The Witching Hour [Prospero/Invite]

Prospero would look at their leader, "I need to know who I'm working for, before anything else." He'd look at around, planning his exit. The lights seemed to go off for a second, and when they came back, everything was... the exact same. "You need to really pay your light bills." Unfortunately for Prospero, The creature in the shadows can see in the dark, and was privy to the fact that Prospero not only lowered the lights himself, but cast an illusion across the area. Nothing seemed off, when everything came back, most likely it was for precaution. He'd smile at the leader, "Well?"

The Leader's attention briefly shifted to the lights going out, only to return to Prospero as her jaw tightened. She clearly did NOT like it when she didn't get what she wanted. And it was very apparent that she was forcing herself to remain calm as a forced smile spread across her face.

Unfortunately, the one lurking in the dark had enough of this charade. One indication that he had goofed would be the lights (including the candles) suddenly going out as if devoured by the darkness, and the amber colored eyes fading into it. Everyone else would naturally gasp or yelp at the sudden loss of lights as the ones left behind were dealing with Prospero's illusion. Something would then move behind Prospero, it's malicious intent obvious and the only sign that something was about to strike him.

Prospero would quickly set fire to the area, springing his illusion, a prison of stone would incase each of the noticed remaining rogues. Inside their stone prison, they would have to face their darkest fears. Prospero would bring the flames to his hands and get ready for a fight, having ignited the room, the room became aglow with orange light. He would turn to the assailant, that damned ninja. He'd step back and narrowly miss the spiked club. "I told you to BUZZ! OFF!" He'd fire a stream of fire at the Ninja. Where'd The demon go...?

The Ninja would nimbly spring back to avoid the fire, it's arm whipping lightly and returning to a regular arm. "AAAAAH! FAAAAANG!" Kitten whined, experiencing her own personal nightmare. Fang likewise was freaking out. The only one who seemed... not exactly better off but seemed like they were better off by comparison was Johnny who seemed to be trying to get out of his mental prison.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN SCARE ME TWERP?" It wasn't clear if he was yelling at Prospero or something else.

And then a pair of amber colored eyes would open inside the ninja's hood as it started to make handsigns. "Two can play this game," the same cold and commanding voice remarked as the ninja's body started to multiply several times. What was this an anime? Unlike an anime, these copies were real enough and like their creator morphed their limbs into an array of weapons. Unlike their creator, these ones looked... unstable. There was no definition any where on their body, they just looked like walking shadows. The Shadowmen nimbly sprang into action, erratically leaping from different parts of the room to avoid the flames before trying to attack Prospero from different angles.

And then the ground at this feet would darken in a small spot, as an enlarged black fist erupted from it and tried to uppercut him in the middle of the barrage.

Prospero would be doing his best holding off the ninjas, dodging hits, throwing fireballs, punching and kicking, but would soon be hit with an enlarged fist, sending him across the room, "So we're playing rough, huh?" He would create a sword out of purple energy, grinning. He'd then jump into the offensive, going after the most defined ninja. "You need multiple versions of yourself? Weeeaaaakkkk."

The Shadowmen were quick and wiley- but not overly smart, and suffered more than Prospero. Once most of them were all dispatched the few that remained seemed to become... influenced to change their strategy, and went to try and snap the others out of their illusion- via hard smacks across the face.

A pair of amber colored eyes boredly watch Prospero as he summons his sword before fading back into the ninja's hood. Black/blue glowing tethers would erupt from a dark corner in the ceiling, trying to wrap themselves around Prospero as the ninja simply sank into ground. If the tethers got ahold of Prospero- he'd just be left in a very embarrassing position.

As the ninja sank into the ground, Prospero would jump after him, only to be grabbed by the tentacles. "Real smooth, Elliot." He'd sigh and burn the tentacles off him. He'd look at the alter and take pictures and grab the dolls of the Titans, most notably the Raven one which seemed possessed, "Gramps is gonna want to see this... He'd then look at his sleeves, ripped up from the battle, "I was gonna wear this to prom, dammit..." Prospero would then exit the club while calling the police to arrest Kitty, Spiderhead, and Johnny, proud he was able to stop at least three villains and an insidious cursing plot.
