"Sage felt...well he felt....EMPOWERED. Holy crud, so this is why he could never hurt this reaper dude; he's ultra powered up."

But, JaK soon put these thoughts out of his mind, for the gargoyle like figures were coming to contest him. Sage absorbed a large stone lying next to him in preparation for the assault, wishing he had something to skewer them with before lunging the said rock at the closest winged demon and knocked it back. Then surprisingly his mental wish would come true, his arm contorted into a lance like figure. The fingers of his palm narrowing down and lengthening into something pointed, yet still made of stone. Sage would then think of an Axe next and his other hand did much of the same, turning into a large bladed weapon as well.

"I could seriously get used to this."

JaK would then roar out as he charged at the demons, sticking one in the chest and chopping the other in the back of it's neck.

Necati moved with ungodly speed as he breached the point of human perception. His movements and strokes were but blurs much like watching a choppy animation where the viewer only could see one out of every five frames. The demons themselves had little chance as he moved through them like a new forged blade through butter. They simply melted away under away under the tremendous strokes of his scythe and speed of his blows. Dark energy continued to radiate from his being as lines of black could be seen trailing from his moving body. One could compare them to storm clouds breaking off the wings of a plane. It was obvious now that what was ever human in the Reaper had now been consumed. All that remained was the darkness of his being and the pure power that presided in him. The demon’s howled in pain and anguish as they fell to pieces with their tainted blood staining the ground. It creeped slowly over the ground turning it black and toxic. The grass could be seen dying under the taint as it moved slowly outward. Each demon fell after the other as the grim reaper moved about the graveyard. The creature’s cries rang through the night sky filling it with sorrow and misery as they were dispatched back to hell. Necati’s voice came drifting through the air to the other hero’s ears as the darkness inside of them allowed them to listen to his thoughts. It was but a whisper crystal clear that lingered a bit too long. Sounding much like an eerie song.

“Dark and light forever lost the balance will be.
Demon and death will rule this world until the chasm is closed by thee.
Move swiftly heroes strike out for the light.
And allow not the Reaper and Hollowman to claim the world on this night.”

While Sage punctured and fought with five of the demons who swarmed him, getting bitten and clawed at by the merciless fiends. Nightmare would get much for the same, but the magic that infused in him from Necatti made his flames turn a dark black. As he spouted fire from his palms, he found they would be able to burn the multiple demon's flesh; which was odd seeing as they literally lived in fire. Not having much to say, David would torch them as they neared and as they bit into his flesh he would heat up his skin to burn their serpent like tongues.

"Get out of my head OK, seriously. I'm sick of you dead guys doing that!"

This magic stuff was awesome, his body was even too hot for demons too touch. Meanwhile, The Hollowman would see the group fighting back and read their darkest thoughts without even looking at them. As he did so, he could now even read death's worst fears.

"Necatti, you've been hiding your inner demons for so long and now, I'm going to bring them out to the light hahaha! Like death, anything and everything fears something in the universe. Its why evolution takes the course it does. So that beings like these two young men can evolve to fight back against the things they fear. Tell me Reaper, what makes you turn your head when something bump in the darkness of the night?"

The Reaper smirked as he looked at the Hollowman. His greatest fear had already come to pass there was nothing left for him in this world besides the collecting of souls. There was no bump in the night, no shadow in his mind that would cause the Reaper concern. No he lived his personal hell every day, the pain of his lost soul worked its way through him forever and always. The Hollowman had nothing for him. He could dig at this “fear” but there was nothing for him to grasp on nothing that he could lift from the depth to instill fear in his mind.

“You are mistaken Fredrick, my demons have already devoured me whole. There is nothing left for you to take. My darkest hour has come since the beginning of time. My personal hell is the life I live for eternity there is nothing more you can do. It has created what you see before you. I am the bump in the night, the shadow in the back of your mind…It is time you looked inside yourself and saw what you fear…”

Lifting his right arm all around Fredrick an dome of seals appeared encircling him. Necati snapped his fingers and all of them jumped to life glowing bright silver in the night.

“Oblivion!”

The dome exploded with light as pure energy burst forth from each seal directed toward the Hollowman. Light exploded from the area shooting out in every direction rolling across the land as shockwaves moved outward cracking tombstones and knocking over demons. It was now that they needed to attack while the Hollowman was distracted or offbalance.

As the dust would clear from the strike Necatti had delivered, a crystal black orb would be seen surrounding Hollowman. The contents of which, were so dark he could not be seen inside it; but his voice could still be heard; though it sounded less eerie now.

"No Reaper, it is you who misunderstands. Fear is not just the heightened feeling of an emotion, it's the unwantingness of any being. That twitch that a creature feels when it knows something bad is going to happen to it's being. Your heart might be hollower than my soulless body, but I can see into your very core; what you despise the most in exsistence and I can bring it to you. OBSERVE, Cakazan, Mori AZkipzut Nair!!"

As these words would below out of the dark forcefield, it lowered and Hollowman would be revealed; accept he was..was different. Fredrick was no longer a corpse, but instead his old self. Filled with blood and the fresh scent of life, though this would only be a mirage in which the dark magic casted upon the 300 year old entity. Nonetheless, as the shell of a man lifted his finger tips, the souls Necatti had collected over the years would appear to flow out of his cloaked being and surrond him in a spiritual torando. Not actually causing him phsyical harm, but tormenting him with the various moans that he's had to hear for eons. His inner demons were rentlentless in their tormenting and complaining towards the Fallen. Meanwhile, Sage cuts down a few more of the gargoyle like creatures and finally reaches Will.

"Come on dude, use the spell book or something. This is why Voromir gave it to us, there's gotta be something in there somewhere that can stop him rig---"

Before JaK could finish his sentence, he would suddenly be scooped up by a demon and hoisted up into the air. As it held him by the neck, the creature would sink it's claws into his armored skin and bite down into Sage's midsection. The Titan would scream out as this happened, his armor was holding up against the razor sharp teeth, but he still felt the immense presure from it's fangs; like that of an crocodile chomping into a wild buffalo. JaK counters back by converting the heel of his foot into a stone spike and stabbing the creature in it's thigh, causing it to drop him. The boy uncontrollably plummets back towards the ground and braced himself for impact as he did so.

From all around Necati spirits and ghost of every form and of every person came barreling forth to wreak their revenge. He the grim reaper was trapped in a web of death that was of his own creation. He had no one to blame but himself. Pain, strife, guilt and regret moved through his body as he dropped to the floor of the cemetery letting his scythe fall with a metallic clang. Sweeping out with his limbs he clawed at the apparitions but to no avail. His mind was gone and alls that was left was the raw emotions un checked. Pain continued to rip through his body as he twitched and writhed with an unnaturally sickly howl escaping his throat. Before his eyes each and every soul he had collected over the millenniums came bursting forth. Each one tore at a bit of his body and soul and were etching their fate in blood upon him. The darkness moved and heaved around his body until it completely entrapped him in his own rage, hate and chaos. It was as if Necati had fallen into the deepest and darkest abyss of the god’s shut out by all that existed and left to rot for eternity. If only his sister could see him now.

How much joy and validation would it bring to her to see The Fallen fall so far from grace? How much of a smile would form on her pretty face to see his own demons devour his essence of being. Pain ripped through his body again as the spirits ripped another shred of his soul away. A roar to shake the heavens moved through the cemetery as all living and dead stopped to watch as the Death itself fought for its own existence. Necati could feel existence being taken from him. It was like a heavy weight upon his chest. It would be ever so easy to simply give up and let the spirits take him…though he could not do that. His pride, anger, and hatred drove him. He would not succumb he was the Reaper. It was him who controlled death. These spirits bent to his whim he would not be devoured. He would not be put down like some mongrel dog.

Feeling the power of Death fusing with his body and soul, Will feels the magic abilities in him increase ten fold. His eyes glowing a bright white, Psychosis turns to look at the demons flying around in the cemetery. The dismay and horror created by the undead rising out of their graves and the demons flying out of Hell, Will has had enough of it. Without making any movements or saying a word, a white bubble sends out of Psychosis's body and sweeps across the graveyard. Screams and howls are heard coming from the zombies, demons, and souls as they begin to burn and transform into ash. Will knows that thanks to Death, he is fully able to take on Hollowman, even when this is Hollowman's hour.

Just before hitting the ground, JaK would be caught by none other than Nightmare. The boy was yet again demonstrating his abiltiy to use his fire as combustable jets and flew into the air much like human torch by shooting two streams of fire at the floor. As David reached Sage's altitude, JaK would grab onto his neck and hang on..

"Launch me at him!"

"Gotcha, hold on!"

Nightmare while still flying, would soar over by Hollowman; now that the demons were all fried, nothing was stopping them from reaching the newly restored magician and as they neared he launched JaK straight a him. The boy flew like a cannonball, roaring out menacingly as he did so and turned his right arm into a large mallet as well as making a giant spike ball out of the other. From behind him, Nightmare was still airborne and unleashed a hail storm of dark fireballs towards Hollowman as well. The undead being unnerved by the assualt was ready for these feeble attempts to stop his might. First he cast a spell, which would fire a strong icebeam at Sage and the fireballs. The beam put out the flaming meteor like blasts, but Sage just cut through the rest of the beam with his spikey appendage and then lead with his mallet; his mind focused on putting a hole through the villain's head.

"Bakshir Korz'umbaka!"

As the titan neared, however, some fabric would seem to flow out of Hollowman's pants pocket that would almsot appear to go on forever like a very long handkerchief and wrap itself aroudn the boy. Around and around and around it would go until he was packaged up as tight as a mummy. Although, he was not completely immobile, as he fell to the ground JaK would struggle tirelessly to cut through the fabric, but it was magicly endowed and held strong. Meanwhile, Nightamre would fly towards Hollowman and blast at him with a wave of dark fire; but, Hollowman was getting stronger by the moment and just swatted the attack away. Then yelled a loud one worded spell and within a moment, he would hack up a placenta of green slime on the other brother. The slime immediately proved to be a potent substance for David's skin and ate away at his flesh almost as fast as he could heal from it. Thus, causing the titan to drop out of the sky in pain next to Sage and writhe while yelling uncontrollably as his body rushed to reconstruct itself faster than the acid melted him away.

"Don't you fools get it, you cannot prevail. Your mission was failed the moment the clock struck midnight. This is My Time now to rise to POWER and is also all of your final hours."

After finishing his sentence, Fredrick would direct his attention to Psychosis; being the soul entity not suffering from one of his spells at the moment. Unafraid of his white magic, Hollowman started to absorb power at an even faster rate and as he did so, his eyes would go from all blood red to actually bleeding as well!?! A dark aura started to surround him and cause the hairs peeking from under his top hat to rise up like a DBZ character powering up. During the process of absorbing energy he would laugh menichally, very pleased at the aspect of after centuries of wait. His time for revenge against the citizens of Jump City had finally come.

Are you enjoying your power trip, Hollowman? Liking the taste of being back in your youthful body must be warming your imaginary heart. But as Necati said, your time is going to end and I'm going to ensure that his words are true for once.

The deadly, white power inside of Will bursts out and circles around like a tornado to form a large sphere infront of the enchanted titan.

In the shadow of time, I'm going to shine through the darkness. LUNARIS RELIGIO!

As if he's been planning this the whole time, Psychosis grasps the ball containing all of the energy he could muster with both hands and aims at the black moon. Thrusting the sphere from his hands, the energy ball grows larger and larger as it gets closer to the Moon. Unleashing all of the compacted magic to show how much there was drained from Psychosis, the ball hits the planet and causes the eclipse to end as the Moon is now absorbing all of the light and reflecting it back down on Earth, purifying anything that managed to escape the graveyard, and causing the supply for Hollowman's energy boost to fade away.

Hah....ha.... ha..... That seemed.. to work. ha...

Completely drained from making a blast of that proportion, Will feels his body give out and falls to the ground.

"WHAT!?! NOooOoooOOoo..."

As the moon was fully blocked by the white energy orb that had completely drained Psychosis of all his energy, Hollowman's power would drain away from him steadily. As if the purified moon substitute's light was now having the opposite effect on him. His fresh new skin began to melt away until he was nothing, but a corpse again and the acid that was eating away at Nightmare would now just flow off of him like water. Same goes for JaK, who was trapped in the unbreakable fabric; which he soon was able to rip through and free himself. Off in the distance the gargoyle like creatures that were pestering the town would turn to stone in mid flight and crash into the ground one after another, thier bodies disintergrating to ash only moments afterwards. Then as the dark magician fell to his knees sufficiently weakened, he would look up and see his death approaching. No pun intended, Necatti was now freed from the spirits that plagued him, the many souls he had collected would go back to their rightful place and give bother to the Fallen no more than usual. Hollowman at this point would think of nothing, but escape and made a cover fog with his last bits of strength as so he could dissappear; wanting to get away before the Grimreaper was in strinking range of him.

Lifting himself up from off the ground Necati’s drew himself up to full height. Out of his cloak to large black wing burst forth, a storm of pitch black feathers came flutter forth falling all around the group like rain. The powerful wings gave one mighty beat that sent the fog scattering about clearing a path of vision in the cemetery. Peering through it just on the edge of vision Necati could see the Hollowman scampering away over the tombstones headed for the safety of the forest. A harsh laugh rang through the air as Necati’s dark wings beat again lifting him a few feet off the ground.

Did he really think he would escape his fate? Did Fredrick really thing that he could hide from death better than the countless others who had tried their hand. In a flash Necati shot forward nothing more than a streak of blank in the night, visible only the brief reflection his silver scythe gave when the moonlight caught it just right. A wicked smile slowly became etched across Necati’s face. It had been far to long sense he had hunted prey. Hollowman would provide him a bit of sport. Necati would give chase. Though the Hollowman had to know, no matter how far or fast he ran nothing escaped death’s winged shadow.

As the battle appeared to be over JaK would pick up Will and hoist him over his head, before taking his teammate back to the tower with Nightmare following in behind them. Their enhanced powers were gone and each of them was feeling fatigued from the stress their bodies had just been put through, healing factors and all...

"Glad that's finally f**ing over...I never did like Halloween very much."

Sage ignoring his brother would contact Najm and Jade for a rondevu point, he was just hoping to never hear the word "hollow" mentioned in reference to anything in his life time ever AGAIN.
