CAV: Shadow-Hunting

Shadow spun around, her mind working fast as Velocity ran circles around her. The speedstress was going for her wing, so that was where the hero would go too. As a green-clad leg blurred by Shadow she swung her whip up, coiling it around the leg and using the momentum to swing herself into Tania's face.

OT: WOOt!! Just broke 1200 posts and it's actually Ta"LIA" lol not Tania.

As the whip coiled around Velocity's leg she would be flung into Shadow's fist. Velocity wasn't super durable and Shadow wasn't as weak as other women. So in other word, that Hurt! The punch knocked the speedsress down and caused her lip to bust. However, soon afterwards her lip would heal at an extemerly fast rate. The villain licking the blood from it and then grinning at Shadow.

"Nice one hun, you're the first person to actually hit me in a while. Oh, and I forgot to mention, you'll be the last!"

As the girl spoke, she would suddenly stand up and begin to twirl around creating a cyclone that began to suck everything within a 7 to 8 yard radius in towards her. She was spinning so fast in fact, a little tornado seemed to form as gusts of wind whipped around Talia.

Aphrodite's eyes widened. Now that was impressive.

(Grats. And sorryy T.T I've been so out of it lately. Today I forgot half my books and nearly lost my hockey stick >.>)

Shadow smirked slightly in satisfaction as Talia's lip burst, but she was shocked as it healed. As the villain began to create the small tornado, Shadow winced as her broken wing was pulled towards it. The Sliver dug her heels into the ground, her other wing flapping frantically as she struggled to stay away from Velocity.

The winds were strong, though, and the girl cried out as another tiny bone snapped in her delicate wing. It was under too much pressure. Still, Shadow resisted the wind, but as two more bones broke and several ligaments were pulled, her defence faltered.

Shadow was thrown back as the tornado stopped, her right wing aching and her left hanging limp and useless. She stumbled for footing, but before she got any Talia's fist struck her in the jaw. It wasn't quite as hard or fast as it could have been, but it was certainly painful and the winged Sliver felt her jaw click out of place as she was punched.

By now, most of Aphrodite's army had recovered. Although Aphrodite was sure that Talia was capable of killing Shadow alone, there was one thing she had learned in life: never play fair.

As Shadow got punched in the face, a mob of men with clubs, crowbars, and knives charged her. If she fell from the punch she would be easy prey.

Talia had backed off, but the gang was back again and Shadow wasn't quite fast enough to recover from the punch. A knife ripped into her arm and a rain of blows hammered down on her, forcing Shadow to her knees. Her wings were completely useless now, just another source of pain and dead weight.

Aphrodite had waited a long time to see this. She'd always been jealous of Shadow's good looks, and now the Silver was getting what she deserved. She watched the blood spray from Shadow as she cowered on the ground.

This, Aphrodite thought, was art.

Shadow used the speed Talia had stolen to her advantage. She flicked her whip around a man's ankle as he tried to kick her and flung him away. The girl staggered upright, clutching her side. Her wings drooped on the ground and she was sure they had broken a few ribs. She was cut and bruised all over, but if Shadow was going down, she was going fighting.

OOC: Yeah.

IC: "Not particularly. I'd rather sit back here and enjoy the show. I'm afraid the entertainment has come to an end, however."

Two men with pistols would walk up to Shadow and aim their weapons for her heart. If one or two brawlers got injured from their attack, it was no concern of theirs. Both guns fired, and the bullets raced towards Shadow.

Shadow made no sound as the bullets tore through her; just fell back, lifeless. She landed on the ground with a heavy thump, crushing what was left of her wings beneath her. She could feel the bullets buried deep inside her, little packages of cold steel. Shadow died almost instantly, the shots ripping right through her heart.
