Crocodile Hunters (Amaggad)

So it seems most of the Titans were already up to something today. Well, Spyra wasn't. Not many missions that required recon, or a stealthy approach. Leaving Spyra rather idle when it comes to missions lately. She had just been up on the roof of the Tower. A near invisible state as she blended into the evening sky. Hearing a voice from the communicator brought a smile to her face; sounded like her type of mission.

"On my way"

Spyra would say before phasing down through the Tower. Soon arriving, she dropped down from the ceiling to the floor. Landing on one knee, a crisp landing. She stood up, a smile as she folded her arms across her chest. It was just the two for this one.

"You called?"

"Sure beats hanging around here all day, I'm game"

Though when they reach the sewers... that'll be strange. Spyra had used the sewers as a shortcut to places many times before. She had a good idea of where she was going down there. But... if she gives off that vibe of knowing such a wretched place, well... that'll make her seem weird, too weird.

You know what stinks? The Sewers. Tara can prevent them from walking through slush and poop, but she can't mask the smell. Well, maybe she can. But at the moment the smell was atrocious. It was dark down there, really dark. The only light came from the small beams that weer able to pass through tiny gaps near the various man hole covers.

"Erm, well first a light might be go-..."

Spyra had stopped mid sentence at the sound of some rumbling further into the sewers. A small sigh, she spoke once again.

"We know our way now... wherever that came from"

So the two crept closer to the edge once more, Spyra leading and peeking round first. But this time... there was nothing there, it was gone. Turning back to Tara, Spyra didn't bother lowering her voice now.

"It's... gone..."

Rather than hide, Spyra stepped round the corner for a better look.

"It was right here, like a minute ag-"

Just then a large hand would claw at Spyra, hitting her and sending her into the sewer wall. She hit it with a thud, falling down on all fours. That caught her off guard. Looking up, she saw what had hit her, and what herself and Tara were now up against.

Well look at that. Whilst Tara can fight from a distance against this guy, Spyra was going to have to go in close, hand to hand combat is all she has. From those blasts, the Croc had began to move towards Tara, giving Spyra an opportunity to get to her feet. She did so, feeling the effects of the first hit still, but she couldn't let it hold her back or even worse may happen. Running at the Croc now, Spyra leapt in the air to deliver a kick to the back. He barely stepped forth from that move, but swiped with his arm as he turned around. Spyra narrowly ducked under before going on the attack again. But as she ran at him this time, Croc was ready and scooped her up in his hand, squeezing her tight. A growl or sorts, he launched her threw the air at Tara. Luckily for Tara though, Spyra phased through her, hitting the floor herself and skidding along. She pulled herself back up again as best she could; they needed a plan.

"You're going to have to take this guy, all I can do is distract"

Tara was in trouble keeping the monster at bay. Spyra NEEDED to help. She had disappeared for a few moments, appearing again beneath Croc who she pulled down into the floor as she was in a phased state. She left the Croc so that only his waist up was above ground. Spyra floated up from the floor, standing beside Tara now.

"That's about it..."
