"Do you uh.. have a place to stay.. or are you just on your own?" Shady was still slightly unsure about the Halfling.. he hesitated asking and smiled again to assure he was trying to be friendly... "Like, do you have any family? or friends..."

Toji blinks, then grins,nodding." Ya! My pack has a home we stay in...Thanks, though. Its nice of you to be concerned..." He tilts his head." But wait.....do you have friends?" Toji looks at Shady, concerned.

"I have a few, i have Scruffy... and then theres Nicki... i havent seen her in awhile though. She hasnt been home in awhile.. I dont even know anymore.." He looked at his feet avoiding eye contact with the halfling..

Toji blinks, seeing how Shady was avoiding his eyes, and nods."I...see...…" Then he nods, gently knocking the other guy on the shoulder." I know!! You and I can be friends! That way, it won't be so bad!" The halfling laughs."besides, the more in my pack, the better!!"
