Grounded by a Fateful Night (Hotwire then anyone else)

Ayumu sat in her room of the SVR base, staring at her TV, she gave a sigh, remembering to that fateful night where she had almost been killed by Tim, thankfully Steampunk had been there to save her, before that she had nothing, living on the streets simply selling her ice ornaments to get a scrap of food, but then Steampunk had taken her under his wing, provided for her everything that she could wish for, shelter, food, he even became a father figure to her...

But times change...she had killed the scientist who had tortured her for those long, excruciating months, all her anger, all her sorrow, finally satisfied with that one killing...then there was Senshuken, the one who lead her to find her long lost older brother Yuukan, he had made sure she was okay, she was finally starting to get her life back on track, she finally had someone who she could actually call her family, then of course only recently did Flint come into her life, her boyfriend, the love of her life, she finally felt that her life was becoming perfect, after all the suffering that she had been put through, things were finally starting to look up, that and the fact that Tim and Grace were helping her gain better control of her powers too.

And this is where we encounter a problem you see, now that Ayumu has this happiness in her life, she has no reason to be vengeful, or evil, or take part in anything of any sinister nature...she just couldn't go along with what Steampunk had planned anymore, she just...didn't feel evil anymore, of course she would never become truly good, she would still have a little piece of evil in her heart...but she had no reason to cause anyone misery anymore.

That's when Ayumu decided to start packing her things, taking everything that she had bought herself, opening the window, she knew for a fact that Steampunk wouldn't simply let her abandon SVR, so she had to try do it sneakily, looking out to the full moon she quietly creeped out of her window, her possessions in a bag-pack on her back, she tried her best to make sure she wasn't heard, but out of all the times that she had snook out before...THIS was when she slipped up, falling from the window and landing on the ground with a loud thud, thankfully it hadn't been a big drop but it had still been very painful, hearing the foot-soldiers she quickly tried to hide against the wall, hoping that they wouldn't spot her in the shadows before she closed her icy blue eyes, partially in pain and partially in fear.

Steampunks soldiers had alerted him to the fact that ayumu was attempting to leave... with bags. This was unacceptable.

He went out and began searching with his soldiers.

Ayumu heard the unmistakable footsteps of Steampunk, putting a hand over her mouth to try and quieten her breathing, she sat in the darkness of the outside of the base, sitting there as if frozen, she didn't know what Steampunk would do if he found her, all she knew was that it'd be bad, she waited...and waited...knowing any second he'd find her, she didn't dare move in-case she gave her position away.

One of the footsoldiers turned the corner, his red goggles illuminating the area... he spotted her and yelled for the others.

"Marvelous".

Ayumu heard the foot-soldier and started swearing many times in her head, but she just stayed there, still hurting from her fall, she just couldn't move, she was full of fear, slowly moving her hand away from her mouth and opening her eyes, staring at the floor with her arms around her knees.

Steampunk rounded the corner and saw Ayumu. He looked down at her as a few footsoldiers held their guns up and pointed them at her.

"Now what have we here?"

Ayumu just stayed silent, red marks over her visible skin where her body had slapped the ground, she then looked up to Steampunk then looked to the foot-soldiers with their guns, she then looked back to the ground silently "I...I hurt myself..." she said quietly "I...I can't move..." she uttered as if embarrassed.

Flint was walking to the docks chuckling madly at his new body. He was walking down to the docks to meet his girlfriend, Ayumu Ishimaru.

He saw her on the floor, along with a bunch of other... people? He didn't know. "HELLO ALL!" He said, chainsaw in hand.

"Well then. Come back indoors. You will be patched up there."

He motioned for some of his men to help her stand.

"We can then discuss why you tried escaping."

He then heard a yell as his soldiers turned and pointed their pistols in the direction of the voice.

"Who dares intrude?"

Ayumu suddenly looked up as she put her arms around two of the soldiers' necks "F-Flint?!" she said surprised, recognizing his voice, but...this was not the Flint that she normally saw "what happened to you?!" she asked very confused at his new appearance.

Flint looked at Steampuck, then laughed out loud, maniacally. He held onto his face with a gloved hand as he slowly stopped.

"Grell Sutcliff intrudes, sir." He says, then casually walks over to Ayumu. "I thought it would be fun to cosplay today."

"Well then. If you're an aqquantance of miss ayumu... men... stand down."

The guns went down.

Ayumu looked a little surprised and chuckled a little despite the situation that she was in "on tonight of all nights" she said before she looked to Steampunk "please don't hurt him...I promise to never try and escape again...just please...I love him..." she said, scared about what Steampunk would do to her boyfriend.

Flint laughed a bit louder. "Nononono, please, don't drop your guns on my behalf. Feel free to turn me into Swiss cheese, but if one of you get some of my blood that had dried up years and years ago on my suit or coat, We will have a slight problem." He nuzzles his saw.

"But seriously, shoot me if you want this place to be baptized in blood, dear sir." He chuckled, then looked to Ayumu. "Don't worry, I'm only acting in character."
