Let's get animated (Emmz)

It had been a few weeks since Brian had went on the date with Nina. So far he had been busy, with the terrorist attack and the actually having money situation. It looked like Brian wasn't going to need to work so many jobs anymore. So now he had some free time. So he decided to pay a visit to his whatever one would call it, Nina. He wasn't quite sure exactly what they were, they only went on a date. While they had fun Brian had to spend the next couple hours from having a panic attack after she kissed him. That wasn't the easiest thing in the world.

It also didn't help that he had to take the bus back to get to his ride. Though he was willing to let bygones be bygones. Besides, he was quite interested in seeing her store. She said it was like a nerd's paradise, Brian wanted to see just what did a nerd's paradise look like. With that he walked up to the door and pressed it open.

Nina would be snoozing as usual in her chair, converse up on the counter, waking up suddenly with a snort as she heard the ting of the bell above the door, sitting up she smiled "welcome how may I-oh Brian its you come on in" she said happily "its nice to see you again how've you been? S-sorry I left you so suddenly last time" she said, she had just remembered about that once she was back home, she had been really embarrassed about it and felt quite bad for just abandoning him there.

Brian looked over at Nina and smiled. Though internally he wanted to push himself to the furthest edge of the room. Walking up to the counter he said, "No worries, it was no problem. So this is the place you own i take it?" he asked. He turned his head looking at everything in the room. It was definitely a nerd's paradise. Plenty of comics and games all over, more than the eye could see.

"So I'm a bit unfamiliar with places like these, I usually order comics online. So what do you sell here?" Brian asked pointing at the racks of knickknacks.

Nina would listen to Brian as he asked what she sold, she would take in a deep breath "Japanese manga, Japanese anime, Japanese chilled snacks and drinks, American comics, yaoi, yuri and hentai is sold over the counter so little kids can't see it, there's also normal vending machines in the games room, there's also various trading card packs for Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh and uhh...if any customer really wants something I'm willing to order it online for them, providing they pay half up front" she said with a smile, true customer service right there.

Brian scratched his chin. Now while the American comics, food, and card games did appeal to him he wondered what manga, Yaoi, Yuri, and Hentai are. Seeing as they were sold over the counter something told him that they weren't something he should ask shamelessly but hey, cigarettes are sold over the counter so he had no shame in asking this. "So what is Yoai, Yuuuurriii and Henntai?" Brian asked having trouble pronouncing the words.

Nina would chuckle softly at Brian's innocence, how joyful it must be "well Yaoi is a gay erotic genre, guy on guy stuff, Yuri is the same but with lesbians, and Hentai is straight, all come in a range from softcore to hardcore, the front covers tend to be a little saucy too, hence why I keep them hidden from little kids" she explained as if she was just talking about the weather.

Brian was stunned for a moment. After taking a deep breath he responded. "Alright... so all of it is porn basically." Brian was kind of shock by the lack of tact Nina had shown but for the most part was able to regain composure. "Alright, so... what kind of japanese candy do you have?" Brian asked quickly trying to change the subject. He wasn't exactly comfortable talking about porn any longer, especially in a shop where kids could walk in at any time.

Nina would nod "yeah basically" she responded, Brian then asked about the candy and she pointed to the fridge and standing shelves filled with exotic cans of soda and snacks "we've got Sea Salt Icecream, like the kind from Kingdom Hearts, we've also got lots of different flavours of Pocky, Pringles with weird flavours like seaweed and wasabi, stuff like that" she said, she would let Brian investigate the rainbow of different strange, vibrant, exotic and cute looking packaging.

Brian would look at the fridge and begin to look at the sweets. "Kingdom hearts?" he asked before picking up the seaweed pringles. He quickly opened the bag and began to munch on them dropping a $10 on the counter. He had no idea, what the other stuff tasted like but he did have a taste for seaweed. It reminded him of fried fish his mother used to make. Something he hadn't had since he was a small child. So he began to munch down on the chips like there was no tomorrow.

Nina would watch Brian, glad that he had found something he liked "would you like some green tea?" she asked him happily, creating a clone as it stepped out of her and went through the door behind Nina, heading upstairs into the kitchen.

Brian would nod at the prospect of getting some tea. He personally never drank tea before. As far as he was concerned the only tea he ever drank was iced tea. So he was quite interested in the prospect. Then he saw Nina clone herself. Brian's eyes widened and his jaw dropped at seeing the girl clone herself. How did she do that? he wondered. Was this her power? Without thinking he asked out loud. "How did you do that?"

Nina's clone would make tea for both of them as Nina chuckled "as a kitsune I'm able to create a maximum of five clones, I can also create stun orbs and fox fire, but I'm usually using my clones, although using a lot for a long time tires me out" she said calmly, her clone would come back down with a circular tray and a teapot with two cups of green tea, placing it on the counter before poofing out of existence.

"Ahhh I see." Brian said picking up his tea and taking a sip. His left eye twitched. It was bitter, a bit unexpected. He would place the cup down on the table and scan around the shop. "So how's business been going." Brian asked taking another bite of his seaweed chips. The store was pretty empty at the moment, so he wasn't exactly sure how well it was doing. He doubt that it was on the verge of closing, but since he didn't see a line going out the door it couldn't be booming either. Though it may just be he came at a bad time. Brian's head was filled with speculation.

Nina would sip her tea calmly and nodded "it's going good, rush hour is usually once the kids finish school at 3 and 4pm, then at the weekends its frequent throughout the day, sometimes kids spend all day in the game room, some of them just prefer here than home I guess" she said with a hint of sadness in her voice, imagining some of the reasons why the kids might have preferred the comic store as oppose to home.

Brian shrugged. "Well comic books stores are always a fun place to be. Spent quite a bit of time in them myself." Brian said smiling. He didn't mention that he was one of those kids when he was younger. "It's like an arcade, a fun place to relax from homework and such. Kids probably just want to get away from their nagging parents for a bit." Brian said before sipping his tea. "Want one?" he asked offering his some of his chips to Nina.
