Jay turned her attention to Will, "Uh, sure. Here." she handed him down the sketch pad she had been working on as it was almost full and cocked her head, "how did you see that from there?" she asked curiously. She was aware that they all had powers but she didn't know what kind of powers could make it so you could see over her shoulder when she was up in a tree.

Rain looked from Sage's team to hers. Everyone was so tense, and didn't really seem to like eachother. Cheshire was the perfect example of a very crabby kitty, Nightmare seemed in his own little world, Will seemed to be fine, Zack was just off, Rebecca wasn't very social, and Jay was, well, Jay. She sighed. This was going to have to be a miracle to work, and evne then, she didn't really know how long the peace would last.

"The girl in the tree is my Second-in-Command, Jay. Zack is the only guy right now, and Rebecca has all the food."

As for powers, she was a little unsure. She knew most of what they could do, but they weren't as obvious as anyone else's. Rebecca was a half demon, Zack an experiment that had gone rebel, and Jay was half bird. I guess I have a lot more profiling to do. As for she herself, well, she knew some stuff, but the rest is just messed up. As of lately, she had discovered a knew power. It took a lot of strength, but she was getting a little more use to it.

Jay looked down at the person who was now holding her sketch book. "So that's what you do huh? Must be fairly difficult to fight against you then." she thought aloud. She looked at the rest of the group. She didn't know how this whole thing was going to turn out but figured she might as well try to get along with some of the people here. "So, what's your name?" Jay asked, she wasn't very good with names so she probably wasn't going to remember it the first time.

Karrmy arrived and immediately felt uncomfortable. She saw JaK and Cheshire, and many people she hardly knew at all. Karrmy smiled at him and waved at Cheshire before sitting down and looking directly at Rebecca, the girl she knew from the original Titans Team. "I had thought this would be more exciting. It's boring huh, Rebecca?"

ooc: So, seeing as how Zack's weapons are HUGELY integrated into both his story and character, I had kinda pretended the whole mall thing didn't happen, though I can go back to continuing that storyline for now. Though don't expect anything positive from him...

Ic: Zack stood zombielike. He just stared straight ahead. While he wasn't usually the neatest guy around, his clothes seemed especially dingy, as if he hadn't cleaned them in a while. His hair, normally slicked back against his skull, was messy and unwashed. The dark circles under his eyes made it obvious he hadn't slept in at least a few days, and every now and then his right eye would twitch. His right hand constantly twitched, as if he were about to reach for something that wasn't there. Anyone who knew him would immediately notice the absence of his signature weapons.

Rain looked over at Zack. He had been so off lately, she was waiting for him to snap. She was really worried about him. Maybe there was someone around that could help him.

Zack didn't notice either of them. His lips appeared to be twitching, but closer inspection revealed he was whispering something, barely audible as a sound, let alone any distinguishable words, over and over. His eyes seemed glazed over, and he didn't respond to anything going on around him.

Rain walked over, slowly, trying not to startle him. She touched him lightly on the shoulder, and whispered:

"Zack?"

Zack jumped, panic spreading across his face. His grin became almost a grimace as he reached for his knife. He froze when his hand fell across empty air, and the whispered phrase grew loud enough to hear as a dull murmur, but was still unrecognizable. His eyes darted from side to side and he did something he had never done before in his life. He took a step back.

Great, real smart, Rain! Rain thought.

"Zack, you're Ok. It's Rain, no one's gonna hurt you.

She was tensed, waiting to see if he would try to attack. If he did, she would have to see about phasinf through him again...

(Yeah, but Jay has a bad memory for faces and the names that go with them.)

Jay looked over at Zack wondering if he was going to be alright though she still sat in the tree. It was bad enough that every one was tense and Cheshire probably hated them all, they really didn't need Zack going crazy on them. She cocked her head wondering what it was he was saying.
