Powers:
Mind control: The Queen is a psychic of such power, that given enough time, she can take over any mind and control a person like a puppet. The stronger the will of the subject, the more time it takes to take them over however. Your average human is almost instantaneous, but your average hero takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours and is completely dependent on the person. She must have eye contact and therefore line of sight to do so, however once someone is under her control, they remain so as long as the Queen is conscious or until she decides to break the link. If a link is broken for any reason, she will have to re-establish it. Additionally, if a person is unconscious, she can take over their mind without eye contact, but it takes roughly twice as long as it would normally. Once she begins taking control of someone, both are frozen in place until the process is complete, however this can be interrupted if something breaks their eye contact. The Queen can control any number of people, however she has a harder time taking over and controlling people who are insane. She cannot control non-organic people such as robots, etc.

*note: This character's abilities are for story line purposes ONLY. She is NOT under ANY circumstances to be used to randomly take people over for the heck of it. If she is controlling someone, it is part of a plot line, and anyone who's character is under her control needs to have given their express permission.

Weaknesses:
Non-combatant: First and foremost among her weaknesses, the Queen's body is that of a ten year old girl. In no way, shape, or form can she put up any sort of a physical fight. However she is usually surrounded by those under her control, who do her fighting for her.

Takeover time: She must either have an unconscious victim, or she has to maintain eye contact while taking someone over. In addition, this process takes time and she is vulnerable during it.

Difficulty with insanity: If you think of someone's mind as a physical object, and the state of that object as their level of sanity, you can see why she has a hard time taking over and controlling someone insane. For example, a vase is easy to hold. But if it's been shattered, it becomes much harder to hold all of the pieces.

Range: The Queen must remain within a mile of her victims in order to maintain her link. In addition, the farther away a victim is, the more likely a strong enough willed person is to break free. As such, she rarely sends them out farther than roughly four thousand feet. (5280 feet in a mile)

L.A.W.: Technically not a weakness, but the Queen is under L.A.W.'s control. She follows their agenda, and therefore is rarely seen at all and never seen in public.

Skills/Strengths: Ultimately, the Queen's strengths lie in those she possesses. As often as not, she is paired with the Rook (Click here for profile), whom L.A.W. occasionally places under her command. When she controls the Rook she designates his targets and therefore his inability to tell friend from foe is negated, however it takes more effort to control him than most, and therefore while paired with him she usually only has one or two other "servants."

Habits/Quirks: The Queen tends to see others as "playthings," and will occasionally intentionally draw out a battle to keep the "fun" going.

Personality: The Queen rarely speaks, and when she does, it tends to be through others. She usually simply watches over the battle from her throne with a vacant stare.

History: For the most part, nothing is known of the Queen's history. She, like the other chess pieces, is a human weapon made by the U.S. Government subdivision L.A.W. However, there are rumors that she was once the Rook's only daughter, back when they were just ordinary people...
