The little halfling and the girl(Red)

rose smiles a bright smile as she takes the bread and splits it with him and does the same with the fruit. while nomming on their food daniel joins them and rose sniffs the air and smiles mishieviously at daniel who suddenly goes pale. "hand over the meat and i promise you will walk away with your armor and everything still in perfect order" she says and he laughs

Toji hums happily as she shares with him, nomming on the treat and waving at Daniel when the knight shows up.After laughing, Daniel nods, reaching below his cuirass,holding out a bag of dried meat."It appears you've found me out,Milady Rose. I've no option to offer this."

rose lets out a gleefilled squiel as she sees its dried meat "yesss looks like we hit the jack pot toji" she says as she take the bag of dried meet and gives toji some. "make sure to save some for later ok?" she tell him as she takes a hand full for herself and then stuff some in her pockets. after her pocket is full she hands the now half empty bag back to Sir daniel and smiles. "thank you good sir for being kind to share your meat." she says and then hugs him.

Toji eeps as she squeals, nodding as she states that they've won the pot.Humming happily as she gives him some,nomming on a small piece, he grins.Told to save some the little boy nods."OK mama Rose!!!" Daniel accepts the bag with a nod, blinking as he's suddenly hugged."U-uhm...Yes...No trouble,milady." He clears his throat, smiling down at the halfling slightly smooshed between them."Your horse is right over there when you wish to go."

Rose smiles and picks toji up and walking up to her horse while nomming on some meat. she places toji on the horse and then climbs on behind him. lightly kicking the horses sides she gets the horse to walk toward the group of men waiting for her and Daniel

Toji hums happily as he's picked up, snuggling into his second mom, gripping the pommel of the saddle when she puts him on the horse.Waving happily at the men, the little boy glances up at Rose."Are we going into the woods, mama Rose?"

Rose looks at toji when he asks her a question. "yes toji we are. now i want you to stay alert keep your senses sharp if you sense anything let me know okay?" she tells him. Daniel rides up next to her with the rest of the men coming up behind her. she feels protected but at the same time overwelmed a bit. then the group starts moving and they head into the woods.

Toji nods, grinning."OK,mama Rose!! I'll look and listen good!!" Grinning at the Knight when Daniel comes up,the little boy gives a wave,and glances around. He'll catch mean ones!!!

Rose looks ahead and watches the shadows of the trees and bushes move. she grabs her bow and an arrow and takes aim then she lets the arrow go and it flies across the trees and makes a hit on something. she rides up ahead in search of her fallen prey.

A bellow sounded as the arrow hits.As she rides off, Daniel follows, along with a couple of his men. When Rose approaches, a spiked, clawed limb swipes at her general direction, a huge demon comes out from the vegation, growling and pulling at the arrow stuck in it's eye. It spots Rose and Toji, and let's out a terrible growl, reaching at the boy first...only to yelp as a dart appears in it's limb. Runes spread out from the wound and weapon, covering the beast as echoing, indecipherable chanting fills the air. A tall, thing figure steps out, holding out, though it would be a staff for a normal sized human, a slightly longer then average sceptor in a hand, and arm, of what seemed to be tree bark. The other limbs, and what could be seen of it's face, looked to be made of the same. The demon struggles, but begins to dissappear.

rose leans out of the way of the demons swiping claws but then gasps as a strange figure appears and sends the demon away.
"Who may i thank for saving us?" she shouts out to the figure. She holds toji close to her to keep the boy warm as it has gotten chillier.

The wizard seems to sigh as the demon is fully banished, picking up the dart and stowing it away in his robes. One of the soldier's eyes widen."Cor...the wizard..." Toji shivered, but hummed happily as Rose holds him close, cuddling up to her.The wizard turns his head, shadowed face examining her from under the huge,wizardy hat, the brims more then helping conceal his face, then points at a nearby oak tree,then taps his chest, in answer.

rose mildly confused by the reply looks at the direction he points and urges her horse to move forward a little. "are you telling us to head that way?" she questions warily.

Toji blinks, tilting his head. The little boy was confused as well.The mage seems to sigh, then waves his fingers, a smoky line of words showing up.-You may call me Oakheart.Follow me, and I will guide you to a place of safety.- Oakheart turns,then begins slowly walking off.One of the soldier's eyes widen."Cor...it is him..."

rose smiles widely as she follows him on her horse. she then starts to hum an old tune out loud that seems to spread threw the air and cause the wind in the trees to hum as well. she looks down to toji and stops "listen to this tune well toji it is a tune that brings peace to all things in nature." she says and then hums again. near by a young oak that is smaller then the rest and leaning straightens and starts to grow a little and flowers start to sway and grow all around them. then as if the forest had a voice of its own it starts to hum the tune back to them.
