Yang patrolled her sector of the city as was procedure. Normally she did this with technology whether it be hacking into street cameras or launching drones. Given the current state of everything however...she just couldn't keep doing that. She had to come out of the tower and really fight the Zydon or she'd lose the support of her team. This was noble...right?
Truth be told, she was beginning to lose understanding of the phrase. She thought she could help people with her technological expertise. She thought technology could solve anything, but now she wasn't entirely sure. It was at this point that a huge boom sounded from the nearby mesa of Jump City and she sighed, pulling down her Ranger mask.
Getting on her bike, she checked her communicator. 4 in the morning. The danger was definitely real but...her team needed to sleep. Super humans or not, they were still humans. They needed to rest, and they'd all been worked to death recently. Her, not so much. She would handle this one. Rocketing through the streets, she drove along the mesa, looking down into the canyon that lead to the mesa, she saw one of the scout ships that she'd become rather accustomed to seeing. Common sight...that's despicable.
She stopped on the edge of the canyon, hiding behind a boulder to eavesdrop. Maybe she could learn something. Anything. Just to prove she still deserved her role...
