He never broke a glance and didn't falter a single word... because he was right.

Grim slowly began to let the god take over, very slowly. just in case Fear does something.

Fear turned to Xzuk and walked close to him. "You know nothing of fear." she faced him completely and stared him dead in the eye. "Besides, how could I fear anything? I am fear, itself. Every shadow, listening, making sure everyone in the world remains afraid of something. No, I fear nothing. Not even Death. Which is why Alyss remain afraid and affected by everything. Well, that and because, well...Xzuk knows." she smiled at him, curling her lip.

"there are many fates much worse then death, it is forbidden for any mortal to know." Grim said

"All those in search of power only fear to lose it... what would happen if you and Alyss were to switch places? You become the powerless and fearful runaway... and Alyss the powerful and fearless?"

That was a result Xzuk would most like to see in the near future...

huh, thats a good idea, big man up there might be a bit pissed though. Grim thought

Fear clapped her hands together excitedly. "Oh my dear fellow, of course I know that! My spirits helped create most of them in the first place. Alyss remains in a living hell while I am active, she knows that better than most do. But you, my godly solider do not know of a few things. You do not know for one that in the last few seconds I have located the name and face of your 'love object' in your head." she turned to him and smirked. "I'll have her blood by dawn if Fear remains awa-"
With that Fear's eyes rolled backwards and she dropped to her knees. Alyss looked back up, her blue irises looking back at them. She grinned sheepishly before wincing in pain and pulling up her right hand sleeve, where the word FEAR was carving itself into her skin.
"She likes to leave a mark everytime she gets out, which is becoming increasingly more often," she said, worriedly.

"... I need to find Slade."

Xzuk realized he may be the only one who can solve this problem...

And I will fix this... no matter what...

"wait up, you might need a trading chip." Grim walked next to Xzuk

'I hope he knows what he's getting himself into.' Mg thought. She prepared the clone to defend Xzuk in case it was needed. She still looked calm although if you stare at the clone, you can tell it wasn't the real Mg by the way it doesn't breathe. As Alyss came back, she made the clone relax again.

Alyss nodded at Xzuk. "And tomorrow morning I'll set off to find him myself. I've caused enough damage here, I'm of no real use to you. I'll find Slade tomorrow and ask him to help me control my powers. He was kind to me before. I'm sure he'll take me back, no fuss." she headed for the door. "Thank you for having me here and I'm sorry for the carnage I bought with me. I promise even when I'm with Slade, I'll never attack you. I'll say goodnight now, if that's okay. Slade will care for me," she said, glaring at Xzuk.

grim hoped raven wasn't in the area, anyways she had specter. Grim thought

"But... I don't want you to leave..."

...Jeez... not again... First Sumi and now Alyss?

"Let me talk with Slade first and see if I can arrange some kind of deal. He may be able to help you without you joining his side.. for the right price..."

Alyss smiled at him, weakly. But then she shook her head.
"Slade would never accept an offer of that sort. You know it has to be this way, I'm out of control." she said, softly. "Goodnight everyone."
She turned on her heel and headed down the corridor towards Xzuks room, but she stopped and carried on walking towards the Common Room. She'd take the couch tonight. She laid down on the sofa and pulled a blanket over her, it was light outside because of the stars. She wiped a tear from her cheek and shut her eyes. It was going to be eventful tomorrow.
