(SW/Divvie) The Danger Is Within {Arc}

renegades left arm seems to jerk and twitch rapidly as it reaches into his pocket pulling out the device "what how it will kill us both!!! " Renegade yells at himself before a voice the voice of Ren takes over but only as the voice "im sorry Ivory, thank you for being kind to me even if it was breif" tears are rolling down from the non glowing eye as hes about to press the plunger on the device

I let out a shout of panic and rush forward in an attempt to stop him. The only person. The only person who I've actually grown close to since being here. What will happen if he collapses?! What if he hits his head on the concrete and it kills him?! Tears stream down my face.

Ren presses down the plunger as his body is racked with electricoal currents the one glowing eye explodes from the socit and screaming of pain can be heard by him. when the shocking subsides ren collapses to his knees blackish blue blood seeping from his maw as he dose

I rush forward as he presses the button with a cry. I sink to my knees beside him in time to catch him. I attempt to hold him close, sobbing. "What can I do?" I whisper to him through the tears.

Ren reaches up weakly using his thumb to wipe away her tears "shh its OK , ill be fine Ren says i just need time to rest" he lets out a struggled cough " the box that had the kitten in it , it has a small envolope taped to the bottom its a nano serum that would help me heal you can leave me hear and get it if you wish "

I frown and shake my head, tears still falling. "I'm not leaving you anywhere." I take a deep breath to calm myself before laying him down gently and running over to open the passenger side car door. I then hurry back to red, lift him gently with a grunt. Dang he's heavy. I carry/gently drag him to the car and help him in, buckling his seat-belt and closing the door. I then run around the car and throw myself into the drivers seat, starting the car before closing the door and pulling out of the parking lot. This is probably the first time in my life that I don't bother to put on my seatbelt.

Ren weaves in and out of conciseness till they get back to Ivory's house Ren offhandedly asks "i just want to know something ivory from earlier do you love me" Ren asks

(if yes ren will smile as his eyes close and his head slumps to one side giving Ivory a shock that he might be dead but his system will audibly speak that hes in power saving mode)

I drive like a crazy person (or a drunk one, you know either way) until we reach my house and I pull into my driveway. Ren then asks if I love him. I chuckle sadly and nod. "Yes. I love you Ren." My voice comes out just barely a whisper and I look over to see him slumped against the door. I swear my heart skips a beat before I hear his system say he's in power saving mode. I let out a sig of relief before moving him gently so I would be able to open the door without him falling. I then get out and hurry over to unbuckle him and get him out. I get him inside, leaving all the doors open. I lay him down gently on the love seat next to the couch before finding and grabbing the serum. I'm about to inject him with it when the weapons on the couch draw my attention. I set the syringe down and sweep the weapons into the kitten's old box, taking the box to my room and putting it in the closet, just in case Renegade woke up and not Ren. I then hurry back over and infect the serum quickly. I sit back on my heels after that to wait.

Ren opens his eys slowly before getting up and closing the front door picking up Ivory and sitting on the couch with her dosnt even speak a word as he begins to hug her "thank you Hun this would be twice now you saved my life because i did lie when i said that wouldn't kill me if you didn't do what you did "

I shudder in his embrace before wrapping my arms and legs around him tightly and burying my face in his neck. I say nothing but hold onto him as if my life depended on it.

ren looks down at Ivory before planting a kiss on her head and gently moves her legs out from behind him before laying down on the couch still hugging her as he dose

I let out a little whimper as he moves my legs, wrapping them back once he has repositioned us. I bury my face in his chest, partly cause it's comfy and partly to hide my growing blush.

Ren wakes up and carefully removes himself from ivory before getting dressed and taking a black bandanna and making a home made eye patch with it before going to the kitchen and making them both something to eat

I whimper slightly in my sleep as I realize he's not there and wake slowly with a yawn. I frown when I reach out for him, the bed next to me feels cold. "Ren?" I call, sitting up looking around confused.

Ren comes back to her room shirtless and carrying breakfast on a plate for her "the bacon was being a pain, did you sleep well? he asked
