way down and pulled himself up. He climbed back up, once again the Billy's had assumed they had finished him off without actually checking, they were all celebrating with their backs to him, sometimes Meta wished he had some way of attacking from afar or with a large area of affect, but he couldn't, all he could do was turn to paper, jump into the air so that he was above the Billy's and turn into Gold, crushing a few clones under his body before he turned to steel and took advantage of his element of surprise to leap into action.

Meta moved like a steel hurricane, punching and kicking and shoulder ramming and head-butting and elbowing and kneeing and crotch-kicking. Eventually, one of the Billy's managed to land on his shoulders and then multiplied over and over again until Meta collapsed, Meta grunted as he hit the floor. Even if he was strong enough to escape, Meta had exhausted himself fighting the clones, in their surprise they had not been able to properly group together and overpower him as well as they had at first, so Meta had taken out 50 Billy's.

But his efforts were for naught, Meta was defeated and Billy simply replaced the clones that Meta had taken out, thought it did seem to take quite a bit of effort. That was all that Meta's efforts had come to? Some sweat on Billy Numerous' forehead and slight panting? That was not good enough! Metamorphi yelled in rage and wriggled around, he looked stupid and the Billy's laughed at him, but he had freed his arms.

He started grabbing whatever handhold he could find and yanking on it to drag himself just a few inches. Soon, his upper torso was all free and he had more mobility of his arms, he started dragging himself backwards, the billy's piling on him being able to do nothing to stop him. With one final push, Meta freed himself all at once and the Billy's that had piled on him all fell, some Billy's landed on him, but this time he was able to just shrug them off.

Meta panted, but he had freed himself, he backed away from the small army of Billy's, they all charged at him, yelling a war cry, just as Meta was expecting. Meta faked a look of fear and backed away, they took the bait as Meta had expected and he turned into feathers at the last second, jumping over their heads. A few at the front had worked up too much momentum and fell out, but none of the others had been affected, but Meta was behind them now, he turned to paper and ran forwards, holding his arms out by his sides and pushing them all, they were all so closely bunched up at the edge of the hole that they were all knocked down like dominoes, falling off the side.

Metamorphi stumbled away from the hole and then let himself collapse to the ground, panting hard, if another opponent came for him, he was doomed, but that didn't matter, what mattered was that he had won! Meta wanted to roar in victory or raise his arms in triumph, but he was too tired, so all that came out was a groan that was slightly above average in terms of volume. Meta lay there, hoping that the rest had as much luck as he had, but hopefully with less effort put in.

It was too soon for the toxin to have kicked in. Yet upon mention Onyekachi felt somehow tainted. Like he could feel the poison creep across his bloodstream. Their mouth went dry and a sensation of urgency took over. Despite a demon's natural resilience, Kishi weren't a type of hellspawn who could shrug off adverse substances. They could eat raw meat without concern for cooking, but that's as much as evolution would grant them. If the brothers couldn't catch Cheshire and squeeze out a cure from her, then they were as good as finished.

A shame that requires her to be conscious.

Onyekachi activated his ability of aftershock. A blow much reminiscent of the headbutt he had before delivered struck Cheshire out of nowhere. She dropped, demonstrating hurt for the first time. The Kishi approached slowly, malevolently, and Cheshire scooched back. Another body blow knocked her flat as she tried to stand. The Kishi was able to reach down and grab her boot. The assassin responded by heel clicking. A hidden mechanism was activated and a knife blade drew from her footwear, slicing into Onyekachi's arm.

More poison wasn't a problem. The Kishi rubbed their wrist as Cheshire gymnastically regained her footing. It was then the punch that Onyekachi had delivered before resurfaced. Only this time the power was amplified by three. Cheshire shot backwards as if connected to a tether, splintering bark on the wall she crashed into. She was not so quick onto her feet this time.

"How are you...?"

"I've been holding back. If you don't pony up an antidote real quick, I'm gonna break every bone in your f'wording body poltergeist style." It was a bluff. They had almost run out of aftershocks. Thankfully Cheshire had no way of knowing the finite nature of his ability. For every one blow he dealt he could repeat its effects three times. No more.

There was genuine hesitation. She slumped, holding one arm under her armpit to nurse a rib. Then at last she nodded. Sliding a hand between the fold of her robes, she produced a vile. Her smile had gotten inexplicably wider, "You're going to have to work for it." The vile was thrown high above Kishi.

Onyekachi started back, all eyes trained on the fragile piece of glass that could save his lives. Yet as he held out his hands to catch, a shuriken smashed the antidote through. His elixir spilt uselessly onto the ground. In his distracted state, Cheshire once more got her claws on him and connected with a high-kick to his jaw.

"Are your reflexes slowing? Shall we test that?"

Enraged now, the Kishi snarled as they stood. Subtle redirects from Cheshire, amounting to poking, sent his attacks wide of their mark. With six arms he could not keep up with her. She caught his face with her hand in a show of superiority, "I think they are." Squeezing his cheeks, she ducked his ill timed punch and stepped back. Her leg had hooked around his, and sent him tumbling to the ground, "The more you struggle, the quicker the poison spreads."

Onyekachi pounded on the ground, starting to sound more desperate, "Oi! Tree! Do something!" The tree responded. A sap began to bubble up under Cheshire's feet. She moved in time and kept moving until she landed ontop of some furniture. Unfortunately this furniture was next to a knot in the wall. A puff of paralysing gas shot straight into her face. With a groan she fell onto her back.

No way. We gotta share credit with a tree?

Hurry up, stupid. Where there's one antidote there's more.

Onyekachi's heart was thumping fast now. All he could hear was the blood rushing by his ears and his own laboured breathing. His legs had become weights and he plodded across the divide until he stood over the table his salvation was lying upon. The demon spat on the girl; his priority being revenge in whatever minor form it was accessible. Then he went to dip his hand between the folds of her kimono in search of more anti-toxin.

The body moved. There was a reversal. Without ever having realised what was happening, Cheshire was now atop of Kishi. Her claws glinted near his eyeballs, "Mask has filters." Sparing the blade, she punched his face so hard that the table gave way. Onyekachi lay in the wreckage panting as Cheshire got distance.

"Who the f'word... are you... who's killing me...?"

"In a moment, it won't matter."

"You bi-" A pain shot through Onyekachi's chest. His heart was on its last palpitations. After a fierce struggle with what seemed himself, Kishi's heart gave out. His arms collapsed to their sides.

"Cheshire." The girl turned to leave.

"TITANS!"

Spinning back round, Cheshire was alarmed to see Onyekachi moving. He was holding the Titan communicator to his mouth, "I've been poisoned -uck! My heart just stopped! I've only got three more -ack! One of you better get up here and figure something out! Quick!" In a moment of brilliance the brothers had given this one body use of all four hearts. The clock was ticking.

"A trap! Good suggestion." Cheshire once more disappeared.

As Kale gave her the signal, Bow smirked and stood up tall, beginning to fuel herself up with passion so that they could unleash their special attack. Her eyes sparkled with flames as she began to feed him and herself at the same time. The circulation of both of their fires began to grow and grow into one.

The spectacle was amazing. As their wavelengths were in sync with each other, their power practically quadrupled! Jinx went wide eyed and started to try and throw things in front of her and at them. Anything that she threw at them though simply disintegrated in their 2000 degree Celsius furnace.

The two pink haired Titans smirked and began to walk towards the pink haired villainess, balls of fire dancing at insane speeds towards the bad luck queen. Too bad this was her LUCKY day. Jinx squealed as the orbs seemed to follow her no matter the twists and turns she did.

As they were playing hide and seek with Jinx, Kishi was playing a much more dangerous version of the game. When her communicator went off, Bow’s eyes went wide and she looked at Kale. ”You got this!?” With the assured nod from Kale, Bow flew off, leaving Kale fed and powerful. Jinx looked to Kale and smirked. ”Whoever he is, he’s run out of luck!” Her attacks were focused on the boy as Bow ran to the rescue of her teammate.

When she arrived, she was already in a fit of coughing. ”Don’t worry, Kishi! I’m here!!” The first thing she saw was the body on the ground though and she freaked out. Her eyes got wide and her body instantly began to glow a soft blue. She didn’t even notice. ”nononononono… W-what??” She ran to him and got on her knees, trying to hear his heart beat.

When she didn’t hear anything, her heart almost gave out on her. Tears filled her eyes and she began to perform CPR on him, hoping that it would work. ”Wake up!! What are you doing!? Get up!! You can’t die on me!! On US!! You’re part of a team now!!” With every pump of her hands, a surge of purifying power was coursing through his veins, all of his veins.

It went on without her knowledge. The blue aura continued to grow, and spread to him as well. She had been able to extract half of the poison before attracting the attention of the disappearing ninja. Out of nowhere came a shuriken and she wasn’t able to even try to avoid it. Unless it was blocked by someone else, she would be struck on the cheek.

Definitely got her attention though. Bow stood up and her eyes glowed crimson. RAGE filled her heart for whomever it was that did this to her comrade. It didn’t matter where they were, she unleashed her fire of fury in a spray all across the room, destroying everything it touched. A blood curdling scream escaped her lips and then she collapsed, coughing and puking up blood. She was at her limit, but hopefully she had done enough… She went back to CPR, completely healing Kishi to 100%.

(If I need to edit, let me go… I know it’s crappy… >.< But hurray for healing touch now! )

Kale and Bow roared in unison as the flame danced around them. The pink haired mage extended his hand and Bow placed her palm over it creating a fireball in between. Kale cast it forward and directed it with his finger towards Jinx. The duo attempted this three times but each time Jinx used her olympic gymnastic prowess to utilize her surroundings to block and evade.

Just as the two planned to switch tactics Kishi's S.O.S. resounded over the intercom. Bow was given permission by Kale to help their ally, meanwhile he would stay and face down Jinx.

When Bow was gone Jinx came out into the open and placed her hands on her hips. "What was it you said?" Her eyes illuminated pink. "Together were unbeatable, but now I have you all to myself."

Kale ripped off the rest of his tattered clothing except for his sash, scarf, and torn pant-legs revealing his full upper body then pointed to the Titans symbol tattooed on his shoulder. "I swear to my comrades and to you that I will die before you beat me." Kale began to blaze all over as he spoke. "Now come at me with full power this time, it's no fun if you're holding back."

Jinx was surprised - she had been holding back her bad luck powers as she always had to not have it affect her allies. But now she was alone, which means she could go full force. "It's a shame you have to die really. Pink hair and a ripped body aren't something a girl comes by often."

Kale was able to tell her full potential because of his magic sensing ability but even though he was amped up his power wasn't exactly a match for how much bad luck energy Jinx could put out. The villainess suddenly began to radiate pink waves of energy that aged the grass, wilted trees, and crumbled rocks. Meanwhile Brave was burning up, the ground around him was scorched black and the two were grinning from ear to ear - this battle was the best kind. No objectives, no one else, just one's will versus another with the Titan Tree hosting numerous simultaneous battles in the background. "Even if I was attracted to humans, you definitely wouldn't be my type."

Kale struck first, leaning back and throwing forward a volley of punches that shot fireballs from his knuckles towards Jinx. "Phoenix Flame Barrage!" Jinx dispersed them all immediately by twirling in a circle and releasing a ring of pink energy. Kale was shocked by this as he stood flabbergasted with his eyes widened, but he still wouldn't give up, he made an oath to his teammates just now after all.

Kale clapped his hands together and formulated a large fireball overhead and lunged it at Jinx, and again the girl hand-sprung backwards behind a tree which was ignited instead. Kale was TIRED of this forest providing her cover. "I'm done with hide n' seek today!" The boy huffed as he took a deep, deep, breath which made his stomach bulge. "Roar Of The Rising Phoenix!!!" The titan belched out a massive river of fire that burned and charred everything in it's path to ash. There was no forest fire because the only thing left from his flame was black charcoal of the trees that once stood tall.

Kale took deep breaths, he had just used a lot of magic power to clear that area of the forest. Maybe he had overdone it, he didn't see a body.

"Pick-a-boo!" Kale suddenly turned to find Jinx had snuck up on him. A shuffle sidekick to his jaw  sent Kale rolling across the floor where he finally came to a halt upside down against another tree. His eyes were swirling and his legs dangled by his head. From in between his knees he could see Jinx soaring towards him again to deal some more punishment. Kale used his dragons breath again, but this time to propel him sideways to avoid Jinx's strike which stripped bark off the tree.

Kale while still upside down used the position to windmill spin like a break dancer, sending flames spitting out from his legs. The streaks of fire struck Jinx but did little more than burn her and singe her clothes off a bit.  Never the less she jumped back and sent waves of bad luck into the ground. The soil underneath Kale began to crack and the dragon mage suddenly went plummeting into a random twelve foot ditch. What bad luck. Soon after a huge boulder rolled through the hole in the ground on top of him.  

The ditch was plugged and Kale had assumably been flattened. Just to make sure Jinx placed a palm on the ground and send waves of back luck into it. Spikes of pink energy cracked through the surface until it all collapsed in, burying Kale alive as well. Satisfied she dusted her seared outfit off and sought to thinking if the mission was still salvageable.

Suddenly the ground below her began to rumble and then a column of flames burst through and surrounded  her, followed by Kale who nearly hit the girl with a furious uppercut as he popped out of the ground howling at the top of his lungs, but missed by just a margin of an inch.

Jinx fell back onto the ground. Kale was severely out of magic now - burning through dirt and tunneling to where he had sensed Jinx's location was no easy feet. However, the girl was still ok. She was toasty, but still able to fight on. Not to mention her power scale wasn't diminished at all. Hed Brave landed the blow she would've been unconscious, but as luck would have it...

Kale huffed and puffed, disheartened by this outcome, what would he do now? He only had magic enough for one more spell possibly - even with the amp Bow provided him.

Well as it would turn out Jinx could give you bad luck, but she couldn't give her teammates good luck. A pile of Billy Numerous clones plummeted from above and landed on top of Jinx. Jinx struggled under the unconscious dogplie, and ranted at her dumb teammate for his conjoined weight. Before she knew it Kale had already dashed the distance in between them with his hands ablaze. "Looks like your luck's," he spun, swirling the group of clones and Jinx into a vortex of fire. "RUN OUT! Searing Crimson Lotus!!!" The clones and Jinx were burned and tossed around in the red funnel until it dissipated and they all came crashing down to the ground with smoke stacks rising from their body.

Kale stood victorious over jinx and the rest of the burnt clone bodies and roared loudly, not sounding like a human, but a dragon! The boy dropped to his knees - he was famished but luckily there was a lot of delicious rubble scattered about.
