The Fancy Date (Kyte Uchiha & Amaggad)

"I'm seventeen in Kitsune years too, I lived in England for my childhood, as my mother had moved to England soon after sleeping with a man in Japan, she use to tell me that my father was an honorable samurai, but now I realize that he must have just been some drunk that she lured into her bed, as what usually happens since there are no male Kitsunes, so while in England I lived as a fox in a fox den which was just a den of other Kitsunes that were living as foxes, we would sometimes go into the nearby town to raid trashcans for food when wild food was scarce, there were also fox hunts too that we had to run from, so I lived in England till I was about 15, that was when I had heard about Jump City and so decided to move here, then I lived as a fox for about two years, watching humans and how to interact with them, and I managed to use my suburban scavenging to get food, the people here throw away really good food, so yeah then I tried looking for a job and thankfully this guy was looking for someone to work in his store, at first he thought I was just cosplaying but then I told him what I really was and since then I've been working at the comic book store, so yeah to answer your question, I'm seventeen in human years and also in Kitsune years, I'm quite young for a human but extremely young for a Kitsune." she said with a smile before she stared at Kyte for a few seconds, realizing she'd just told her whole history...and the fact she use to eat from trashcans.

"But I don't eat from trashcans anymore obviously, the store and Hive give me enough money to buy nice fresh food...I'm sorry for talking so much..." said Nina as she looked to the floor a little embarrassed about how she had talked so much.

Nina said that she was actually seventeen, which was not even a hundredth of the age of Kyte, and that, again, she was from England. She said that her father was supposedly an honorable samurai, but that she didn't believe it, from her tone of words. She revealed quite a bit about her life so far, even mentioning eating out of trash cans for food as a fox, which Kyte raised an eyebrow to. Afterwards, she got embarrassed, quickly explaining that she didn't eat trash anymore, and apologized for talking so much.

Don't be ridiculous, Nina. I find the events of your life as a kitsune quite fascinating. I am what people like you might call an...ookami. And if you don't know what that means, well...I suppose you'll find out. Kyte smiled. Really, don't apologize for speaking too much. If I was displeased, you'd know it.

I think I've asked enough questions, however. What do you wish to ask of me?

Nina thought for a few moments "hmm...I don't know really, there must be so many questions to ask but none comes to mind, I already know that your kind, charming and...all around perfect...I don't know what to ask...how about you just tell me a little about your past, although you don't have to if you don't want to, you seem like the person to have a few secrets so that's fine" she said before she noticed her food and started to eat it, taking another sip of the wine.

Nina said that she couldn't think of any questions, saying ookami were known as charming and all-around perfect. To that, Kyte raised an eyebrow. Curiouser and curiouser... She offered that he could tell her a little of his past. He chuckled. That hardly narrowed it down.

Nina, I've been on this earth for well over five thousand years. A little hardly has the same definition between us. He chuckled again. Hm...I was in Egypt for a time, a few hundred years. I was known as a menace among the pharaohs and their cities as an assassin in the night. I worked with a lord of chaos for that time, and had a lot of fun, until Nabu came along and beat the everliving crap out of her. He took a bite of his meal, chewing, and swallowing, without getting a crumb on him. You now know Nabu as Dr. Fate.

After that, I went back to Japan. It had changed, of course, with samurai and the shogunate. I served as a powerful samurai for a time, and then became a ronin. My travels led me elsewhere. Any questions so far, Nina?

He sipped the wine.

Nina stared at Kyte listening to his every word before she shook her head when he asked if she had any questions so far before she cut up her food and ate a piece then drank some of her wine, loving the time that she was spending with Kyte, he seemed so gentlemanly and it seemed like he had seen so many things "so you actually spent time in Japan? That's amazing, I've always wanted to visit Japan to follow my roots, from what my mother has told me its beautiful in places but also chilling and scary in others" she said with a smile, her mother having told her various rumors and folklore about Japan, seeing at her species were just thought as mere folklore Nina's mother taught her about other folkloreish beings that actually existed so Nina was incredibly interested in Japan and her heritage.

Nina indicated that she didn't have any questions for him, but marveled at the fact that he had visited Japan. She said she had always wanted to go there. Kyte smiled.

Well then, Nina, tell you what. If you actually procure me the files, I will take you there. And don't worry, we'll take a quite scenic route.

Since Nina had stopped talking, Kyte supposed it was time to move on with the topic.

Well, moving on...after my time as a wandering ronin, I joined a clan of ninja- which as you may already know is quite a flip, but I prefer to have various areas of expertise. I ascended in the ranks of the clan until well after the crumbling of the shogunate. I mastered all of their techniques- well, nearly. There's still quite a few sensei I have to teach me, but it's exceedingly difficult when your strength and speed is a cut above men in their prime.

Nina's ears pricked up when Kyte told her that he'd take her to Japan, a rush of excitement quickly ran through her body at the chance to visit the place where her heritage lived, especially with Kyte, this thought made her smile with joy and her heart skip a beat, now she was more determined than ever to get the files, she then listened to him silently as he told her about how he mastered ninja techniques, her eyes seeming to sparkle with admiration, she seemed to be falling in love with Kyte every moment that he spoke.

At the mention of him being able to take her to Japan, Nina fell very silent and was just smiling, looking as if she were watching a flower open its petals. Kyte smiled gently.

So...is there anything else you'd like to know about me?

He finished his food, and then his wine.

Nina shook her head "all that you've told me is amazing, everything that you've done is so interesting, its made me all the more happy to be with you...and I want to tell you something..." she said before she brought a hand up to her chest, feeling her heart beat softly through her chest "I know that we've only recently met, so I understand if this is too sudden or you feel that I'm being too forward...but...I feel like I should tell you anyway, even if you don't feel the same way..." she said before she looked to the floor and gave a nervous sigh before she looked up to Kyte "I...I think I might be falling in love with you...the things you've told me tonight, the places you have been...the way you treat me...its...what I've always dreamed of as a child...my prince charming..." she confessed as she smiled and blushed lightly before her smile quickly faded and she looked away "but I completely understand if you don't feel the same way about me...after all you are a being of great power and so may never be interested in getting involved with a lesser being such as I" she said with a small frown, she then just looked to the floor, trying to hide her sadness at the thought but she wasn't able to do it very well.

Nina said everything Kyte had told her was amazing, and that all he had done was interesting. Then Nina said that she had a confession to make. She said thought that they had only recently met, that she felt as if she was falling in love with him. She said that he was a person she had always dreamed of with what he had experienced, and said that he was like her 'Prince Charming." She also said she could understand if he didn't feel the same way about her, saying he was a higher being. He smiled slightly.

Well, I don't know if I love you yet...but, he rose from his seat, stretching, That's what dating's for, right? He yawned a bit, before smiling at Nina. I don't go out with a woman after the first date. There is, however, something I can do.

Nina finished her food and looked up to Kyte curiously "and what would that be?" she asked curiously as she finished her glass of wine and stood up, quickly adjusting her silver necklace, the charm that was attached was hidden under her dress.

Nina was curious, standing up with him. No sooner than she finished adjusting her necklace did Kyte wrap his arms gently around Nina's waist, and then press his lips to hers softly, kissing her gently for a few seconds. After a bit, he broke the kiss, gently smirking.

Until next time, Nina. He then walked over to her friend's table, leaning down with a grin, as his eyes turned to a gently glowing red. The next time you wish to spy on me, you might as well sit at the same table. Enjoy your meal.

Kyte then took his leave, making sure he wasn't followed.

Nina stood there surprised after the kiss, her face bright red before she gently touched her lips where Kyte had kissed her and smiled shyly "my first kiss..." she whispered, although it was only for a few seconds her memories helped her savor the feeling of Kyte's lips against hers, her heart fluttering in her chest before she soon snapped out of her trance-like state then looked over to Manic "see? I told you he was one of us, I guess I'll see you at Hive then" she said before she walked to the door and walked home, smiling at the night sky as she started to walk home "hello stars..." she said happily as she walked towards the comic book store, starting to think what she'd do once she got home.
