True. Depending on the theme of the game I share that thought, yet there are some that are definitely worth it. I mean, look at what you get?
- New content, usually without an extra fee.
- Updates on regular basis, to keep the balance.
- Stable servers.
- Better then average customer support. (most of the time)
A free MMO is far from the quality a paid one offers, and think of the costs that come with the upkeep of something of this magnitude. Bandwidth alone would make my bank account weep.
I'm not saying monthly subscriptions are good, but without them these kind of games would not exist. Microtransactions only make the game even more unfair to people who don't pay, so I'm biased against that more.
OT:
No I haven't tried it nor will I get it. What I've seen wasn't very good, so with this game I agree with Joshua. There is only one upcoming MMO that I'll try, since up till now singleplayer is has been so much better then any multiplayer I've ever played.
Btw, downloading as in through Steam?
