Lavender Town- The Journey Continues- Pokémon

Nina just hummed happily as she walked with Ahri through the tower, keeping her eyes peeled for Ghastlies, Ahri at the ready and a pokeball in her hand too.

Erik looked around as he walked with Luke behind Nina and Ahri, seeing Becca following behind. "So what's with this place? I've heard rumors, but nothing really clear... Something to do with a Marowak and a Cubone?"

Becca shrugged. "Well historically there is a Marowack laid to rest in this tower, and she was killed by a criminal organization, orphaning her baby. It's sad, but apparently she haunts the place in rage. Go figure."

"Yeah that's the story I heard too, apparently she haunts the upper levels and even prevents people from going to the top sometimes" she said as she looked around, keeping her wits about her.

OOC: Thought I'd make the thread more interesting.

BIC: Kyte continued walking up the steps with them to the next level, one of the many cemeteries in Lavender Town. They concurred with his information, sharing that she haunted the place and kept people from advancing to the upper levels.

"What a sad tale..." Kyte said, frowning. Luke made a slight sound, and Kyte smiled, stroking his head to reassure him, eliciting a cheeky grin from Luke's jaw.

When they reached the next level, someone would run to them, grabbing Nina by the arms. "Help! He stole my Pokémon!" However, he looked behind him, and upon seeing another trainer, quickly sprinted past them down the stairs.


They would see a trainer with a Gengar floating behind his shoulder, in black clothing with a red "R" emblazoned across his chest. He seemed infatuated with Nina's Ninetails for a moment, but then he caught sight of Luke, Kyte's eyes widening. Even Kyte knew why he was looking at Luke now; Luke was rare.

He stepped forward. "Hand over your Pokémon...or prepare for trouble."

The man's Gengar chuckled mischievously behind him.

Becca stepped in front of the other to trainers, holding up a ball and tossing it above her. "Rockets. That's really cute." The ball opened and a Garchomp appeared next to her, the Sharks eyes opened and scanned the area. When she saw the R....she wasn't happy. She roared loudly and dug one of its bladed claws into the ground. "you have two options. Drop the Pokeball and run, or I'll beat it out of you."

Becca clearly had absolutely no love for Team Rocket, and had had at least a few run ins with them in the past.

Nina glared at the Rocket member and signalled Ahri to stay back, taking a pokeball from her belt she tossed it into the air "teach this villain a lesson Midnight!" she called out as her Mightyena appeared from the ball and howled, ready to fight and got into a fighting stance, he let out a low growl at both the Rocket and his Gengar.

Kyte frowned, putting down Luke. He didn't want to be defended like he couldn't help himself. But fighting alongside new friends? That sounded like a good idea.

Mike sneered, and whistled as he put the Pokéball into his bag, clearly not giving it to Becca anytime soon.

"You've got a Gym Badge for stupid if you think you can beat us. Go, Glaceon!" he said, reaching for another Pokéball and throwing it, letting Glaceon out. His partner ran over and tossed another Pokéball. "Go, Flaaffy!" and he let out Flaaffy. Three on three.

Kyte looked at the Pokémon with a frown. Before he could voice his concerns to Nina and Becca, Mike pointed. "Glaceon, use Blizzard!" Glaceon moved forward, blasting a whirling storm of ice at Garchomp.

Kyte's eyes widened. That was bad. "Luke, use Flamethrower!" Luke moved forward, and fired a concentrated stream of fire through the Blizzard, destroying it as it hit Glaceon, burning it.

Mike growled. "Gengar, Shadow Ball!" "Flaaffy, Discharge!"

The Gengar and Flaaffy attacked Garchomp and Luke, respectively.

It was no secret to anyone that Garchomps were extremely fast by nature. Becca's was absolutely no different. It easily snuck past she shadow ball and into the way of Flaafy's discharge, soaking it up with a superior typing, and a dark scowl on her face. "You really shouldn't mess with former champions. It's not good for your self esteem." She said, pressing her keystone. "Garchomp, beyond evolution! Mega Evolve!"

Garchomp pressed its claws into the ground as they overwhelmed her hands, becoming gigantic scythes. Her fins grew, her body adapted to its power, and it now stood even taller than before. "Garchomp use Outrage!" The gigantic dragon charged straight at all three pokemon with blistering speed, going for Glaceon above all else in the room. Could she have used Earthquake? In theory. But with a Mega Garchomp's power, earthquake may have just leveled the tower.
