Xeno hit the wall hard, leaving an indent in it. He stood there in surprise and slightly stunned by the flash of brilliant green that had hit him full in the chest. It had hurt, possibly cracking a rib.. He began to climb our of his indent when the second blast hit him full in the face. This one pushing him down into the ground thanks to he high standing.

He laid on the ground for a moment, seemingly dead but soon got up. He actually did so rather lively. Not to bothered by the two shots though he was a bit sore. He looked about regaining his bearings he looked up at her and hissed. Not at all happy about how hard be had just gotten hit. His legs bunched under him and he jumped up to the ceiling. He then swept his tail at her legs to try and get her off the ceiling. This prey had caused enough trouble. He might have to go find different targets if this lasted much longer he was beginning to think that these two didn't have the right "food to effort ratio" going for them.

He Jumped away from the girl, which was so far the most significant giver of light, and stayed just out of sight. Seeing if he could get the two to lower their gaurd long enough for him try one last attack.

"Yeah, that should teach you to reconsider all people as being easy meals." Vector was on a roll, a rather good roll to be precise, since it wasn't a dinner roll, nor was it a barrel roll into the sewage below. The critter had moved outside the field of light her powers gave off and she sighed. "Tough bastard isn't it, left an indent right in the concrete. But hey, at least the bastard will think twice before leaping in at us again," which was as worrisome as Vector had originally thought that thought to be. So this was going to be one of those equal opportunity problems, since it was hiding just at the edges of the light and all it needed to do was tag her unconscious and foosh, there goes the glow.

But if it botched it up however, then it would probably eat another handful of pain. So there was the equal opportunity, the problem sort of went both ways, since she presented herself to be the biggest target, and possibly the most dangerous simply because she could punch like a truck, and shoot beams of pure physical hurt that also probably hit like a couple trucks. So either way, that put Vector into a rather worrisome mood but she couldn't really drop the light either, since then it could just grab her and drag her off for a snack..... Or worse.

And that was a thought she could have done without. "Yeah, okay that, that was a terrible mental image." Shivering softly she skate closer towards Jak and yawned. Of course, fear and adrenaline made a good painkiller. Suppressing relays to the brain that triggered it, but once it wore off? Yeah, there was a throbbing pain on the shoulder. "Ugh, what?" Instinctively, she touched a finger to her arm, pulling it away to reveal surprise surprise, blood. That thing did manage to snag her on the shoulder, well, at least it was better then having a perforated chest cavity, but the bleeding was beginning to be a pain. "Ya would by any chance, have any band-aids on you would ya, sparky?"

Vector spoke triumphantly as the alien creature scurried into the darkness. JaK on the other hand bent over a bit taking a deep breath. He had been sprinting when he was already out of breath after all. Then she skated over to him and tried to assure JaK that he would think twice about attacking them, Sage had to agree sadly.

"Get real...That thing is obviosuly a lot smarter than you're giving it credit for. He's not retreating because he's scared of our attacks, he's regrouping so he can strike again when we least expect it or maybe hits hoping we break apart so it can take us out one by one because together were proving too much a challenge. Either way, anything that can strategize and is as strong and deadly as that thing is an issue. So don't be so freakin happy that you hurt it, were in a very bad situation..."

JaK might've been acting a tad bit rude, but he was annoyed Vector was even down here. What's worse, he was even more annoyed that he was down here alone with no back up other than a girl who threw an insult at a beast that probably didn't even undertand what she was saying every time she opened her mouth. At least if they watched eachother's backs they were stronger, JaK had close quarters down and this girl obviosuly had some good long range shots. Plus, as long as she had that light they were in good shape, but the issue was JaK knew nothing of this creature and for all the knew it could be able to shoot acid or duplicate itself...

"Don't call me Sparky first off and keep up that light. I know it goes without saying, but I'm am very certain it doesn't like light too much...Ya know, preying in a sewer and all, so if we keep it at bay with a light source maybe we can press it into a corner."

JaK then noticed her shoulder as well and couldn't help but feel his more humane side surfacing. It also gave him a fairly good idea as to how to draw this thing out...

"Here, let me help you cover that up. Don't want you to catch anything in these sewers."

JaK then subsided his annoyance and de-armored himself, immediately removing his jacket afterwards and motioning to wrap it around the girls wound. In essence he was leaving himself unprotected, but the wink he gave her before he started to apply his make shift bandage showed that this is what he was trying to do. Put blood in the water such as an injured fish and a vulnerable seal and the shark should come running. Thus, by making them seem like they were having a moment of weakness they could draw in the creature.

Xeno circled them the whole time. Ready to strike his tail hung down to about half way down the wall before curving back up, just barely out of view. If he had SSS he would've been glaring. The prey he had before them had been so weak and these two had actually managed to hurt him, though that was mainly the girl.

He hissed loudly and the sound bounced around of course, being in a giant metal tube and as he continued moving around them he let out an earsplitting screech which caused the whole sewer ring loudly. It was just after he let the screech that he jumped for Jak coming from behind him. If he landed he would dig his claws into Jak's flesh and use his tail to knock back the girl as an attempt to keep her from interfering.

Vector looked at Jak and sighed, this thing wasn't really bothered by the light at least, it didn't look like it. Maybe perplexed, but not bothered. But it went without saying that it was still a major pain in her ass, giving her this shoulder wound and possibly wanting to eat her and all that, "you don't have to tell me twice that it's smart, that thing is telepathic or something. It told me it's name!" recalling when it told her it's name, Vector quietly hissed in Jak's face, irritated and feeling slightly pissed more likely than not about how he felt justified in berating her. "Damn thing can think alright, no doubt about that."

"Oh this, it's jus' a scratch, nothing big about it," she tried shrugging it off, but him reminding her of the bleeding slash on her shoulder only made the pain come back worse. "H-hey! I don't need any help from you, ya wiseguy!" she finally shouted as Jak wrapped up her wounds. Jeez some people just don't listen too well it seems these days. But she saw the wink and shrugged, whatever that was for she didn't really know or understand as to why he winked but it became clearer when xeno, yes, that was it's name, xeno, leaped from the shadows behind them both and instinctively, Vector threw up a green barrier of energy around the two of them.

The barrier was unique in that it did stop things from passing through it, but it only lasted a few seconds and here's the catch as to why; it stopped everything physical dead in it's tracks. If xeno so much as struck it with it's entire body it'd be frozen there for five seconds, unable to convert all potential energy in it's body into kinetic for the most basic thing around; movement. "Chew on this for a bit you spear tailed bug!"

As Xeno leaped for JaK with his claws extended and hissing from his double jagged mouth, JaK only had time to attempt to cover up while dropping down to a crouched position. However, unless stopped he was done for, which luckily it would seem the young girl got the hint and put up a barrier to block the Xenomorph in mid air. Perfect! Then from his knelt down position a mere moment after the alien creature was stopped he touched the ground of the sewer and absorbed a coating of the pipes that constructed the underground passageway.

"Speaking of tails!"

Directly following JaK coating himself in the suit of armor, as soon as the barrier dissipated he jumped up and grabbed Xeno by the tail and by using his enhanced strength was able to whip lash the alien forward as he tried to directly hurl the beast into the inner linings of the sewer. A ferocious cry echoing from JaK's mouth as he did this, for he was attempting to throw Xeno with all his might.

This was confusing, he was in midair, stopped. Not floating, he could feel gravity pulling him down yet...not falling. He attempted to move unsuccessfully and quickly gave up, realizing he was immobilized. Until of course he was thrown by Jak. Having been too distracted by the whole "unable to move to the point of being in midair" thing that he hadn't noticed Jak putting back up his armor and hadn't even noticed Jak grab his tail.

He hit the wall hard, surprised and still confused. It hurt, alot, the wall shook at the impact. Of course the metal wall split in a few places giving Xeno a few small cuts where the skin already stretched against his ribs got rubbed against sharp metal, though it wasn't sharp anymore. As Xeno got up a light hissing filled the air as smoke came off the metal where his blood had touched metal.

As soon as he was up he had made up his mind on the matter of either of these two being prey. It was a definite no. They were simply to much trouble and though he may have been able to wear them down over a day or two it simply wasn't worth it. He could find weaker, less intelligent things. He let out a hiss and ran; quickly disappearing into the darkness still hungry. He would have to eat some other time

They had beaten it back, proved that, without a shadow of a doubt you did not mess with people in any way, shape or form. Vector breathed with a sigh of relief, content with the thrashing they had given the creature for now. Looking at Jak with a shrug, Vector looked for a manhole cover, more interested at that point to get out of the smell of fetid water and rotting sewage as soon as humanly possible.

Vector was tired, exhausted and worn out from using so many high end kinetic blasts. Her usual hyper, over exuberant attitude was gone, replaced with what could be best described as a very short tempered casualness. "I'm gonna need to find a shower after this," rubbing her head with an unusually irate snap to her tone, Samantha looked to the nearest ladder that led upwards and made a beeline for it, glad that she was still alive and she didn't flip her utter shit, from using her powers so much.

Cause going ballistic is a very bad thing, dontcha know?

Latching onto the ladder, she began a slow climb up to the manhole cover before stopping, glancing over at Jak before hocking a loogie down at the ground. "You can keep lookin for the thing for all I care. Not my problem since I'm not getting money out of tagging and bagging it, just thank yous. I don't need thanks, I need food," she stated harshly as she pushed up on the manhole cover and slipped back out into the fresh, cold and clean air with a sigh. Her stomach growling.

Now she just needed to find a way to get some food, she could always pick on a few muggers, see if they had some spare cash laying around. Or she could always resort to her favorite pastime; Picking pockets. Which in all honesty, sounded safer then fighting a guy with a gun or a knife. "Now then, I just gotta go blend in with a crowd of people and start looting. Just hope I don't hit another snag."

(There we go, I posted finally and it's not my best work. But I managed to get something out of my brain at least.)

Ot: Ending it here.

After tossing the beast JaK watched it scuttle away into the darkness and was going to high tail it after the Xenomorph, but was unable to because Vector took away the only flashlight he had...Herself.

"Ey, what gives it's getting away!?"

In response the rather annoying teen through all of this just stated she was hungry and that she wasn't getting paid to chase that thing. So from here on out it was up to JaK to capture it. Well that just definitely crossed her out of the running to be given a Titans communicator, which JaK usually bestowed upon all meta-humans who aided him in a mission, however, he had already been kind of set against giving it to this girl due to her already being able to annoy the living hell out of him.

"Fine. Take your little skates and stay out of sewers next time then....Your Welcome for saving your #%$, by the way!"

JaK would yell back out to her as the manhole covering was moved and she exited the sewer line leaving him alone. Without a proper light source to aid him that thing was as good as gone, so instead Sage just hit the beacon on his intercom and waited for his hoverbike to come find him on auto-pilot. Why did he always have to be placed on the dirty jobs...Honestly, couldn't someone else be on clean up duty, just once.
