Ten Times The Trouble! (Open)

Ben couldn't believe it, The Hat had just stood there and let the alien attack Ben. Ben of course could believe that the Hat wanted him dead and out of the picture, but you would think he would've killed that alien or at least taken some kind of action against it for how much he preached about helping the citizens from threats like them. He really wasn't going to help them at all; it was the Titans mess and they were going to clean it up themselves. Fine with Ben, as he said, they didn't want his help and they certainly didn't need it anyway.

"Capricious, are you okay?"

That had been a close call, Ben needed to be more vigilant from now on. If the Blue Lantern guy hadn't been here to remove that acidic blood from Julie she could've been severely hurt.

"Were not out of the woods yet, weve still got Fangface, Crossblade, and Hellkid to take out. Fangface is still a vampire with claws and fangs and Crossblade's still an extremely quick and good fighter. Even weakened, they're all still serious threats untamed, so which one do you wanna take guys?"

There was three of them and three aliens left, not including Teen Lantern who had flown into space at the moment, which meant each of them would get one. Except the Omnitrix was dead at the moment and Ben was a helpless human, something that never seemed to register to him. His Grandpa Max was also just a human, but back home had been an invaluable member of his team. Ben learned long ago, being human wasn't a weakness, it was one of his greatest strengths. One he would have to exercise right now, for no sooner had he seemed to ask that question two aliens came for them. Crossblade went for Capricious throwing spinning kicks and combination blows at her since he couldn't use his psybaldes at the moment or stick to walls.

Meanwhile, Hellkid attempted to leap on top of Ben, luckily the teen used his quick reflexes rolled out of the way just in time nd then made a mad dash for it as the demon followed in pursuit. Usually it would've thrown fireballs at him, but it's power was being suppressed so it settled for trying to leap on him. Ben had to admit he was a bit worried about Jules, but she could handle herself in a fight. Heck, she could definitely kick Ben's butt, so if anything he was the one to worry about right now.

Elsewhere, Fangface was about to take a deep bite out of the woman he had pulled out of her home earlier and was sitting atop her roof with the woman dangling in his arms with drool dripping from his fangs. It was almost as if the feral alien could not wait to taste the fresh blood from the tender young female. Alpha Knight or someone definitely needed to hurry or yet another casualty was going to be had that day.

"OhCrapOhhhCrapOHHCRAAAAP!!"

Ben continued to run for his life as the demonic alien gave chase; narrowly ducking a flying double hooved stomp as Hellkid collided with the neighborhood ice cream truck and dented the side of it nearly all the way in.

"COME ON, you stupid watch, WORK!"

Ben then yelled aloud as he slammed his fist down on the Omnitrinx and suddenly it rotated all crazily in a clockwork like motion. Then propped up and immediately transformed Ben by itself; his hair grew a fire red, while his face and skin turned orange like that of an oompa-loompa. His clothes shape shifted into purple alien robes and foreign warrior armor. Finally, his body grew 8 inches taller and all his features became more defined until the transformation was complete. Ben was no longer himself, but a new alien he immediately dubbed; Sunfire!

"Heyyy, this looks like whatever race Starfire comes from. Sweet! Now how do I fly...Up, up, and away!? No that didn't work....To infinity and beyond!...Awww, new alien, but I have no clue how to make it go---ARRRRGHH!!"

As Ben frantically flailed in an attempt to make his new Tamaranean alien fly up, it would seem Hellkid had the intention of taking him down. Suddenly from above the creature pounced a top the Titan and laid Ben flat out against the concrete. Afterwards the demon grabbed Ben and lunged him like a rag doll into one of the neighbor's white picket fence, putting a large hole in the side of it.

"Ughhh, ok...That's it, powers or now powers, I'm taking you out right here and now!"

Coincidentally, after being knocked through the fence, Hellkid immediately tried to capitalize and lunged towards the downed hero, only to receive a green energy blast to the chest just before reaching him. Ben had thrown up a fist fearlessly to meet the alien head on, and unknowingly through his courage activated his starbolt throwing ability. The blast in itself sending his opponent soaring across the yard, where it crashed and slid across the front lawn, leaving a line crater in it's wake.

"Lasers, huh? Cool."

Back at the battle between Sunfire and Hellkid, Ben was unleashing a super flurry of starbolts at his opponent, but Hellkid was quick and was able to avoid the barrage by using various object in people's yards for cover. Luckily, he couldn't fire back at Ben with fireballs though thanks to the Hat's influence. However, the alien was far from defenseless, for he went on the attack soon enough. The demonic alien made his charge towards Ben 10 and in mid dash leaped into the air for a high jump kick, but then again, in this form Ben was no pushover himself. The Tamaranean fearlessly raised his forearms to block and took each hoof to the chest as he covered them in an X-formation before grabbing them as he slid back a bit and then twirled around at high speeds, eventually letting go and sending Hellkid sailing into a parked vehicle. Now it was time to end it...

"I'm truly sorry, but I have to finish this."

Sunfire felt no joy or happiness or even any sense of victory in his next action. For this alien was and had been apart of him, so by destroying it, he was in essence purging a piece of himself from the world. Although, it had to be done for the safety of others and thus as the rogue alien form hit the vehicle Ben placed both palms together and then slowly pulled them apart forming a giant ball of glowing green starbolt energy and lunged it towards his foe. Now the attack by itself would not be enough to slay Hellkid, however, coupling the blast with the explosion of the car he had landed on once it ignited the engine and gas tank did the trick just fine. A plume of flames erupted upon impact and Hellkid with his defenses lowered thanks to the Hat was no more. A bitter sweet ending for Ben 10, but he had no time to mourn his decision, Fangface and Crossblade were still on the loose and he needed to check on his comrades.
