And then there were six. (Invite only)

Letters were sent out for hand delivery by guild agents. The men would infiltrate the criminals homes and leave letters for them on their pillows. "Greetings, if you are reading this it means you have been selected for your astounding work in the past. I look forward to seeing what you can do in a group. Off the shore is an oil rig, this has been converted at expense to myself. I do very much hope that you will find it in your interest to attend. As you can tell finding this in your home I know where you are, how to get in and could plant anything I wanted here. Obviously I'm not with police so don't entertain such ridiculous thoughts. Speaking of which I have agents within their ranks so don't try to report this. Meet me on the deck and begin your new life as a member of the hive. We will turn quite the profit together. You will never want for tech and I'll make sure you get all the best jobs. -TIBERIUS"

Three days later TIBERIUS was indeed waiting in the oil rigs control room watching through his camera's for their arrival. This Hugh Exley and his turning over an entire pirate radio yacht, Nina Uchiha and her acquisition of the fan. Grizelda Luliaceae was in interesting one her robbery of an ancient Egyptian display and the theft of very specific relics, he suspected nth metal due to her heritage but only time would tell. The twins Alec and Alex Carnage though were something else, they had only managed petty cash but had worked well coordinating their attacks against a hero. Finally his agent Fade, top in her class and an excellent agent, he would assign her here to make sure things ran smoothly from inside. Now all that was left to do was wait.

Alec and Alex were casually lounging around when they decided to hit the sack. Being the classy individuals, they took time, and then went into the single bedroom.
The twins eyed the suspicious notes on their pillows. They were plain pieces of paper, maybe a trashy underground party? The carnage brothers opened the note on their pillows and read it thoroughly. "It looks like we have admirers!" Alex noted with a grin, crumbling up the note and throwing it out the window. "Or just one.." Alec corrected as he folded up the note and put it on his bed side table. "Don't be a downer!" Alex teased as he flopped in bed.

3 days later both twins had large back packs on their backs as they arrive at the oil rig. "Looks a bit dated to me.." Alex complained, looking over to his brother. "Oh shut up.. I'm sure they'll impress us soon." Alec sighed, adjusting the fedora on his head. "Tiberius!!! Hellloooo?" Alex called out lazily. Alec rolled his eyes. "Just wait for once in your life.." Alec told Alex with a pinch of annoyance in his tone.

Nina was just heading to bed after a long day of tending to her store as she found the note on her pillow, raising an eyebrow she picked up the letter and read it calmly "huh...interesting" she said smiling.

Three days later she made her way down to the docks, looking out to the old oil rig, turning herself into a fox behind a fishing shed she snook around and made her way onto a fishing boat that drove nearby the oil rig, creating fox clones that started making a floating bridge in the water she hurried herself towards the ladder then climbed up it in her more human form

"He's not here!" A figure appeared on a set of steel grating above the twins. Having made himself known, Pix withdrew to scale down the stairs, arriving at their level. They were greeted by a life-sized video character, its body composed of thousands upon thousands of square pixels, giving the metahuman a sort of angular countenance. Representing Hugh's face hung an emoticon (^_^)

"Knew another clueless punter would show up eventually. You don't know me, I don't know either of you. But as of right now we're allies. No, not because this guy said so. We have a common prospective enemy. If TIBERIUS wants to try and coerce us into action, then it's in our best interest to unionise." Straight to business. The sprite hadn't been sat on his hands these last three days. He had brainstormed scenarios to how this mysterious summons would play out. Naturally things should go in his favour. This could only happen if Pix united the other candidates under a common cause.

They may have been strangers, but mistrust was not an affordable luxury here. If they squabbled then their host would maintain the upper hand in the proceedings. Pix viewed what was to come as negotiations and would not be put in a weaker position than absolutely necessary, "Check it. I tried to track down all I could on this oil rig construction project TIBERIUS hints at." Hugh dropped a folder at Alex and Alec's feet. A sea breeze blew the cover open, revealing it empty.

"That's everything I have. Nothing big happens in this world without being noted in triplicate. So we have to assume one of two things. Either this is a big fat goose egg or TIBERIUS is sufficiently centred to manipulate the ebb and flow of information. That's controlling the media." Pix made a helpless shrug at the pair, his point wrapping itself up (T_T), "With such a powerful entity setting his sights on us, wouldn't you rather go into this venture as collaborators? On the off chance there's a nasty surprise waiting."

Gilda's wings carried her over the waters swiftly. She wasn't sure whether or not she even wanted to be here. She was a bit wary of whoever this person was, whatever they were. All she knew was that this person, thing, whatever, could find her and sneak up on her despite her super senses. That made Gilda nervous. She at least would have to make sure not to make an enemy of this person. That was easier said than done, for her at least.

She hadn't know that she had drawn that much attention. She blamed that museum. It had gotten her way more publicity than she had planned. She had stayed under the radar since then. Even now she was flying high enough that she would just look like an eagle from the ground, maybe a seagull if you knew nothing about birds.

She circled the big rig twice before making her way down, slowly. Even from up high she could hear the conversation going down below, not to mention see the girl climbing up. When it ended she decided to make her big entrance. She went in for a sharp dive, then pulled to be flying right at them before pulling up just in time and looping to land just in front of the two boys. As she landed she knelt and let her mace strike the rig, making it tremble. "You sure work fast kiddo." she said, kicking the folder.

"So is it just us four?" she said, nodding her head at where she was pretty sure the girl would climb to, "Cuz, so far, I'm not impressed by anyone here." she said with a straight face, "What are you two supposed to be? Super Twins? and," she looked over Pix "You're just...ugh and the girl on the ladder needs to find a better way to get around! " she yelled, making sure Nina knew she had been spotted.

As Gilda would have arrived TIBERIUS would have moved a single digit all the clue his agent would need to know that she was to go see to them. He rose from the control chair and headed out unsurprised to see Fade was gone already. He made his way to the commons and flipped on the lights he opened a hidden panel in the wall turning on a nullification array, anyone making it to the bottom of the elevator would be unable to utilize innate powers while in the hive while it was on.

TIBERIUS would have smirked at this if his chitinous face was able to move in that manner. But that was only one of the two master strokes. The other would be by the time they reached the bottom of the elevator the field would be able to affect them, and the elevator used biometrics to keep unauthorized visitors out. As he took a place in a side room to watch the security cameras for the commons he began thinking about creating an EMP burst in the elevator in case that Hotwire hero ever tried to come here.

The twins were greeted by another Meta. He was in a somewhat pixel form, but it was barely noticeable. He then shot a whole bunch of information at the twins, like they were old friends or something. The brothers shrugged in union and listened in. "So, out of all your research you only know that he is really good at hide and seek and that he's it?" Alex dumbed it down, scratching the back of his head. He was a lot smarter then he looked or acted, but he was too lazy to process everything currently. "He knows what you mean.. He's just a lazy ass.." Alec complained with a sigh. "So basically we should get on his good side, or expect to be blown up in our own house?" Alec concluded as he messed with his suspender..

Then, an eagle like girl swooped down and judged everyone as soon as she got their. The twins rolled their eyes and turned to her. "I don't know what you were expecting. But you're not too fancy yourself." They said in union as they watched her carefully. She had a big mouth, Alex liked that. He threw his arm around her neck and smiled. "So if you're all big and bad, what did you do to get here?" Alex asked with a smirk. Alec sat on the sidelines rolling his eyes with a puff. "Aren't you a ladies man.." Alec told Alex through telepathy.

OOC: I'll wait for Gilda's reaction before The Twins move on..

Nina had heard most of what had been said and growled at what Gilda said about her, climbing to the top of the ladder "we're not all gifted with flight like you, some of us have to use our brains to get around" she said with a smirk before noticing Pix "you! Oh wonderful so we'll be working together like we did on the boat...just don't be destroying any more break levers okay?" she said with a chuckle before she looked to the twins and gave them a friendly smile then scratched behind her ears which twitched a little.

Nina seemed to be completely unaware of who this "Tiberius" was, either that or she just didn't care, with her calm attitude it wasn't completely clear if she was just ignorant or simply brave and ready to face what this being had in store for the group.

Much to his amazement, Pix found the people he had chosen to confide in possessing a semblance of intelligence. One of the twins didn't appear to take his point as seriously as the other, but he was convinced both were capable of grasping this dilemma's intricacies. A promising start, "Yeah, that's a fine way of putting the situation. If we don't provide a united front, such a man could steamroller us." Thank goodness they weren't of the muscle-head persona.

A surprise entrance spooked Pix sufficiently to make him fall down. Some winged woman had arrived, immediately throwing her weight around. With frustration, Pix picked himself up as he listened to her dismissals. The stranger's last comment confused him, "Girl?"

A fifth traveller appeared. The sprite expressed yet more surprise (0_0) as a familiar face approached. This was the same thief Hugh had worked with before. Their last encounter was less an amiable, yet they parted on good terms, "Fox tails! Actually glad to see you. This narrows down what work TIBERIUS wants us for." Pix knew both he and her were criminals. A specific breed of villain actually - those who valued practicality over wanton destruction. Their ill deeds had purpose, "Don't worry. We're on the same page this time. Just keep to the group decision."

Their dialogue was cut short by movement along the oil rig. Hidden metal plates moved aside. A transport lift had arrived. It was time for TIBERIUS to make himself known. Show these villains what his intentions were. Whether mutually beneficial or exploitative, "It's underwater? Ingenious." Despite his grudge against this information horder, Pix could admire a clever setup. He eventually wound up next to the assumed dogsbody who had come to tend to them, "Elevator operator, huh. Is there someone to park our speedboats too?"

Was...he really hitting on her? Who did this little punk think he was? He was wearing some stupid little suit. Gilda's scowl got even more pronounced as time went on. She couldn't count the reasons she already didn't like this guy. Let it suffice to say that, if the mystery man didn't concern her so much, she would have left right there...or given him the beating of a life time...preferably both.

Gilda turned to look at the boy as he put his arm around her. She smiled, ignoring the girl   who had just yelled back to her, for now. "I flew here," she then spread the wing that he was standing beside to, hopefully, send him sprawling to the ground. "Ya know, the best way to travel." Gilda finally looked over to Nina again, "Watch your mouth or you might find it broken, chick." she said bluntly, noticing as the elevator opened.

She didn't bother talking to Pix yet. He hadn't done anything to make her dislike him. Not yet anyways. The person in the elevator was much more interesting anyways. Gilda made sure to keep track of exactly where her mace and knife were as she walked towards the elevator, "Alright, so what's the deal here," she asked as she stepped in, "and who are you?"

TIIBERIUS was waiting in the common room the computers around the room humming with activity as they tracked police activity and displayed the various security cameras that watched the streets. He waited in a dark corner surely the resources that sat in front of them would grab more attention than the dark unmoving figure standing in a corner of the room.

Alex chuckled, at least she didn't punch him. "I like them.." Alex commented on her wings smoothly. He took his arm off her shoulders and casually walked next to his twin. "Got 'emmm" Alex bragged to his brother through telepathy. "What ever.... She wasn't even in to you.." Alec snapped back, rolling his eyes.

As the Twins carried on in their bickering, the oil rig shook for a moment then an elevator appeared. Gilda quickly made her way over to it. Alex followed behind with a sly grin and Alec simply walked over with a shrug. Alex made sure to stand right next to Gilda, causing Alec to really roll his eyes. "You are ridiculous!" Alec complained aloud..

Nina chuckled at Gilda's comment 'she can try' she thought as she walked into the elevator with everyone, looking to everyone calmly and just seeing who she should watch out for most, she could probably work as part of their team...maybe...she just hoped this whole thing wouldn't be an utter disaster.
