A Boarish Brawl [CM/open maybe]

Ever since the raid on the city by the Oikonny, Mo tried working with the local authorities to ensure that those they managed to apprehend were well taken care of- as in making sure they were kept under lock and key until the APC swung by to pick them up. Mo wasn't filled with confidence at the prospect at keeping so many of them together in one place on a lesser developed planet- no offense to the locals. But the fact of the matter was that The Oikonny gave more advanced species problems when taking them prisoner. She was pleased though that APC command would be looking into tracking down the small fleet that was already on file and being looked for. Mo hoped that at the worst, all they managed to accomplish was property damage and theft- she did not want to think about the prospect of them getting away with prisoners.

If not for the fact that she felt he had to make sure the ones that were captured were taken care of, she'd have taken her ship after the fleet to atleast try tracking them- there was no telling where they'd end up. But while they were under lock and key, Mo decided to do a patrol around the city- just in case. Based on reported Oikonny behavior, they were not known for their subtlety or stealth. In fact, their idea of stealth seemed to be little else but "hiding behind something and waiting until something passed by them." However, there were a few outlying reports that contradicted this and seemed to imply that there were a few that... had a surprising knack for stealth, primarily the smaller "runts" of the species. Armed with this knowledge, Mo simply asked where the "slums" were and headed that way to do a sweep until she was needed- if she was needed.

She had actually never been in this part of Steel yet, and... some of the thoughts she picked up were kind of... disheartening. Not that there weren't enough of those in other parts of the city, it seemed the locals here were a very sour bunch to put it politely. But here, everything seemed to that much worse- or maybe there were just more of them in this part of town specifically. But this was an unexpected problem, because some of them were getting dangerously close to the mind of an Oikonny, and the person thinking them were clearly human. But then that was when she finally had a spark of activity, and was near enough to hear gunshots. Well, even if they weren't Oikonny, she couldn't just sit by and let a crime in progress... progress!

So using her telekinesis to get over some abandoned buildings and a bird's eye view, Mo soon pinpointed the location. Flying over as fast as she could, Mo found herself flying over what looked like a turf war... but suddenly saw some of the participants; Oikonny. As it turned out, that mention that only the runtier of the species had a knack for stealth... wasn't entirely true. "That all yuu got ya stinkin' apez? We eat nailz fer breakfazt!" The largest of the group boasted as he and his two cronies continued to exchange gunfire with one of the local gangs, Mo assumed,

"I ave it withou' any melk!"

"Carloz dun yuu one up me or I'll cook yer bacon!" Da Boss snorted, literally taking a face of blaster but only slightly flinched as he lobbed a grenade at the cowering gang members.

"No no no! None of that!" Mo dropped down, and quickly used her telekinesis to hurl the grenade BACK at the big Oikonny boss. There was a panicked squeal from the trio as Mo ALSO threw up a barrier wall, knowing what was about to happen as the grenade exploded... and... kind of vaporized part of the surrounding area. But only one of the Oikonny seemed to be actually affected by it, but his body was already trying to patch itself up. "Please leave! Self hopes you reflect on this!" Mo telepathed outwards as the boss got up, hefted his plasma cannon, and warmed up another shot as the gangsters took that chance to run. They didn't wanna get iced by a space pig! Then Mo's shield was blasted by the overcharged plasma shot, sending Mo flying into an alley for a moment. "Bostet..." Mo swore getting back to her feet, fists glowing as the trio of Oikonny regained their bearings.

"We gotz a goo cop bois! Crack er open!" The Bozz snorted.

"People loud." A small thought going across the slime's mind as it watched from the dispute between the aliens and humans. It hasn't ever seen an alien before, which made it confused about the warrior orcs dressed weird with odd weapons on them. As they were very distracted with themselves, the slime watched from the inside of stack of pallets. The pallets made a noticeable shake as the cop had crashed in the alley next to them. "Why breaking?" the slime thinks to itself as the shine of it's eyes can be seen inside the darkness provided by the pallets covering it.

Jel would've also at length known why there was a dispute- which was simply that The Oikonny did what they did and was looking to take over this part of town; naturally the gang didn't want to take that lying down. Anywho, back in actual time- Mo would pick up some stray thoughts as she landed on her back. "Hello squeaky voice! Self suggests you find safety!" Mo telepathed back as she lifted herself up and back onto her feet, one of the oversized pigs charging toward her while brandishing... was that a traffic sign? Mo pushed her hands out and lanced a beam at his legs, tripping him before he got to use it as Da Boss let loose a few uncharged plasma shots at her. Mo flew around them and returned fire against the burly Oikonny. Like the blaster shot to the face, they didn't seem to do much against his thick hide.

The Oikonny still on his feet and looking quite well done, raised what looked like a sawed-off shotgun- which from space that meant it was a sawed-off "flakker." Mo made a quick shield as he squeezed off a shot, sending molten shrapnel in Mo's general direction but unable to get through her shield. Mo lobbed another photon orb, pleting him right in the snozz. "OY! AAAAAH!" He squealed in pain, holding his nose and thrashing about in pain as the boss simply adjusted his aim and started firing at Mo some more.

"Git down 'ere so we can frag ya guud ya spineless coward!" Da Boss grunted as the traffic sign armed Oikonny drew a large looking energy pistol, and prepared to try and take a shot at Mo's back...

"Safe. Safe... Tea?" The suggestion puzzled Jel since it believed it was fine in the alley while the scuffle had pushed to just being the Oikonny ganging up on the woman, someone...something that seemed to be a lot like Jelelle. "Why slime holding as human?", the slime thought to itself as it noticed the tripped one getting back to it's feet and aiming one of those loud weapons. This gave an immediate bad feeling to Jelelle and the urge of stopping the Oikonny took over.

The pallet stack had shifted slightly again before the top one was raised up by a blue mass. The sound of this alerted the Oikonny, who cocked his head back and look beside him, but all there were was stars. The Oikonny outlaw had the pallet's flat side slammed against him, breaking on impact and knocking the alien out. Jel's body was pushing itself through the open slots on the wooden pallet stack, making a wet sliding sound until it was resting back in it's droplet form. "Self safe tea from pig." The golden glow of Jelelle's eyes were shining through it's body as it felt happy from stopping the Oikonny. It pushed itself forward to slide off the pallet and changed to bouncing once on the ground to approach Da Boss and Mo. "Pig safe tea pig now?"

Jelelle had the great fortune of managing to smack said Oikonny in the face, where his nose was- and as demonstrated, they didn't like being hit in the nose! "Self is not hoo-man- armor is this shape!" Mo managed to get out between blocking or dodging plasma shots when Jel revealed their presence with the aforementioned bonkening of the pigman. Mo and Da Boss were distracted for a moment, with Mo wondering why there and how there was another kinsman here- Da Boss was just annoyed.

"Yuu shoulda stayed in tha garbage slimeball," Da Boss frowned, aiming his cannon right at Jel as it started to warm up- but then the other still standing Oikonny let out a loud, primal roar of fury. He was... FURIOUS, and he charged right at Jel with the intent on tearing them apart- clearly not thinking any more.

"Forget someone?" Mo taunted as she lanced another beam of energy down into the plasma cannon, making it explode in Da Boss' hands and setting him ablaze with a pained piggy squeal as he flailed about for a moment before rolling around on the ground. That shouldn't work so many times... but Mo couldn't enjoy that fact for long as she quickly turned her sights back to the now rampaging Oikonny trying to harm her... savior? In any case she had to put this one down quick before he- could he actually hurt the cute little slime? She wasn't gonna wait and find out!

The cute ball of slime looks up into the Oikonny's face as it did it's boar rush. In it's angered state, the alien quickly got to Jel and drove his left fist into the slime's body. But not feeling any harm from the attack, the slime spread itself across the Oikonny's arm. Being coated by Jel made the Oikonny roar again, before swinging the back of his arm against a wall to try and knock Jel off of him.

Oikonny were already not known for their intelligence, and even outside of his rage induced state, he would've tried punching the amorphous creature. This gave Mo a window of opportunity to blast him in the back with a light beam that only seemed to annoy him as he spung around, and was promptly clocked right in the snout again. THAT sent the rampaging boar reeling with an angry squeal, to which Mo followed up with another beam to knock him off his feet. Then their boss (after doing some rolling around to put out the flames) grabbed her by the ankle and pulled, almost getting her to fall, but she caught herself and kicked at his face- aiming for the snout. "Oooh yer gun get it now!" He growled, rolling over and tugging hard enough to basically throw her over him and into a wall.

The one she had just dropped was also getting back up, now on all fours as he charged forward- trampling his boss in the process as Mo simply... flew back up and let the Oikonny crash head first through the brick wall- well, almost through it. Missing his target and having the wall cave in on top of him seemed to finally do the trick for the moment as Mo returned her sights to the boss as he got back to his feet, badly burnt but still ready for more! "Just give up please, your friends are already out cold," Mo suggested, hands glowing as the boss prepared to charge with a bellowing roar...

The boss's charge was cut short when 220 lbs of metal landed in front of him like a crashing meteor. The ground beneath the new arrival splintered and cracked - meanwhile the being who had just entered the fray remained dormant in a knelt position a half second longer. The only movement made was the metalloid man raising his head to quickly survey the battlefield. He rose up another moment later to his full height and stared at the Oikonny boss with a stern expression while raising his palm towards the boar. "I am Teen Titan, Alloy. You will stop what your doing and lay flat on the ground. Or I will use force to get the same result. Choice is yours." Alloy said as his palm began to glow with a golden light. "To all of you; this is my one, and final warning." The rumors that the Titans East were active in Steel City again appeared to be true. This metal-man standing erect and acting like a wall between Mo and the other alien also was sporting the Titans logo on his sweater, indicating his affiliation.

Axle had received reports while scouting the city that the slums were more lively than usual. A further inspection did reveal that some kind of super-powered brawl had broken out. However, the aggressors and victims had not been made clear in any source on the conflict therefore everyone involved would receive the same treatment unless he thought otherwise. Axle's head rotated 360 degrees to show Mo, Jel, and anyone else moving that he was also speaking to them. "Did I not make myself clear? On the ground - Now!"

Having just pulled itself back together and resting on the Oikonny, Jel was pushed back by the machine's landing. "Waaa! Automaton seems angry", Jel thinks to itself, as it wondered why it was here. Jel looks back to Mo to see how she was going to react since it was her and the Oikonny's that started the fight.
