What's good here? (Mega)

Some features of a person's body were easier to accept than others, as a certain disguised Slime Wizard had discovered. He didn't have JUST horns or some other minor feature which in this world's day and age, would probably make him more interesting and appealing to some than he thinks. Then again, he hadn't been around long enough for someone to introduce him to the internet and all of it's glory! But then again, his actual features would just make him stand out too much, and that'd get in the way of his research. Slymon was actually here to "procure" both ingredients and some food stuff, having managed to gather up some money. What? Just because he made a habit of being a hermit, didn't mean he was above using money.

But before long he started to feel a faint throbbing in his chest as he perused the aisles. By the way, this... "supermarket" was much different than what he had expected hearing the word. It wasn't full of stalls and people going around buying stuff from people, bartering for higher or lower prices. Everything was on display with a fixed price, noting that some of them seemed to be cheaper than usual because... reasons. If not for this fact, he would've assumed that SOMEONE could just come in, and take whatever they wanted. But that was too good to be true so he had the foresight to look into the matter beforehand. He was unaware of the cameras that did dissuade shoplifting. But back to the matter of the throbbing in his chest, Slymon recognized this feeling. It developed back in the underworld after his transformation, and allowed him to feel sources of magic.

He had sensed it once before somewhere else in this part of the city- actually a couple of times. But at the time he didn't follow up on them. But those had also been good paces away, this one was getting closer and closer to where he was. It was only slightly frightening, as the closer he was to the source, the stronger the feeling was. But curiosity was now getting the better of him as he tried to at least SEE what it was. That's when his "heart" skipped a beat for the wrong reasons; a demon. A kinda small demon girl but still one all the same. This world also had demons? Actually, THIS CITY just casually had demons walking around? Demons weren't rare in his world but typically such a thing grabbed people's attention. From what he was looking at, no one here seemed to be paying her too much mind- was he missing something here? But the fact she seemed to be the source of the magic interested him more.

This required further investigation...

She was definitely different than what he was used to seeing, he wasn't sure whether or not that was a good thing- given her size, he was leaning towards it being good for him. But he would not still be staring at her though, since she clearly looked up and caught him looking. But she only smiled at him, which he should've expected from a demon. Slipping back into an aisle, bad memories started to come back to him. Yes... further investigation would be needed. But he wasn't bold enough to try anything here. Besides the obvious factor she... seemed to be a demon of some kind, it was more the fact she seemed able to use magic that gave him concern.

For now he would bide his time, and go back to his own shopping for the moment. He'd be able to roughly tell where she was with his core, and he coud lay in wait for her. It had been awhile since he had a test subject, and while he normally only chose people who had already tried to do him wrong, a demon was a special case- An opportunity he didn't think would come up again, and one he had to take while he could.

After some length of time...

This was taking... much longer than he had anticipated. What in the various levels of hell was taking her so long? What all was she getting? He knew she was still close by, because the throbbing in his core remained about the same. But he couldn't just wait around in one place for too long, which wasn't too much of a problem if he changed disguises once more. This was nerve wracking though, and if this wasn't such a rare opportunity to acquire a demonic test subject, he'd have given it up long before now. He did not do this normally, and now he understood why. For someone like him who was used to getting lost in research, being alone with his own thoughts was... unpleasant to say the least.

But finally he noticed a deviation, his core telling him that she was moving else where finally. With his new disguise active, Slymon would move to try and intercept her a ways up ahead from one of the alleyways. He only needed it while he was moving to this new position, given her status as a spellcaster, it made logical sense that he'd need more than two hands to restrain her from using magic; plus he'd be able to siphon off some of it off. Hiding behind a large trash container, he let his disguise melt away and lay in wait. He'd have to be quick, too many things could go wrong the longer he took. When she was passing by, he'd stretch out one of his arms to wrap around her head, covering her mouth and pull her in. Hopefully while she was confused, he'd have time to rip open one of his gateways and quickly drag her through to his temporary residence. He'd feel a whole lot better there...

Her first indication that they weren't normal would be what actually wrapped around her head, not a hand but a purple, goopy tentacle. She would also start feeling a slight sensation while it was wrapped around her. Rose would also find herself, in a rather run down looking... room, for lack of a better description. It did look like someone had been living in it, even before now. But there was also a distinct aroma wafting in the air, a distinctly chemical smell as if someone had been cooking or brewing something or other.

Once they were through, and back here, Slymon would take his head tentacles to restrain her hands- he didn't want her to be casting spells. "....were you seriously expecting to carry ALL of that?" Slymon blinked at all of the bags, moving into her view to have a better look at her. His first point of investigation was to see if her horns were actually real, giving them a couple tugs to confirm that. "So they ARE real... interesting," Slymon commented, actually relieved by that fact. For some reason it made him feel better that it wasn't just some random person wearing horns. He wasn't sure why someone would want to, but this was a strange new world to him and he wouldn't have been surprised.

Slymon was occupied examining her horns, silently wishing he had finger nails to try and scratch them. Did demon horns have any special alchemical properties? He didn't know off hand, never got a chance to try. But now he could, if he wanted. His mind was rushing with potential discoveries he could make now, and the obvious wrongness of the situation had been buried deep beneath the ideas forming in his head. He noted that she didn't seem to be struggling, or evens eem to be... concerned. He fixed his eyes on her intently for a moment curiously. Conversation was obviously limited, excluding the fact that Rose didn't talk normally as it was. But more for the obvious reason she couldn't physically do so right now.

All the while, his contant would be siphoning off magical power as he looked about the room for a moment. Someone had definitely tried to squat in it before him, but they had since moved on or simply didn't make it back. It didn't matter either way to him, and with it's multiple rooms it'd make a good temporary base for him. At least until he could find a way to gain his own holdings; this wouldn't do. Other than the sparsh, trashy piece of furniture, the most notable thing about this room was the obvious "lab station" looking table off in the corner, which seemed to be the source of the odd smelling air. He had found it somewhere else in this neighborhood, and after some... persuasion was gracious given it by its previous owners. Well, now he had a demonic specimen, and he had a feeling that he was going to learn a lot from her...


Some time later that evening... a green haired woman would be going into the police station with a look of panic plastered on her face...
