Ben and Julie's 'normal' life (Just Ben and Julie)

Ben stood for a sec and admired the star for Liev, but then heard Julie fall and as he went to check on her he saw the small figurines. He thought it was really cute actually and picked one up examining her craftsmanship before speaking.

"Guess someone doesn't get enough of me at home haha. Good thing were gonna change that."

"Oh stop it, your ego is going to suffocate me."

Julie let him keep that one and put the rest in her part of the chest.

"I know I'm the only one of us who actually daydreamed about the other" she laughed. This was relaxing. Just playful banter.

"Why would I day dream about you?"

Ben said at first, which was probably alarming to Jules until he cleverly retorted.

"When I dream it's the only time I ever get to myself, because otherwise, you're always on my mind 24/7. Every moment of every second.."

Ben then shot her one of his famous smiles before putting the figurine in his pocket for safe keeping.

Widening her eyes as if daring him to say more, her gaze softened at his second try.
"Close shave there, Tennyson. Dangerously. Close. Shave." she kissed his cheek, passing by and retrieving a hammer to put up a painting of the Tower.

"Mhmm, but I know you love me." she walked back to him and kissed him sweetly.

"Annnnd I know you love me...Soo much so, that you'll finish doing all this. While I go play air hockey with Scope, right?"

Ben said smuggishly while pretending to head for the door. He was joking of course about leaving Julie to do all the work herself.

"Hold it hotrod, I don't love you THAT much." she laughed.

Then she found something she liked very much...
"Hey Ben...is this what I think it is...? 'Bennys baby pictures....'" She pretended to read just to see his reaction.
In reality is was just an empty album. Well.
Near empty.

"Huh!?"

Ben quickly ran over to see what she had found and then face palmed realizing she couldn't have found those because he didn't have any baby photos of himself when he came though the portal.

"Boy am I stupid. How did I fall for that?"

She couldn't stop laughing, sitting on the bed.
"Oh babe...you're adorable..." she chuckled gesturing for him to sit next to her.
"Come here, I'm in a rare cuddle mood."
Though, actually, Julie was often in a cuddle mood.
Infact.
When she was not in xxx mood, she was either hungry or cuddly.
It was that easy.

Ben crawled into the now very messy bed with Cap upon request and pulled her close in his embrace. A smile upon his face as he climbed in and stared into the reflection of her eyes. After doing so they laid there, lovingly until he finally began to nod off.

His arms around her she just let him nod off, testing her eyes as well. Sometimes looking up at him though in thought. The whole time Julie had been thinking about Ben and the tower and about waking up to Ben every morning and how terrible it would be not to wake up to him and why did she even think that, horrible, ugh.
Her own mind didnt seem to like her very much.
Soon she was in a light slumber, not noticing when Ben awoke

As Ben awoke from his slumber he saw that Julie was sleeping peacefully. So cute, so blissful, like an angel in stasis. So of course Ben had to play a prank on her. That in mind, Ben went and found his super soaker from his day at the beach the other day where he saved a life guard from a shark attack as Ripjaws. Then began to whisper Julie's name until she opened her eyes after filling it water from the tap. His voice sounded so loving, so concerned, but the intentions he had in his head were oh so impure.

"Jules wake up...I think I wet the bed. Actually, I know I did!"

Ben then began to spray Capricious upon her opening her eyes. Yup, this is all she had to look forward to while living with Ben. Hope she could handle the experience, in it's infinite glory.

(ooc: be prepared, Julie is deathly afraid of water, that's what she was tortured with)

The moment she felt the water her entire body froze, a look of utmost terror on her face. Though one could plainly see in her eyes that she was miles away.
Since she had lost her electric power she had managed quite well to overcome her fear of water partially. She still couldn't swim or imerse herself in water. But showers were okay.
As long as she had the control.
Now, however, water was suddenly shooting at her and soaking her.
So every second of terror and torture were flooding her mind, triggered by the surprise.
Add her new illusion power to her fears and that was what you got. A terrified, tortured and screaming Julie. Thank God the walls were soundproofed. Though her screams weren't sonic, just pained.
Ben would very quickly notice and remember her fear of water, though she had never actually told him why she was afraid. Julie, understandably, didn't like to talk about it.
Seemed inevitable now though. Once she had managed to somewhat regain control over her mind she noticed a few tears in her eyes from the memories.
"Don't...Don't ever...not water...please..." she whispered, her body still rigid as stone, her eyes aimed straight ahead at the floor.

After spraying her a bit and instead of laughter receiving tears and ear piercing screams. Ben realized this wasn't fun, it was pure fear and agony for her and stopped. Afterwards Jules sat in cowardice and Ben quickly threw the super soaker away, thinking that had been a horrid idea in the first place.

"Julie, I'm so, so, sorry. I had no idea that water scared you like that."

Julie shook her head,
"I didn't tell you, you couldn't have known." she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to stop shaking.

"You know the goverment captured Rose and I when we were younger and I've only been free since I was fourteen." She wrapped her arms around herself.

"They tortured us. My torture was...dunking me in tanks of water and keeping me there. With an additional current of electricity." she closed her eyes.

"I really don't know what to say..."

Ben felt horrible, worse than horrible; dirt, no worse than dirt..a spec. Ben felt like a spec, smaller than he had ever been, as opposed to how he usually felt, which was larger than life or really the universe. He had made the one true thing he cared about here relive horrid memories of her past life and that...well that burned him up inside.

"So that's why you never talked about your past *clenches fist* I hate that happened to you Julie and believe me if I had known..."

Ben then felt down and depressed. This was why he did what he did, to keep things like this from happened to others.

"If I had been there, I-I-would've."
