Lavender Town- The Journey Continues- Pokémon

As Nina entered Lavender Town, a eerie atmosphere came down upon her, she knew full well that this was the place of the famous Pokémon Graveyard. She glanced to the tower and made her way to the pokecentre to heal her pokemon after the long journey, returning her Ninetails to her pokeball temporarily before letting her out again once they were all healed.

Nina then walked out and looked around "we should pay our respects to the graveyard while we're here Ahri" she spoke as her Ninetails nodded "niiiine! Taaiiils" she mewed as the two walked to the tower and entered it.

Kyte looked up as someone entered the tower. The tower had been unusually quiet today in terms of visitors, and he held Luke in his arms. Luke had a slight wound from a recent battle, and though it was nothing to worry about, Kyte was doting all over him just because of the sacred bond the both of them shared.

As the woman came into view, he blinked, smiling, though he still looked very distressed, as he saw a familiar face. "Nina...? It's good to see you..." he said, stroking Luke's head as Luke looked at Nina. "Char?"

Rebecca didn't participate in the conversation at first. She was in a further corner with the grave of a family pet. It had been years upon years since the little poochyena had passed, and she missed him of course, but she had long since recovered. She sighed when she heard speaking and looked up, noticing Nina and the Ninetales, then Kyte and his Charmander. She walked over and checked the Charmander that was being babied so heavily. She thought maybe he'd fallen or been injured but...he looked fine. "You're new to this, aren't you?" She asked him. Or at the very least the Charmander must be. Arcanine would probably eat her if she tried to baby him like this.

Nina had smiled at Kyte and walked over to him with her Ninetails close behind, Ninetails nuzzled and licked Luke in an attempt to make him feel better. Nina nodded in response to Kyte "it's good to see you too, how've you been doing?" she asked him. She then looked to Rebecca when she came into the conversation and she chuckled at her question "nah he's not new, he just loves that Charmander to pieces, they're like brothers" she explained as she put one of her hands into a pocket on her dress calmly.

He smiled towards Nina when she said it was good to see him, and stood to give her a hug. Lucifer hopped up excitedly and tackled Ninetails, enthusiastic upon seeing her. As Rebecca asked if he was new and Nina told her he just really loved Luke, he actually chuckled a bit shyly. "Well, it's a bit of both, actually...all I've done is researched and studied Pokémon. My brother did all the-" He blinked, coughing, and smiled gently, looking down. "So what brings you here, Nina?"

Rebecca nodded. "So were you training to become a professor?" She asked curiously, her hands on her hips. She suddenly realized how rude she was acting. "Oh...I'm Becca by the way. I would introduce you to my partner but unfortunately he's at the center right now. I'm starting to think he ate something he shouldn't have."

Nina chuckled softly and gave Kyte a cuddle "I'm just passing through and I came to pay my respects, what about you?" she asked him before she looked to Becca and nodded "nice to meet you Becca, I'm sorry to hear about that, I hope he feels better soon" she said.

Kyte smiled as he listened to them both. Nina was here to pay her respects to the Pokémon, and wondered what he was doing here in return. Becca introduced herself, asking if he had been researching to become a professor. He chuckled nervously. "I thought about it for a little while...but I really don't know what I want to do at this point."

He turned to Nina. "Well, I need a few Pokémon, and Ghosts are really common here...so I thought I'd get one. Preferably Gengar," he commented, turning back to Becca as she said she wanted to introduce her partner to him, but he was at the Pokémon Center for eating something.

"I see. Well, this is Lucifer, my Charmander."" As if on cue, Luke stopped playing with Nina's Ninetails and pounced onto Becca's leg, clinging to it, but being mindful of his tail.

Becca smiled and lifted the Charmander up into her arms, petting him gently on the head. "Hey there little guy!" She giggled and moved to hold him more comfortably. She was used to Pokemon of all kinds, including Charmanders. "I actually have a Charmeleon myself. But right now he's back with Professor Juniper in Unova."

Her interest was piqued at the sound of a ghost type. "I caught a Haunter in here recently but...Haunters are a piece of work Kyte. They can take jokes a little too far sometimes."

Nina smiled at the two and nodded "I might join you on that Kyte, if I may, I'll be after a Ghastly though so I can add him to my pokedex" she said calmly.

Luke relaxed almost immediately as Becca started petting him, and he smiled. Becca was telling him that she had a Charmeleon in Unova with Professor Juniper. She may have noticed that Luke was a shade of gold instead of the usual orange-red. She also told him that she had a Haunter, and warned him that Haunters went a little too far with their jokes. "Really? Are you speaking from personal experience, then?" he asked curiously. "I got Luke as an egg from my brother. We've been together ever since," he said briefly.

He looked to Nina as she mentioned she might come along with Kyte and catch a Ghastly. "I guess we're all here for some Ghost Pokémon, then."

Becca put the Charmander down and looked between the two trainers. "Honestly? Yeah. The first time I met that Haunter it tossed me into a river for the kick of it. That ruined a LOT of supplies." She sighed and shook her head. "Regardless, if you guys are looking for ghosts I'd be glad to go with you."

Nina smiled and looked to Ahri "you ready to go girl?" she asked as her Ninetails nodded happily "alright, lets get up those stairs" she said happily as she readied her Silph Scope and began walking up to the first floor.

Kyte blinked at Rebecca as she told him that the first time the Haunter played a prank on her was when it tossed her into a river for fun. Kyte shivered at the thought; how cruel. She mentioned it had ruined a lot of supplies, before saying that if they were here for some Ghost Pokémon, she would be glad to help them out.

He looked to Nina, as she was ready to go, and started walking already. "I'm coming," he said, Luke getting psyched up and cheerily following after Nina with Kyte as he followed her up the stairs, looking back to Becca. "Do you need any food? I've got a whole lot of it; I thought I'd have my Pokémon before now."

Becca shrugged and followed the two. "Nah, I'll be fine. Replacing everything was crappy, yeah, but it's all said and done. That Haunter is still with Juniper though. APPARENTLY he's super sorry about it so...I dunno." She said, adjusting her belt slightly, which had six balls strapped to it, one obviously empty seeing as her beloved Arcanine was still back at the center.
