Finding friends after 15 years (beamers, open)

Amber and their motly little crew followed Ella out of the diner to head over to the laser tag place. This was quite a weird group considering the popular cheerleader, the outsider girl, the internet famous shy guy and the shy guy who could create forcefields, sort of. Teric smiled and nodded, maybe he WILL get to practice his powers and even better, in a non-combat yet combat situation too! Teric wondered for a bit were they going to pick teams? Or was it going to be a randomization?

Teric looked at the others and figured that it'd be more fun to see them in class later, instead of using his powers right now and let them find out later... would they use their powers against him in this game? Teric confused himself and decided to ignore it for now so he can focus in the game.

Titus watches as Ella pays for the tickets. He hoped it wasn't too expensive....The boy takes the ticket, smiling back and nodding.Here was hoping it wouldn't turn out like that paintball game with Fen. Fun,but messy, though admittedly he enjoyed it. Fen was a cool guy...He looks at Teric, tilting his head at the confused look."U-uhm...you okay?"

As the group came in, Ella would walk on ahead and buy them all tickets, Amber would accept the ticket she is given and thank Ella before sitting down. Ella would explain that there are quite a few people playing today, so they may be on different teams, not that Amber minded You guys better hope you're on my team she smiled and then waited for the game to start.

Teric heard his name get called and smiled as they went into the room, thinking that it'll be easier now that he didn't have to worry about his teammates using their powers against him. Teric looked around at the room, he'd never been here to be honest, and he nearly struggled when he put on the blue vest.

When the guy would yell to get the game started, Teric immediately held his gun close to his chest and hid behind a wall, being very careful with his movements. The glow in the dark activity was nice actually, granted the darkness was cool, the glow in the dark art... despite it being glow in the dark... the art was bad... like... really bad... the only solace was that the place wasn't supposed to be an artsy place and it was glow in the dark for lazer tag.... though Teric still hated the art.

Titus smiles as he and the other beamers receive matching vests and guns, and he puts it on. Yes!! They were on the same team!This should be good fun...The guy yells to begun, and the boy goes into the room behind Teric, hiding near him and examining the art. Hmm...it wasn't the best, but it certainly added the right flavor to the event.

So they were all on the same team then? Excellent! Amber nodded when she was given the instructions and the rules, but she was only half paying attention because she really didn't care, It's not like she'd be stupid enough to do most of the hazards being warned of anyway. Then they would be given vests and a gun and would be led to the arena. As the game started, Amber discovered that she really sucked, not just in an 'only a novice' way, but she was generally terrible, some of the others had probably never played before but they were magnitudes better than her. Amber was starting to regret talking big before the game started.

Teric ran through the field, firing with a fair accuracy at the enemy. Glad he wasn't getting hit, Teric played like a covert ops agent, having fun, hiding behind walls when he heard someone coming, sending fires into the passing enemies either before they saw him or when they walked right by him.

Titus yelps, dodging and returning fire. He sighs, then hears a beeping, groaning as he realizes he's been tagged,again. Oh well...he's doing his share of points, at least..and beside, the boy was having fun!!Titus smiles,humming, and ducks behind a wall, blasting at thee other teams.

Amber saw that at the very least her team was getting points, she realized that she was probably dragging her team down and would turn around and retreat, at least if she was away from the enemy she wouldn't get points for the other team. She went back as far as she could and would camp at a corner, keeping her gun aimed in case anyone came by.

Titus ducks as he's shot at,laughing. They couldn't get him!! The boy keeps blasting from cover until the buzzer rings. After that, he steps out from cover, looking at Ella as she approaches. When she asks if he had fun, Titus nods quickly, grinning."Y-yes!!" Reddening at how loud he was, he speaks again at his usual timbre." I really enjoyed it..ashoukd we rind the others?"
