Nina smiled "and Luke is a pretty handsome Charmander" she said with a giggle before she walked over to her camp "want to hang-out for a bit?" she asked.

He blinked, following Nina as she invited him to hang out for a bit, Luke following him not far behind as he smiled.

Hear that, Luke? She thinks you're handsome, he said happily.

Char!

He chuckled a bit, sitting near Nina.

Th-thanks for inviting us, he smiled a bit nervously.

Nina smiled at Kyte "its fine, you want some food?" she asked, tossing him a bag of crisps as she sat by the fire.

He blinked, catching the chip bag and looking at her.

Uhm...are you sure? Th-thanks...

He smiles gently, and started eating some of them.

So...what are you doing in Kanto?

"I just came over from Hoenn today, I came to explore and see what adventures I could have here" said Nina with a soft smile as she watched the crackling flames of the fire, the flames reflecting in her eyes.

Kyte smiled as Nina explained that she came all the way over from Hoenn just this very day, saying that she came here for the adventures that she could find here. He watched her smiling as the firelight gleamed off of her eyes.

Without thinking much before saying it, Kyte said, Are all Hoenn girls this pretty...?

It only took him a few seconds after that to realize what he had just said, though. He suddenly got up, putting up his hands.

I-I mean! Uhm...not to say that...I just thought...oh god...I...

He got really flustered, before turning to leave, knowing she'd probably want him to.

Nina blushed a little and grabbed his hand, pulling him back "depends, what do you define as being pretty?" she asked smiling.

Kyte blinked as Nina caught his hand, making him turn around by pulling him back, and asked what he defined as pretty. He blinked, sighing. He had already been caught, so he might as well tell her.

Okay, so, I kind of lied...I didn't come here because I thought I should go on a walk...I actually followed you here. I-I'm not stalking you or anything! he quickly said. But...I thought...well...I thought you were really beautiful and cute...so...I guess I've been trying to ask you out...but I've never really done that before...

So...since I'm probably a creepy stalker now, I'll just leave...

Nina smiled softly at him "please don't leave, I like you and I feel that if I get to know you more it might bloom into...something else" she said.

He blinked gently, turning around yet again as Nina smiled and begged him not to leave, saying that she actually liked him and that if she got to know him more, that they could possibly become more than friends. Kyte blinked, clearly shocked, before grinning happily.

Are...are you serious?! ...did I just get a date?! he asked, excited.

Nina chuckled at his excitement "well you have a friend, maybe not yet a date" she said as she looked back to the fire.

He smiled, knowing he was acting like a little kid on Christmas morning, as Nina said he had a friend, but might have to wait a bit on the date part.

That's fine with me...a friend is good to have. I'm actually from Kanto itself...and...I need to go around the world to beat someone very important to me.

Nina nodded "I'd be happy to help you with that" she said with a smile as she began preparing dinner.

Kyte smiled at Nina as she said she'd be happy to help him accomplish his goal of defeating Crisis, and started cooking a meal. He was happy Nina was willing to give him a chance to try and get to know each other, and that he had gotten so lucky on his first try.

So...you want me to travel with you, then? I need to get the badges in every region.

Nina nodded "I can be your guide around Hoenn, and I've spent years picking up survival skills" she said calmly as she began making a speedy meatball stew for them and their pokemon.
