The purging of Grimmy's restaurant (Open.)

The mightiest blazes start their life as the smallest of sparks, growing larger as more fuel is consumed and leaving only the purest of ashes behind to promote the rebirth of something far greater.
The Order of the Fallen Saint had long ago been founded on this creed, and it's newest leader had taken the words far more to heart then any other.

High Inquisitor Hankan Sha, born and raised in the Chapel of the Fallen Saint, stood before an Italian Restaurant that was one of the sources of the dark aura that surrounded the city he was currently standing in. While in the past the Order had only dealt with symptoms of the corruption that plagued this world such as demons invasions and insane warlocks, the new Order was going to going to purge the taint at the source and be done with it altogether. But in order to purge the world of filth, first you have to purge one country. And in order to purge a country you had to start with one city. And in order to purge a city, you had to light a fire somewhere.

Hankan entered the restaurant. He was not alone.

While Hankan was dressed in the armor of an Inquisitor, which was basically a white t-shirt and white pair of pants with pieces of pure white plate armor placed in just the right places to give him maximum protection without restricting his movements, the two who entered with him were completely armored from head to toe, the whiteness of their armor almost blinding to look at, not a single piece of the person underneath visible. Both Celestian's were armed with the holy weapon of choice of the new order: The brimstorm flamethrower.

As the door to the Restaurant closed behind them, Hankan turned around to jam the door shut with a rather strange looking knife. Without warning, he began to hear the Brimstorms ignite and screams come from behind him as his men opened fire on the staff as he had ordered. The place was tainted, and since they spent most of their lives here they had become too tainted to bother trying to save. So he had ordered their destruction to save time and effort. The purge had began.

*Ten minutes later.*

The first stage of the purge had been successful, if somewhat harder then expected. While the members of staff who had been in the restaurant serving the customers had been put to the torch with great ease, the push into the kitchen was met with surprisingly heavy resistance from the staff, who had armed themselves in an attempt to save themselves. Even with heavy armor, the powerful brimstorm's and the training that had been given to them, it took the arrival of the two other members of this Celestian squad who had entered at the back of the restaurant and had sealed that exit off before the staff's will to fight could be broken, followed shortly by their deaths.

Hankan stood alone in the front of the Restaurant as his men moved the customers who had been there into the backrooms. All four of them looked the same, with the exception of two who's armor had been heavily dented after the push into the kitchen. In a few moments, he was going to go into the back rooms and perform his duty as an Inquisitor of the Order. The smell of burnt flesh hung in the air as the lights were turned off, hiding the scene of carnage from the sight of passers by.

Slowly, Hankan turned, and entered the back rooms...

(I'm going to assume there's a guard outside. =D, imma also PM you the stats and stuff of the FF Fleet. Make a topic about your minion guys too. So we know how they look and stuff. Also cant do much, since my main char is somewhere else. So I guess I'll just give you guys a reason to be either more zealous.)

Veteran Scout Leon was walking around in his seemingly civilian clothing. He smelt burnt flesh from a mile away. Coming from the restaurant. He sighed. He walked to the outside guard, he was wearing white armor. Leon was just a tad bit taller then him. He tapped his shoulder,
"Uh, sir, what is going on here?" Leon asked.
"There was a chemical fire inside, the fire burnt a lot of the chicken hence the odd smell...We went in there and cleared it out, were a new department of the firefighters." The guard said, the voice was mechanical and the person inside the suit didn't say it. Unfortunately for him, Leon knew the smell of burnt human flesh. The guard turned around and Leon decloaked his suit, and snapped the guard's neck.
"Bad move." Leon said, he took out his spear and hefted the body. He stabbed the body, and pinned it to a nearby wall. Leon took out a can of spray paint and sprayed a warning near the body in black ink. He also placed some cameras hidden in the shadows.
Leon cloaked his suit again and speed walked away, hands in his pockets, whistling. He would be long gone by the time his buddies found the body.
Leon would have to report this to the ship commanders.

Fifteen minutes...that's all it took. Fifteen minutes for inquisitional debriefing to prove that those who had eaten in this corrupted and cursed building had become tainted and cursed themselves. What remained of them was left in the freezer, burns robbing them of identification.

After his men had searched the rooms for any more accused and found nothing, Hankan had gathered them in the kitchen. Standing before him, they said nothing as their vow demanded of them. For the first time since entering the building, Hankan spoke only two words. " Burn it.". No other words needed to be said. As the Brimstorms unleashed the fires of hell they were named after, Hankan had left the kitchen, removed the bolt on the back door, and walked out into the alleyway to find the acolyte he had ordered to stay on guard there dead and being held in the air by a spear. Reading the message left in black ink for him, Hankan sighed as he raised a hand up in a fist. Flicking his pointer and middle finger out at the same time, the alleyway suddenly exploded in a wave of fire for a split second.

Once the wall of flame had died out a split second after being created, the alleyway was covered in ash, incarcerating everything in it...expect for one spot. The only part of the alleyway that didn't have ash or soot on it was a circle exactly three feet wide and across, in which stood Hankan. Someone had murdered an agent of justice, and Hankan swore that this insult would not go unpunished.

As the soot and ash that was on door fell off as the door was opened from the inside, the Celestian squad left the restaurant burning, only moments away from lighting up the surrounding streets like a candle, they wordlessly followed their leader away and vanished into the quickly falling night, leaving nothing but ash and scorch marks in their passing.

One place down, many more to go.

Leon decided to investigate the place, even though it was on fire. Some civilians were surrounding the place,
"Hey! Nothing to see here, go away!" He said, he showed a fake officer badge, they bought it, and left, but not without some videos and pictures. The firefighters would soon be here, and the cops. He didn't want to be here when they arrived. When he was sure no one was around, no one important, he decloaked his armor, and took a scan of the fire. He took a picture of it and sent it to the Octavious Stealth Cruiser, they received and began to discuss it with the other ship commanders. He found a nearby bench and sat there, looking at the fire, he wondered who would want to do this. Who was the guard he killed, and why were they there. He thought of many possibilities, and came to a conclusion. He didn't know. He walked around back, to the ally, and found it chock filled with soot. There was a clean circle that Leon took pictures of, he walked back to the front. He began to walk away slowly, his mind wandering off with questions.

Kira skidded around the corner, her fist sized claws easily slicing deep groves into the road so she could keep her footing. She let her momentum fall and progressed at a walk, transforming part way back into a human. She kept her claws and slightly extended muzzle, along with her heightened senses and extreme strength. She was also rather fury, but that couldn't be helped.

Silently Kira stepped up to the former restaurant of her likewise former lover. It was still fully ablaze, but there was nothing Kira could do about that. Everyone inside was dead, the howling thoughts in her head commanding her to rush inside and feast on the still burning flesh of those poor people told her so.

Clamping down on these thoughts, Kira closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, letting the scents blast through her. She ignored the burning flesh and scent of the fire however, instead exploring what else she could sense. She didn't recognize any of the scents in the area. There was a bunch that had obviously been inside the restaurant only moments before it caught fire. Possibly the ones who had started it? There was also other scents, mixed up with the pheromones of fear and excitement and awe. Obviously civilian observers. Someone must of been here before her though cause none of those civvies were any near here anymore either.

Kira opened her eyes. It was odd that Mg wasn't here already, but it didn't really matter, Kira had gotten good at exploring crimes on her own these past few months. Wordlessly the wolf girl made her way around to the back of the restaurant where an odd smell was coming from.

Her eyebrow rose at the alley full of ash. Her nose could tell her that this wasn't normal fire, it was slightly too arid. The random clean circle in the center of the alley convinced her that it was a someone not a something that had done this.

Kira turned her head and thought about pursuing the scents that had obviously been the ones to start this fire. But there was a large number of them, their scent was failing fast, Mg still wasn't here, and Kira was starting to get a headache from the wolf struggling to get out of her mind. All these things adding up to one sure fact.

"This is not going to end well."

Kira sighed and tried to fix in her mind the direction that the scent was blowing in. She'd wait till Mg got here before she pursued the evil doers. There was just to many of them, they had too much fire power for her to handle on her own. Wolfy her could take many things, but fire was not one of them.

Xzuk was walking calmly down the alley with his last slice of pizza in hand and stopped to smile for a moment, there was snow falling from the sky. It was amazing. There was rarely snow in the city this time of year. For a moment, he was happy, almost excited, then his senses came back.

Wait a minute...

He snatched at one of the floating pieces of snow, it didn't turn to water like it should have. It instead left a gray smudge over his hand. Ash. Something had burned the building to a point of falling cinders. Whatever burned it down wasn't natural. HE noticed black charr marks on the alley and looked down to his feet. He was standing in a three foot wide circle. The only place that wasn't burned to a light crisp.

"Great... A Pyromancer... and the Iceman... What're the odds?"

He smiled again and walked towards the ashes again and saw what was left of Grim's restraunt, Kira, and Gray. They were investigating what was left of the crime scene. He laughed a little to himself and started searching the alley for anything more he could find. Nothing. Not so much as a foot print. He turned towards his former team mate and snuck up behind her and sonic poked her in the back of the head.

"It was Colonel Mustard, in the dining room with a lead pipe! So... Where's Colonel Mustard?"

He smiled and gave her a hug.

Mg transportation to Grim's restaurant was herself of course, but she seemed sluggish as she ran out of the tower after Kira had bolted. She hadn't really had all that much to eat in the past few days and figured she was just low on energy. It was a good idea that she stayed at the tower and found something to eat but with two of her friends in the area, that wasn't going to happen.

She walked down the stairs, conserving the energy she had left until she needed to transform and fly. With being careful, Mg started to feel really uneasy about being this slow while Kira went to the restaurant ahead of her. Who whose what or who could be there since the building was on fire. With a heavy sigh, Mg transformed into a hawk and glided on the currents of wind toward the restaurant.

After circling the building twice, Mg flew to the ground where Kira and Xzuk were. She looked at both of them, surprise on her face from the building and seeing that Xzuk was here. It seemed like one titan coming back to the old tower made others come back as well. She stayed silent though, not wanting to really say anything in fear of them finding out why it took her so long to get her butt over here.

Gray had gotten sidetracked, capturing a terrorist, stopping a grenade from blowing a couple cop cars up, saving the six hostages, and attempting to hide his face from the public. The news crews obviously captured the event though. Gray ran all the way to Grims restaurant, without fully realizing that a car filled with the terrorist's buddies, was chasing him. He stopped and saw Xzuk, with two others. He recognized one as Kira, as Grim kept on talking about her. However, Gray did not know this was Grims restaurant. Behind him, the car chasing him sped up to around 120 MPH, Gray heard the growl of the muscle car, and Gray created an armor of ice. The armor was angular and jagged. He crouched and put his arms in front of his face, making a wall. The car smashed into the armor, but the armor did not even move, nor crack, the car on the other hand was totaled. The people driving the car were injured, but managed to get their guns and fire on Gray. Gray turned his hand in to a giant fist and smashed the car multiple times, killing the terrorists inside, and flattening the car. Gray then melted off his armor and said a prayer to them.
"May you find peace in the death you sought." He whispered.
Gray turned around and said,
"Hi?" He put on a fake smile at the end.

First thing Kira knew about Xzuk arriving behind her was the sonic poke to the back of her head. She must of really been off her game, cause it wasn't until Xzuk actually spoke that Kira figured out who was behind her. Good thing Xzuk talked fast, or he wouldn't of had a head to talk with, Kira only just managing to stop her swipe for his throat at the last second. Instead grinning, she turned her swipe into a fierce hug.

"Haven't you learned by now not to sneak up on a wolf? Specially when there's blood on the air?" Kira laughed, extremely tempted to playfully bite Xzuk's shoulder. She settled for just hugging him that little bit tighter. It was as though some hidden signal had been given to all the old titans. What were the odds of them all meeting up today, yet alone outside another former titan's restaurant? It just seemed to good to be true.

Kira let Xzuk go, he probably needed to breathe sometime soon. Anyway the new scent on the air signaled Mg's arrival.

Bout time Kira thought to herself, brow slightly creased as to why it took Mg so long. She didn't seem hurt or distressed in any way though so it mustn't of been anything serious.

Kira was about to launch into another long babble asking how Xzuk had been etc, but the deep roar of a super car approaching fast distracted her.

Kira's head swung towards the source of the noise as the car came swinging around the corner, only to be stopped by some huge, and apparently indestructible, chunk of ice.

"Since when did Jump have so many elemental's?" Kira muttered to no one in particular. Her lip drew back a bit in anger however when the ice chunk, that turned out to be a man, clobbered the attacking gun men to death. That amount of force wasn't necessary! They were only human after all.

The man muttered something similar to a prayer, Kira's ears picking it up even though he was pretty far down the street, then turned and flashed them all a fake smile.

Kira stood undecided at how welcoming she should be to this guy. His scent told her that he was essentially good. But her nose had tricked her before, for if the man believed what he was doing was for the greater good then his scent would reflect his good intentions, even if those intentions were to destroy every living thing on the planet. Besides, this guy had just bludgeoned to death a bunch of humans. Kira at least had an excuse to use that amount of violence, as far as she knew, this man may actually be the bad guy and he may of even enjoyed the killing.

Kira rolled her head from side to side, stretching her neck. She'd let Xzuk and Mg handle this guy, she was probably to wound up from being so close to blood to be thinking clearly anyway.

He smiled and ditzed his way towards the alley again, he was happy to see his friends again, and then the Iceman made another appearance. He didn't approve of the treatment he gave the Extremists, but he wasn't looking to make an enemy at this point.

"Gray, Y'know, guns don't kill heroes. Reputations do. And that was just the kind of act that spreads a bad reputation."

He nodded his head dissapprovingly before returning to the ally and pointing at the circle he'd been standing in earlier. He was convinced it was a clue, but, when it came to solving a mystery, he was like the Shaggy of the crew. He could find helpful things, but two plus two would equal food.

"Take a look here and lemme know what you guys think. And, Mg, quit trying to be sneaky! I can hear you! All powerful in the world of sound, remember?"

He smiled and finished the last of his pizza before pointing to Gray.

"And, that's Gray Winters. A new Titan. Get to know him."

Mg kept quiet, listening to the roaring car going down the street until it had crashed into an ice shield. The treatment the ice man gave the people in the car was harsh and most likely not needed. Fear was the only thing needed to get rid of criminals and what the ice man did was far too criminal like for Mg.

She looked at all three of them as they came around her and Kira, her interest and reflexes weren't sparked at all by the new guy. She didn't really want to be around a killer no matter who it was the ice man had just killed. Mg had a hard time dealing with people like that and knew right away this wasn't going to go well at all.

"No matter what, I shall not stop trying to sneak up on you. One of these days I will scare the hell out of you because you couldn't hear me." Mg flashed him a smile which quickly went away. The pizza in his hand looked delicious and now she knew that she should of stopped somewhere to get something in her stomach. She didn't have that much energy left. But all she really had to do was stay by Xzuk and sooner or later, he would stop for some more food before the mission was complete. Which would mean that Mg could steal some of his food.

Gray said nothing until Xzuk said he was a new titan,
"So now I'm a Titan huh? Okay...? Also, note that they had Semtex Explosives in the trunk of the car, about 15 or so pounds of it, enough to light this neighborhood like a candle. They were suicide bombers, before they hit the trigger, I froze the explosives. Religion is a powerful thing, they were Jihad bombers. If I had let them leave, they would have bombed a more important target, maybe an airport filled with innocents. Kill few to save many. I'm sorta sure." Gray said, he looked at the smashed car and opened what was left of the trunk. There was a shattered block of ice. Inside one of the pieces of ice, was a piece of metal that said, 'DANGER: EXPLOSIVE' on it. He held it up.
"I'm sure of it now." He said,
Gray looked at the clean circle, he knew there was a fire manipulator here.
"There was a fire manipulator here." Gray said, he walked over to the building, and looked on the floor where the kitchen was. "Bullet casings, 7.92 MillerMeter bullets, there was resistance, lets see if we could find anything else..." Gray said, he began searching the place.

Kira had to smile at the way Xzuk spoke. He had a gift with words. Sometimes he exploited his gift and talked far too much... actually that was most of the time... but he had his moments of brilliance, and this was one of those. Kira felt much more at ease as Gray went onto explain why he had used such force. And if Xzuk thought he would make a good titan, then there must be something else to the guy aside from being a little heavy handed.

He seemed familiar somehow to Kira. It was in the way he moved, how he talked. But Kira was certain she had never meet him before, she'd remember his scent. Speaking of which...

"The dead bodies are downstairs in a sealed room, probably the freezer, the civilians went that way, and the bad guys went that way." Kira stated matter of factly. This eerie familiarization with this Gray guy was creeping her out abit, so much of her usual enthusiasm had disappeared, replaced with caution. That was probably why she had neglected to transform back fully into human form, not wanting to be without her trusty claws and heightened senses.

"Bodies? There were civilians in Grim's restruant? I thought it would have shut down after he left... Great... So, it's going to be one of those days...."

He sat on the curb and silently began to put some kind of a makeshift plan together. Obviously, someone had to track this new villain, which, he would love to do, but he didn't have the power or the knowledge of the power to do much when he found him. Gray was a better choice. Then someon had to alert authorities of the homicide without being arrested and taken in themselves... Which, he could do rather easily.

"So, Anyone got a plan? No? Okay, awesome. Neither do I. Just a suggestion. Someone needs to track this guy. I vote Gray. He's an elementalist too, so he will have some idea how to match up with this guy. Someone else should go with him, mainly because fire and ice usually end in Ice melting... He'll need backup."

He smiled and leaned his Back against the wall and waited for input from everyone else.

Mg stood completely still, watching all of them. Suicide bombers or not, she still thought that it was harsh to kill them like that. They could of most likely found out some more information that he didn't have before. But what's done is done and there's nothing that Mg could do about that. Right now most of her thoughts were concentrated on how much energy she had left.

She sighed out loud a bit, ruining her normal behavior. She couldn't help it anymore. All but the new guy knew her and she only hoped that with the time spent apart, they would forget how she usually acts. Somehow she doubted that her sigh would go unnoticed and it would be revealed later that someone was paying attention.

A plan was the last thing on her mind. She crossed her arms and looked at each and every one of them and then down to the ground. She hated not being herself right now.
