Round Two

Coming to the end of the street, as another van came driving by, it's tires screeching on the road as it came to a halt. The door opening as one by one, the remaining filled the van, Mike stood staring at the burning building, taking a look to his suit under his sleeve. Then back to the building, Mike sighed.

Well that was certainly anti climatic.

Mike said, stepping up into the van as the lackie holding the door took a glance at the destruction infront of him, slowly shutting the door.

Meanwhile, back on the third floor of the Power Tech company's skyscraper a window would suddenly bust open as Spider-Girl leaned out and took a very deep breath. Soot covering the ripped parts of her wreathing symbiotic suit. It would seem the little alien symbiote didn't like fire too much.

"Phew...That was a little to close for comfort."

Just before the explosion, Liz zip-lined up to the air vent on the ceiling and ripped off it's covering. Then as the bottom floor went up in smoke, the explosion of flames and fire caused the girl to go soaring through the vent while the suit and her own invulnerability kept her from being burned to pieces until finally after bouncing around in the confined tunnel like space for a full 10 seconds she popped out on third floor. Smoke and much debris, plus a bit of flames following after her. It took a few moments too, but eventually Spider-Girl recovered from the blast and quickly opened a window to get some oxygen into her now slightly ash filled lungs.

"Make that 0-2 for me vs Mr. Mike Stokes now; way to go Spidey."

"Sigh, and just wait till the salon gets a load of my excuse as to why I have charred split ends..."

The web-slinger would look at her burnt hair as she said this. Looks like she was going to get that haircut after all, but for now she needed to get out of dodge. That explosion had alerted every badge in town to this location and she wasn't excaclty the feds favorite costumed heroess at the moment. Yet another thing she could thank Mike Stokes for as she crawled out of the window and onto the side of the burning building.

Dead? Dead!? Impossible! She can't be dead! I didn't even put any thought into it!

Mike shouted, talking to himself as the lackies tend to stay out of the conversation as Mike was in a battle with his mind. Cursing and swearing to himself, some of the most in depth plans he thought of, and an interruption to one of his missions is what killed her!? Mike's fist smashed into the van with force the cracking of his fingers and knuckles as it did. Mike kept the pain to himself, gritting his teeth. An awkward silence cane about as the van carried on driving back to the hideout.

OT: End it with next post? or continue...Spider-Girl might've survived but she'd be pretty banged up. However, I could have her continue after Mike.
