Round Two

Liz could see that the other two goons had gotten caught up in her webbing, and while doing so made themsevles eays targets for the arachnid female to gunk up their gun chambers with some more of the good ol' sticky substance.

"Guess I was right, turned tail and ran. Bad guys are sooo predictable sometim--WAIT, Spider-Senses tingling!?!"

As Mike's voice faded off, Spider-girl had figured her hunch about him using this time to escape was corret. At least until she saw him suddenly leap down the stairwell in a single bound and with one foot drop kicked the girl into the sidewall of the building. The sturdy structure crumbling and cracking under her somewhat invulnerable body frame.

"OOUFF!!...Charmed, and here I thought I had you all figured out to just be some two bit villain trying to make it big by being ruthless and slightly psychotic. But, now I see you're actually quite the gentlemen, huh? You can call me Spider-Girl; or in a little bit, the reason you're behind bars."

After the initial impact Spidey dropped down to her knees, only to regain her composure moments later by rolling to the left to avoid any of Stokes next attacks or maybe just to confuse him with how fast her movements were. As she got back to a knelt position she shot forward a web-blast with both palms and as the two attacks flew they would combine in mid-air to make a full spread net. He ripped off her web-bullet before, but maybe a large amount would have a different effect. Who knows really? She still wasn't sure how much that thing he was wearing was augmenting his normal human abilities.

"Ooook, this suit obviously does more than just make a fashions statement."

"And he just rips off like a worn out band-aid. Crap, looks like I going to have to quit understimating him or he's gonna--"

"AUGHHH!!"

As Mike dashed forward Spider-Girl would quickly lunge up onto the side wall of the of the stairwell a few feet above him just before impact, but while thinking of what to do next. The hitman kept going forward and nailed the structure with enough force to caused her to lose her footing and fall to the floor in front of him on all fours.

As Spider-Girl stood to her feet. She would see Mike get in a fighting stance. Liz knew nothing of actual combat to be honest, her main tactic of fighting was to rely of her strength, agility, and Spider-sense. Two of those abilities he could nearly match now, but he didn't have a danger sense so there's no way he could see this coming.

"Ugh, stronger than he looks now that he's got mechanical steroids."

"But, you still can't bring the house down like I can."

That being said, after looking around a bit at her surroundings. Spider-Girl shot two web lines above Stokes and yanked down on the floor above them. Her spidey strength coming in handy as she broke the foundation and made the top floor come tumbling down in the area over Mike's head in large chunks of debris to bury him.

A storm of bullets would rain down towards the arachnid, as a shocked look enveloped her masked face. He actually had broken free of that and without much of a scratch none the less! Using her Spider-Sense to virtually slowdown time to her level of manuverability; Liz was able to do a series of acrobatic feats to lunge, leap, and twirl away from the bullets while getting close to Stokes. He was a good shot, but trying to reach the broken stairway ledge was taking away from his aim.

"Ok, in retrospect maybe he's right. Trying to rip down the roof of the building, or should I say floor, when were underground might've been a BAD idea."

"Whelp, if webbing and big objects won't put you down Mikey---"

At this point, the web-slinger had lunged to the wall vertical of Mike Stokes by clinging to it with her wall crawling abiltiy and then lunged at him at a vertical angle. Her fist cocked back so she could give him a rather hard strike upon contact, but of course pulled it as usual, so she wouldn't puncture an organ or cause brain damage.

"It looks like were doing this ol' fashioned WAY!!"

As Liz took shot after shot from Mike now, she honestly could say fighting someone with strength relative to hers hurt A LOT! Thinking quickly, when he threw his next punch she would wrap her legs around his arm and used her sticking ability to keep him from pulling it away. While doing so, she crossed the appendages around his limb and yanked on the wrist. Forming an arm bar that was impossible to power out of by simply yanking your arm away.

As Mike charged towards the back wall with Spider-Girl she would continue to try and wrench his arm out by applying constant pressure, but to no avial. This suit was making him able to hang with her, figuratively speaking, on an inhuman level.

"Why would Powers even need something like this!? What could he be planning---"

Suddenly, once again her danger sense would go haywire as it alerted her to Mike's plan of smashing her body into the wall. Thinking quickly she would free one of her hands that was holding onto his arm and shot a web-line past his head. The idea was for the webbing to act as an anchor of sorts a she tugged/held onto it and stop his suicide run since Liz was in no position to attempt an escape...literally.

A struggle would immerse between Liz and Mike, each gritting their teeth in the struggle to keep one another from achieving their desired end to this battle. Well, at least until they were interupted by one of Stoke's men alerting him of the police presence and the need for them to make a hasty get away. That being said, Mike immediately loosened his grip on the girl and threw her away. As Spider-Girl swang back away from him, Stokes would unload a clip of bullets at Spider-Girl again causing her to take immediate evassive action. Dropping down from the webbing to avoid the first shot and then doing a quick tumble/roll variation to avoid a few others, but while doing so was nicked by one of the flying bullets.

"Ouch!"

Luckily, no sooner had she been shot would the symbiote cover her wound up and add an extra coating of her costume to keep it concealed.

"Hmm, nice. Kind of like a space alien band-aid."

With that in mind she would take off after Mike Stokes. He already had a head start on her now and the suit enhancing his agility wasn't making it any easier to catch up, but she was tailing him and was definitely going to take him in, and really...That's all that mattered to her at the moment. Liz would cross the bridge with Powers and the polcie when she came to it.

Meanwhile, back inside the tower Spider-Girl had just reached the ground floor in enough time to watch Mike Stokes van begin to haul it out of there.

"Well I can tell you one thing, and that is he's not gonna get too far in THAT beat up hunk'a---WHOA, Spider-Sense!! DANGER all around!?!"

How right Liz was, for a she swang through the bottom floor and towards the exit she would notice the blinking detonators all about the room. From outside all that could be seen next was the multiple explosions as the ground floor of the Powertech skyscraper was blown out and burning bodies of a few dead officers, but mostly Mike's men were sent rocketing out of the windows in a charred mess....Sadly, no SPider-Girl was to be seen many moments afterwards. Making one believe that she hadn't survived the explosion and met her untimely demise.
