A Hive of Scum and Villainy [Shadow/Open]

Prospero was quickly met by two pole wielding humanoids. One swung at his head, but got pushed back with a flick of the magician's wrist. The other pole wielding humanoid decided to take the moment to strike at Prospero's torso, a loud CLANG as it hit the metal of his chest piece. Prospero would grin as he grabbed the pole, engulfing both the pole and the wielder in flames. He would then grasp his head, he was being talked to, it was as if another's thoughts became his own, it felt vaguely demonic. There was only one answer. He would quickly look at the rest of the group, "STOP TALKING TO HER! Ignore her! She is a demon, burrowing thoughts into your heads!"

He would quickly pull out a large book from under his coat labelled "The Encyclopedia Arkana," flipping through the pages, looking for anyway to block out the voice from his party. A Ward of Mental Protection! Perfect! He would take his knife from his belt and slit his hand, bleeding onto the floor. "Luna dea mente tueri socios. Sit autem non cadunt praestigiis daemonum. Offero tibi sanguine mea subscribere contractus."

A vaguely face-like shape formed through the flames lingering closest to Prospero, a pair of magenta colored eyes flicking into being. "We wouldn't do that if we were you. We don't like being denied, and we KNOW what you desire. It must be SO frustrating to be burdened with a sickly body~" The Voice purred sincerely to Prospero mentally. "You already know what we're implying. You do something for us, and we can give you a body that can't be plagued by disease and then some~" The Voice continued to purr and seemed to be creeping into Prospero's mind. That's what he wanted right? No longer held down by the need of medicine, check ups, being in a plastic ball, always half dying if he pushes himself too much. No doubt Prospero knew full well the tired old song and dance, but it was STILL offerring him what he wanted and hadn't stated their terms yet. But the offer was very inticing...

Roxxy smashed another blob creature that seemed to fall from the ceiling, feeling kinda whoozy from the head blow because it was a pole. Buuuut this didn't feel too much different than being drunk off her ass so she'd manage for now. "Wot? Yeah peachy lad- head feels like a fecking bell," Roxxy swore as the fight upstairs seemed to be moving, seemed like the survivors in there were trying to make a push now that their attackers had started to move in on them. "And nah, would be nice though eh? Summin bout legal reasons and shite I don't know," Roxxy added about the armory, though the normal guards were not privy to the stash.

Then one of the few remaining "stripper blobs" suddenly let out a shrill and creepy giggle as they hefted their pole like someone aiming a gun at the hip, and quite unexpectedly started firing off... energy projectiles? It concentrated its attention on the cops, forcing them to duck and cover before Roxxy barreled up behind it, grabebd the pole and cleaved cleanly through it. "Damn shame this... OI! Hurry and get yer arses down here!" Roxxy barked up at the couple of Three Oni, the manager, and one or two other employees that looked alittle worse for wear. The Three Oni were armed with more than just a simple handgun, one had a shotgun and the other had an easily concealed SMG- the manager was also armed but she had a handgun. "Oi! Don't you do it! We can get them outta here," Roxxy told Ren.

Creatures seemed to be growing fewer in number, limited to just the amorphous bloblings which seemed just be crawling out of no where from OUTSIDE of the club based on how they were appearing. Maybe their overlord was running out of steam.

Ren's eyes faded in and out. Eyes glowing brightly and dimming as he stared at the wounded around him the death and carnage, it was horrifying yet welcoming a place where he always felt alive when his life could quickly fade.

As the energy shots erupted around him and the wounded oni with the shotgun smg and pistols came out, Ren couldn't help but laugh long and hard bending over before he caught his breath. "ah OK i won't kill your poor oni, but their protection is up to you to protect them If they turn that's on you..." Ren said, sounding slightly unhinged as he checked his plasma ammo and knife before leveling his gaze at Roxxy. "You saved my life, so ill Trust your judgment on this consider my debt repaid..."

Spotting another one of the few remaining Stripper blobs, Ren aimed and sent a few shots downrange aimed at its head using his enhanced targeting to help lead the target. Only now, he seemed to have more of a grin to his face as if he were enjoying himself.  

"I'm heading to the strip club to clean house." upon Chris's comment about didn't need to kill them. Ren turns his head to look at Chris, "you gonna Stop me if i get to them first?"

Soon after the mysterious voice entered the heads of everyone in the nightclub the fancily dressed teen would yell at them all to ignore her, as apparently she was a demon. Woops. He would then get out a book and start reading in the middle of all this chaos. Talk about priorities.

As the four of them fought off the blob creatures their enemies numbers seemed to dwindle, even after the stripper blobs revealed that they could fire off energy blasts. As Roxxy yelled at the remaining 3 Oni members to get down to the first floor Chris would jump up to the second floor to help them, taking out one of the few remaining blobs on that floor with a roundhouse kick. Though as he did so that would also leave him less able to stop Ren from killing any wounded he came across, in fact the bastard even taunted Chris about it as he went to the strip club where the feminine-looking blobs came from.

For a moment Chris was tempted to toss one of his steel balls at Ren to disarm him, or possibly try and knock him out. But in this chaotic environment removing his ability to defend himself would be as good as murder, and as much as Chris disliked the android there was now way he could do that. So he was forced to let Ren go do as he pleases while Chris would help the 3 Oni members regroup with the others on the ground floor.
