| Still holding JaK's dismembered hand, Lobo stared dumbly at the shadow that the girl had disappeared into. Where had she gone?
Suddenly the girl was on his back, and some strange sort of dark energy stabbed into his neck. Lobo cried out in pain.
"Aaaaaaauuuhhh...Not Cooooool!" It wasn't every day that someone was able to pierce his flesh. There had to be some sort of magic at work here, he guessed. So, this little missy was a magician, was she?
Lobo turned around to face the girl. Blood was flowing from his neck, running down his leather jacket, and spilling on the floor. However, flesh immediately began filling in the gaps in Lobo's wounds. A mere three seconds after he had turned around, Lobo's neck was completely healed as though nothing had happened.
This was another moment where Lobo felt proud of his curse. He had been banished from death. Neither Heaven nor Hell would take him, and that meant that he simply couldn't die. That, added with his advanced healing factor, made him truely immortal.
Frowning at the girl, Lobo pointed a fat, pale finger at her. "Hey, I gave you a flower, remember? You could at least show some manners." Lobo thought about flattening her, but then remembered his original purpose in coming here. "Tell you what, I'm ready to leave at any time...assuming you come with me. I'm looking for a side-kick, you see. You're a pretty good candidate. You've got a sharp tongue, sharper claws, and you're easy on the eyes. Well, what do you say? You want to join up and be my best buddy? I promise not to beat you up...too much." |

| Back at the women's lingere store JaK would exit the room with a bra on his head and a hairspray can in his only hand. The look on his face spelt pain in big bold letters, luckily, there was no bleeding for he immediately manipulated the metal covering his body to envelop the wound. Still the nerve endings fired and ached his entire being since his hand was no longer there. The only thing keeping Sage from dropping to his knees and sobbing like a baby right now being his own determination and willpower, which had always been his best feature. Even over his super powers, fighting prowess, and free running. His never give up and never die attitude always made JaK the fearless hero he was today. Now however, he was definitely biting off more than he could chew. This guy was WAY too tough for hand to hand combat, he would need to be much more tactful if he planned to defeat Lobo. First thing's first, however, now it was time to call back up. Putting the spray can in his jacket pocket and throwing the bra off of himself JaK would press a button on his communicator alerting all Titans that there was a threat at the Galleria while speaking aloud.
"*OuGh* Calling All Titans! *AaaAh* Calling All Titans! There is a---*ErGH* An Alpha level humanoid alien near the shopping district at the mall. Approach with--*ArugH* Extreme Caution!"
Afterwards he put away the intercom and checked his other jacket pocket for his lighter...Good, it was still there. There might be hope to salvage this battle yet. He hoped that gutsy pedestrian was still alive, if she was killed because he was unable to handle his own against this guy he would hate himself. Moving quick now JaK would begin to free-run back to Lobo's and Alyss last location. Taking the high-ground as he lunged on top of a bench and then onto the side of an advertisement before pulling hismelf on top of it with one hand. Just under the second level now he jumped onto the side railing of the second level and hoisted himself up to the second floor of the mall. With a birds eye view of the area below he could approach the situation without being scene by Lobo and attack his blindside. Hopefully the girl was still alive and distracting him for this to work though. |

| Alyss snorted and folded her arms across her chest, absentmindedly wiping her bloody hand over her shirt. "I'm afraid I'm already assigned to my own mission. Plus, I think I'd prefer to perish in a vat of acid than be your 'buddy'." she replied, frowning deeply towards the alien. He wanted a sidekick?! It seemed absurd that such a powerful creature needed the help - or perhaps it was just the companionship he wanted. Alyss had been lucky in that department; she was never alone with Fear in her head. "But I would like you to leave, the Titans are coming. Not that those little idiots will be any use against you but maybe you'll find some sport in them."
Dark tendrils began to spread under Alyss's dainty feet, unfurling across the marble as flat, black worms until they reached the feet of the alien where they began to wind around his ankles. With a slight twitch of her fingers, the shadows began to constrict around Lobo, circling higher and higher until they reached his chest. With her enemy subdued under the restraints, Alyss turned on her heel and began to walk calmly away. "But they'll have their hands full not knowing they've got an immortal on their hands, won't they, Lobo? The pros and cons of a curse, eh? I know that feeling." she called back to him, still heading slowly for the exit.

| She had turned him down? He was the Main Man, and she dared to turn him down?
Dark tendrils enveloped Lobo before he could make a response. More of that dark magic? It had to be. They were holding on pretty tightly, too.
Still, if there was one thing you needed to know about Lobo, it was that he could not be contained.
With his terrifying strength, Lobo ripped his arms and legs through the shadows that constricted him. Whatever force controlled the shadows, it wasn't as strong as the Main Man. He hadn't needed to use that much power since fighting Superman. This girl was special, and he wanted her as his side-kick. The Titans might be fun to beat up, but what if they were all whimps? He couldn't take that chance by letting her get away.
Stepping forward, Lobo yelled after the girl. "Hey! You're not excused! When the Main Man wants a side-kick, he gets one!" Stomping his foot on the ground with terrible force, Lobo shook the very foundation of the galleria. The walls came falling down as the building collapsed, unable to handle the earthquakes that resulted from Lobo's stomp. |

| No sooner had Lobo broke free and yelled his statement about demanding a sidekick would he suddenly feel the pressure of two metallic boots dropping down onto each of his burly shoulders. Instinctively as he looked up he would see the culprit was JaK Sage holding the same lighter from before in his only remaining hand. However, as he held the lighter his other hand seemed to rematerialize and grow while he absorbed the same material yet again and manipulated it into a new palm.
"Looks like the only thing you've got is me and of course your new hair-do!"
Sage from above had seen that the girl he thought to be a pedestrian was no pedestrain at all, but a meta-human who had even managed to enclose Lobo in a binding of what either looked like dark magic or shadows. In anycase JaK saw this as his time to strike and with his only free hand he grasped the hair spray in his jacket pocket before tossing it high-up into the air over the railing of the second floor of the mall. Then immediately leaped over said railing afterwards and landed on Lobo's shoulders after a short eagle posed free-fall. Soon after his hand had entirely grrown back Lobo would learn the meaning of what the Titan meant by the last part of his sentence; when the hairspray can landed in his newly formed right hand and JaK began spraying it all over the alien bounty hunters face. At the same time flicking the lighter while placing it under the spray to ignite the chemicals in the beaty product's exhaling vapor, creating a makeshift blowtorch that completely enguled Lobo's head as JaK grinned while doing said deed. His surprise attack had worked and now that he knew this girl was a meta-human he thought maybe he and she could even this battle up a bit. |

| It seemed that JaK had regrown his hand. Maybe he wasn't as much of a whimp as Lobo had thought. JaK jumped and sprayed fire at Lobo with little can and a lighter.
"Oh no."
The flames engulfed Lobo, and he half-heartedly tried to fan out the flames. A few seconds later, one of the walls that was falling as the building was being torn apart fell on top of Lobo. As the dust settled, Lobo was hidden from sight by the stone, metal, and plaster that was on top of him. |

| As the fire engulfed Lobo's head, JaK continued to spary him until the can of hairspray went empty. JaK Sage learning this trick earlier on in his life before he became a Titan. For you see, where Sage of the Teen Titans had failed with his powers and fighting ability. JaK, born and raised of the streets of Gotham would take over utilizing his skills/knowledge and improvisation. After the can was all gone JaK would back flip off of the current Ghost Rider wannabe and kicked him in the head mid flip. His foot enlargening momentarily as he did this so the blow could actually force the big alien to move. As Lobo stumbled he would be covered in the debris from the wall. JaK landing in a knelt position afterwards and seeing that for now his foe was temporaily out of the fight. "Good."But, JaK knew that wouldn't keep him down for long. He could survive and even get get back up from a few stones falling on top of him that's for sure. No, it was going to take something with a little more UMPH to take out this Bounty Hunter and as Sage looked around he found something that might just do the trick. Quickly making a mad dash to a display both a little ways off inside the mall. He would punch through the glass casing and pull out a set of car keys that went to the brand new BMW that was part of a sweepstakes giveaway where you had to sign-up and if you didn't win they would keep sending you junk mail for the next year and a half. Knowing Lobo could be up in any minute JaK didn't take the time to unlock the door and rather just ran up the hood of the vehicle and did a roundhouse back tuck into the drivers seat of the luxury car. The soles of his metal shows busting through the glass of the sun roof upon doing so, but JaK wasn't worried about that. Nor did he think mall officials would really even care at this point. Once inside he put the key into the ignition and tarted the engine before flooring it! The skidding of rubber on tile flooring being heard as he drove straight towards the rubble heap that had fallen on top of Lobo, hoping to run him down with all the horse power this little baby could muster should he arise from it. As he drew closer JaK put on his seat belt, safety first, ya know? |

| Lobo stood up in the midst of the debris. It seemed that his earthquake had backfired on him. Oh well. He brushed the burnt black skin off his face, revealing a fully healed face beneath it. His hair had even regrown to its full length. Lobo smiled. He was always ready for photos.
JaK was now driving through the galleria ruins in a fancy new car, aiming for Lobo. Lobo almost laughed. Did he really expect a puny car like that to hurt him?
As the car approached, Lobo caught it with his hands, stopping it cold. The air-bags went off and the front of the car crunched in on itself. The windshield cracked and shards of glass fell around the mess. Lifting up the car by its crushed front side, Lobo laughed. "I hope you had insurance." He then threw the car accross the galleria into a still-standing store, bringing more walls crumbling down.
Lobo looked around for any signs of the girl from earlier. |

| (Sorry it's taken so long, I'm in Rome!)
Alyss turned upon the feeling of an intense heat that rippled up the skin on her back. What on Earth was this? Her eyes immediately sourced Jak, storming the giant in a brand new BMW. Idiot. Not only was he limiting himself attack wise, he was ruining a bloody good car. For a moment Jak seemed to have the battle covered - until Lobo emitted a wry laugh and gripped the car between his immense fingers. The agent watched, transfixed, as the Beamer was crunched in the Goliath's hand, then drawn back behind Lobo's head. What was he doing? Was he going to-
Her thoughts were cut short as the shattered car headed straight towards her and the last shop standing. The moment passed too quickly to even think about activating her powers, but as the girl threw herself to the ground to avoid the oncoming metal she wished she had. The decimated exhaust had detached itself slightly and though the main body of the car flew higher than her, the dangling piece of machinery stabbed deeply into the skin of her shoulder and raked down through the flesh of her chest, before levering out as it reached her sternum. Luckily the piping didn't cut too deep, stopping quite a few inches before reaching any bone or major arteries. Blood splattered across her collarbones, oozing across her shirt in a gory tie-dye and lingering around the freshly ripped holes in the cloth.
Through gritted teeth, Alyss stumbled to her feet with one hand draped across her chest to stop the blood flow. Now she was really ticked off with this galactic twit. Striding past Jak with determination and a slight limp, she confronted the beast head on, still nursing her bloody shoulder. "You really are most trying, fellow. And I have a very very strong patience threshold." she said, removing her hand to leave a shadowy print across the wound, for protection. Her powers were not for healing, but at least this way she avoid any further damage to her already fragile ribcage. "Big man like you surely doesn't need a sidekick? Or is it....awww. Does the big scary alien get lonely up in space? Cooing aside, I'm not a sidekick, I'm already a duo in one body! So find some useless Titan to do your bidding. Or better yet - leave. Before I cut your damned head off."

| OOC: That's awesome! I wish I could go to Rome.
BIC: Oh, there she was. Lobo had almost tossed the car right on top of the girl. That could have been very messy. It already was messy; she was bleeding in several places.
Did he get lonely in space? Well, yeah, once in a while. But usually there were enough fights, bars, and chicks to keep Lobo busy.
Cut his head off? "Tried that, it didn't work. Baby Doll, I thought you were a Teen Titan. That's why I started breaking all this stuff, to get their attention. If you're not a Titan, then what are you doing here?"
Lobo drew one of his handguns and aimed it at the girl's leg. A clean energy blast through the leg should take the fight out of her, he thought. The smell of ozone filled the air as a burst of energy shot out of the gun and headed for the girl's leg. |

| Although Alyss thought JaK was an idiot for attempting this it seemed like a good idea at the time...That or it was the only option he saw at the moment since both he and this girl appeared to be vastly outmatched dealing with Lobo. Which if JaK had known this was one of the only people in the Galaxy to ever give Superman a bloody nose...Nah! Sage still would've tired to take him on. It's just in his nature. However, he would have to agree the ramming Lobo with a car thing turned out to be a BAD idea. As the alien caught the motorized machine and JaK had to look into those sadistic eyes for a few moments before being hurled like a cardboard box into the front of a "Horizon" electronics store. As he crashed overhead into the sign of the vacant lot the shrapnel that came off the vehicle seemed to injure Alyss below. Soon afterwards she would again attempt words with Lobo, while JaK kicked out the windshield of the vehicle and ripped off his seat belt. Leaning outside the car and taking deep breaths while rubbing his shoulder as he saw her giving the bounty hunter a piece of her mind.
"Yaaa, you tell em' girl!"
JaK was rather happy that she was distracting Lobo for a few moments again for him, maybe that would give the reinforcements he called time to GET HERE ALREADY! Until then he and this chick needed to keep stalling. Getting out the vehicle now he slid down the front of the hood and performed a quick bio-540 flip off of it to land on the ground below. Actually barely being able to stick the move for his head was still spinning from the high impact he just suffered. He did have to say this about the luxury vehicle, they were built pretty well, had he been without his armor he might've still even survived that crash. Noting that he should look into one of these should he ever settle down or survive this encounter, |

| (Back now! What a wonderful place - riddled with sunburn though!)
"You tell 'em, girl!"
Alyss managed a small smile and breathed a brief sigh that the Titan was still alive after that horrendous crash. She knew the boy already, having studied the current Titan team thoroughly whilst watching for enemies in Steel City. Keeping tabs on all the Supers to avoid them at all costs around made her government funded vigilante spree a lot less hassle. There was always the chance that various Titans could remember her: and that first unreported murder before leaving for the FBI. "Mr Sage, you'd better g-" Her peace was shortly broken as Lobo's bullet headed towards her, speeding from the alien's gun straight for her left calve. In a violent motion the agent raised her hand and forced a viscous shield of shadow around her front, just enough to protect herself from the shot that hurtled towards her. As the bullet hit her shade, the ammunition slowed from rapid to almost nil, the gelatinous shadows absorbing the damage, allowing Alyss to merely flick the piece of metal away from her body, unharmed and satisfied.
"Do I look like a Titan? I'm barely even a teenager and, to be perfectly honest, I don't work well in teams. I'm came here on the off chance that I would get peace to buy things! Fat chance of that, as usual." she stated, bluntly, standing to her full height and powering up. Fear reared her fierce head within her mind and gnashed her pearly jaws, ready for battle. The tips of her hands began to coat themselves with the thick, dark substance that she controlled so deftly, slowly working its way up her wrists and across her arms. Fear overtook Alyss's control, hoping to salvage some carnage for herself - she grew tired of her sister's stalling and 'talking her way out'. Talking was ever so tiring to her, all Alyss ever did was jabber on and on and on....Fear was a much more practical, physical being.
"Best not to call me Baby Doll." she snarled, curling her lip. The girl's whole appearance began to change as Fear took over; her eyes darkening as obsidian marbles, limbs strengthening and stretching the taut muscles that surrounded her thin bones and demeanour emitting a far less organised, more chaotic quality. "It's not a nickname I enjoy, Gargantua."
The egregious sister jumped ever so slightly into the air, zipping into a shadow that faced Lobo and reappearing in the shade of a broken pillar that lay behind the giant. "Such a slow beast, aren't you? she began, clapping to source the attention. Fear's adrenaline was kicking in, all she could think was 'fight, fight, fight'. The taste of blood was imminent, be it hers of his - she'd fought off worse before. Alyss pleaded to her sister from the back of her consciousness to read him before fighting, to take note of his weaknesses and strengths before making the first move; but to no avail.
"I don't think we've met yet, though it seems you're already acquainted with Alyss. Fine scar you'll leave our body with, jackass. Fear growled, her thick Irish drawling musically over the words, savouring the opportunity to use the shared body for speaking that she was so often denied by Alyss. Upon her last sentence, her hand trailed over the open wound upon her chest, dabbing gently with her fingertips and casting an intense stare at the crimson blood that clung to her as she drew away. She began frowning at first, but soon her face morphed into a wide, eldritch grin, teeth flashing towards Lobo like a leering Cheshire Cat. There was an air of childish psychopathy about the other half to Alyss, something darker that was beyond her control; Fear was hard to restrain at the easiest of times, so at her worst she totally dominated their body. You sure are huge, but tell me...is it purely working out or do you inject steroids straight into your eyeballs?"

| Lobo was impressed that the girl could stop his energy bullet. That was cool.
The girl transformed in front of him into a scary version of herself. She then explained that she had a split personality. This personality was mean.
"I knew you had a bad side." Lobo turned around to face the girl's new personality. "So the boring one's Alyss. What's your name, new sidekick? We've got a whole galaxy of mayhem in front of us."
Lobo imagined seeing their names in the headlines for destroying a planet with their pure awesomeness. He smiled. |

| "That's right, keep him'busy while I think of a way to keep him from seeing tomorrow."
JaK had been thinking while Alyss was talking. He noticed that Lobo punching and throwing stuff around had nearly abolished the foundations around them. Thus the debris falling on top of him earlier. If Sage took out the supports to the second floor of the Galleria above Lobo, maybe that could take him out. It would certainly do more then the car thing and it had temporarily dismayed him before, plus it was the best JaK had at the moment. So with that in mind he went to work while Fear dealt with Lobo, keeping him busy. JaK located the support beams that held up the second floor of the mall around the section the others were at and began to hammer them down, which wasn't too hard as mentioned before since Lobo had already put a lot of the work in for him. Most of them only needing a few good placed hits by one of Sage's juggernaut fists or just one good one before it broke and crumbled. If this worked, however, Alyss might be put in harms way as well. Although, from what JaK could see she was a Shadowmancer, and a quick one at that. So she should be fine at making a quick evasion at a moments notice. Reaching the last few pillars now JaK began hammering away at all of them. The floor above aching as it weakened and began to come crumbling down upon the two.
"That's it, just a little bit more." |
