Deal With A Demon

Heya Senshuken, just thought we could clarify the plot over here so we could get people to help develop the basic plot or maybe get some more people involved. I think we have a basic plotline down so I'll start by laying that one down...

Isaac O'Ghadra, also known as Thr33, seeks out a way to undo what happened to him. He figures that he wouldn't be the way he was if he just lived a normal life in Salem and didn't go to the meeting. He finds Senshuken's character and makes some sort of deal to go back and change what happens.

The thing that we never really clarified was whether he actually goes back in time. Also, how is he unsuccessful?

The reason why we might need more people: I people waybe want to somehow get caught in the timeflux and have their character try to stop him from changing the timeline, maybe? NPCs as Isaac's old friends or witches/warlocks?

Input would help from anyone. Anyone interested in joining in? Development is needed...what do you think Senshuken?

I would be interrested in perhaps playing an NPC. What sorts of NPC's would be around in Salem?

Tons! Isaac's old best friend Abram (who's last name, I've never made up so..creative room!), he's the one that took him to the meeting that caused him to be cursed although he was unaware that the 'initiation' spell would go wrong and curses him like it did. You could also make up a friend of his that has no real powers, be another witch/warlock...um...those are some that come to mind.

Maybe you could be a demon NPC that tries to stop Isaac from corrupting the timeline.

Ooh! It might be cool to NPC a priest/detective that finds out about the cult! Maybe a blacksmith friend that tries to help with cool swordsman type moves.

Yeah, those are just a few off the top of my head!

The thing that I am trying to figure out is what Senshuken would do if such a request was given to him...

He isn't the sort to tear open the timeline for any reason due to the damage that such an act could cause.

Normally he would simply put Isaac in an illusion world in which he didn't attend the meeting and showed him how much worse off his life could have been, but I think Sen would use this chance to serve his own ends.

Recently, a rival faction of demons has moved onto Sen's turf in Steel City and he might just use this as a chance to get rid of the pests.

Instead of just putting Isaac into a dream world, Sen might just increase the range of the illusion to take up every sleeping individual in Steel City, creating a realistic but somewhat larger Salem.

This would give anyone currently in Steel City the chance to take part in this fun little trip down memory lane... and get to see a real witch hunt up close!

Thoughts?

Okay so Steel City is transformed into Salem for a night and anyone in Steel City can be a part of it because they'd just think it would be a dream or something? That's pretty cool!

Also, what is the price that Isaac has to pay to Senshuken? I don't know...he definitely wouldn't give his soul haha

I've invited Kyte Uchiha to take a look at this site. He has two characters who would fit right in with this story.

I don't know about the huge illusion thing. It's a great story idea, don't get me wrong. It's just that it's always wierd when something like that is done on a city-wide scale. There would be a lot of people who would have gotten involved that won't partake in this thread.

So, does Abram have powers, then?

Knowing Sen, all that he would ask is permission to use Isaac's body as a mortal shell after his death. No soul stealing needed.

@ Sen: Yeah I think Isaac would be okay with that price, althought I'm not sure if Isaac will ever die...one of his excursions after this might be successful...

@ Dar: I left it pretty vague in my profile about what the powers exactly were that the cult members had, but Abram definitely does have powers. Probably just mild super speed and strength...and some type of magic...I'm kind of imagining wind but I guess it can be your choice on what exactly.

@ Both: I guess the way that Sen does it is up to him ultimately...I don't really have any ideas on how he'd do it...

Maybe some sort of alternate reality thing? Maybe it all takes place in Thr33's mind while he's sleeping?
