| It was dark and quite right now. You could hear sheets ruffle for a second and then a bit of a moan of tiredness. Then all of a sudden the sound of a clock alarm goes off. Ajay's blurred sight would look up at the ceiling and his hand would come and wipe his eyes. He blinked a few times after and his vision became clear. He rolled over to his side and pressed down on a button from the alarm clock to turn it off. Ajay would tilt the alarm clock a bit to look at what time it said and it was 6 in the morning. Ajay would give a great big sigh because he clearly didn't remember setting any alarm for this morning. Ajay would roll onto his back again and close his eyes so that he can catch a few more Zs. Then Ajay would remember why he had to wake up so early this morning. His body would seem to act by itself as it sprung up so that he was sitting up in bed. His eyes were almost wide open right now.
"Today's moving day!"
Ajay would say out loud to himself. He would look around as his room was pretty much all empty with the exception of his mattress that he was laying on and a few boxes in the room. Ajay thought about it for a couple of seconds as he scanned the room. He figured a few more minutes of sleep couldn't hurt him right now. Ajay would then turn onto his stomach and lay back down onto his bed. His eyes would close the second his head hit the pillow. Those few glorious seconds would quickly pass as Ajay's bedroom door would fly open. Ajay would give a great big sigh as he slowly opened his eyes to see his parents at the doorstep. Both his mom and dad would walk into the room as Ajay finally sat back up.
"We have a long drive ahead of us Ajay. Get out of bed and help me get the rest of the things into the moving truck."
"Ugh working me like an ant now huh..."
Ajay would say in a slightly sarcastic/annoyed tone as he would start to get out of bed. Ajay would go and take a quick shower and dress up into his usual red get up. He walked back into his room with his dad and helped him move out the rest of the things from the house. Ajay would pull down the door on the moving track, slamming it closed. This finalized that everything was now packed and ready for moving. Ajay's mom would hop into one of the moving trucks and his dad would go into another. Ajay would hop into the one with his dad. Both parents started up the trucks and started pulling out of the drive way. Ajay would look into the side mirror as the house soon began to be lost from sight. A couple of more hours would pass and now the city was in the background on the rear view mirror. Ajay would watch as the Jump City soon disappeared from site. Ajay looked at the clock that was on the dashboard and it would read 10:39 A.M. Ajay would lean his head against the window as all there was now was open road and the forest. The trip should be no more than 45 minutes to get to Steel City and maybe another 10 minutes to find the place.
The time kind of flew for Ajay as soon enough he could see the city from afar. Steel City from a far looked like one big factory with smokestacks coming up everywhere. Ajay raises his head off of the window as they started to enter the city. It was around 11:27 A.M. right now and the city looked pretty good for the day time. They would get deeper into the city right now and soon reach the East Side of Steel City. The people in this part of town seemed much more civilized and a much kinder group of people. This of course being the style of the day time. Rumor was it that this city was a place where you couldn't be out after ten because of how bad it became around that time. Soon though Ajay's dad would pull up in front of this large apartment complex. The ground floor was a cafe and then the apartments started up on the higher floors. Ajay looked out the window straight up seeing how high it was. Ajay turned around to look at his dad.
"So this is it, where we'll be living from now on."
"Yeup. It looks like it will be really good here."
"Mhm."
Both of them would then step out of the truck and Ajay's mom would step out of the other truck. The three would look up at there new apartment, new life, a new start. Ajay's dad would clap both of his hands together as he walked to the back of the truck and pulled open the door revealing all of their belongings. Ajay let out a sigh as he knew that this was going to take a very very very long time to unpack everything. It was a pain for him to put everything in there, now he has to take everything out with his dad. Ajay's only thought was how long of a day this was going to be. Ajy would grab the first box and start to make his way into the building and up the steps. He walked into the room and the place seemed beautiful. It was very big, much bigger than Ajay had thought. The place had a nice view and everything. A smile appeared onto the face of Ajay as he placed down the box.
(Mind) "Maybe this place won't be so bad after all."
Ajay would think to himself as he started to head back down the steps. The whole process of grabbing boxes and what not would continue on throughout the day. The trucks would be empty by about 6:47 P.M. now. Ajay at this point was sitting on one of the boxes with a bottle of water in his hand and his shirt off. He was sweating and breathing pretty hard as he looked around at the place. He was done moving and now there was just the unpacking. He took this as his cue to finally go take a nap. Ajay lined up about four boxes across and would lay across them. In a matter of seconds he would be knocked out. Almost everything was done. They were moved in and now they just had to settle in. Time to start again in a new city.
