A little over 4 years ago, I joined this site. I had tried many other RP sites before, and I was hoping this one would be different. I was not disappointed. To this day, I firmly believe this is the best RP site in the world, because it's the people that make the site what it is.
I have made a lot of friends here, and to me each and every one of you are Teen Titans Legacy. Any time you greet a new member or start a thread with someone, you are acting as a representative of this great community, making people feel welcome and valued. Because of all of you, I have had a great time. I will never forget the memories I have made here, or the people who made those memories special. You laughed with me when I was glad, and you cried with me when I was sad. I cannot thank you enough.
Now the time has come for a new chapter in my life. I have new battles to fight, and new mountains to climb. It is time for me to make my own legacy.
But what of my characters? Jemmy will return to the Realm of Chaos, to keep things interesting on a cosmic level. Grace will find a mentor, a man with powers similar to her own, who will teach her as they travel the world. Smith will also travel the world, spreading good wherever he goes.
I have found a music video for this occasion. I did not make this, but I think it is a fitting farewell. Enjoy.

Dar. When I joined this site, you are one of the ones who made me a firm part of this family. And just as your ice mage became a elder sibling to a goofy halfling, so to did you help guide me. Those chars of ours got into a good bit of mischeif, didn't they, lol? Three years our journey lasted, and no matter hwo much I messed up, you never lost patience. But, I suppose this is how it's gotta be. I'll miss you Dar, but please, just know I wish you and yours an enternity of happiness. And thanks for being a freind to a really weird guy! ^_^ - HB

I am saddened to see you leaving, Dar. Even as one of the site's "senior" members, you were here long before me.
How can I even make this a proper sendoff? You were (And still are) one of the site's best roleplayers. When I came here, I was still in my training wheels, so to speak. Bouncing from site to site because of an egregious tyrannical admin on a Bleach site I had spent most of my roleplaying years on. When I finally got Kyte approved, I looked for the fastest way for Kyte to be mentored, and there you were with Seth and Dar Thle Golas. Instantly Kyte had a reliable friend, and a mentor he could learn from. I confidently say Kyte would never have been that important without you and your characters.
You even helped Kyte improve in areas where I couldn't possibly fix; you gave him Rico; a sister to care for, and gave him the humanity that he needed, and amplified that when she died tragically.
I don't want to go into a whole spiel, but you will always have my admiration and respect, Dar. I wish you luck on your new journey, because as I learned from a great age, this is the end of a great chapter, but the start of something fresh and new.
"A painless lesson is one without meaning. One who does not sacrifice anything cannot achieve anything."
Hats off to ye, Dar. May fortune favor you.

Not uh...not a thread I thought I would see.
I suppose that for the sake of argument, we should give Sora a place to stay, courtesy of Smith, and just say Smith went on his way, right? ^^"
In character stuff aside Dar, we've had our ups and downs, I've fought with you and I guarantee there have been times that you and every other staff member here have wanted to rip me a complete new one, but I still like to consider you a friend to me.
I'm gonna miss you.

Dar,
at times you were my rival at others my ally and at others my mentor, but overall you have always been important to me when it comes to this roleplay site. You've been an integral piece in the cog of this machine for years and never has a decision entered my mind that did not have your point of view in consideration in it.
You are important, you are needed, and we will feel the sting of your departure. You have chosen an extremely worthy successor. You shouldered the burden of the entire weight of this places duties soley on your shoulders and have always kept to our standards and practices. Not to mention you are the top poster here besides myself, but the top poster considering I joined a year before you.
You are the most dedicated, the most deserving, active, and your posts are always riddled with quality and creativity. You are a professional and an all around MVP who's name should be mentioned with the same notability we give the founders.
Live long and prosper.

I remember when you first joined this site. Your characters almost instantly became integral to the main story lines, and Model Eleven became an integral part not only in my own character's life, but in those of every other Titan at the time. You are a fantastic writer Dar, and you've been a large piece of the very soul of this site for a long time now. You will be dearly missed my friend. I only pray that you continue to inspire and entertain as much as you have here as you move forward with your life.

Wow...I didn't see this one coming. Â
Dar you've been a big part of this site for a long time. Â I know we all have to move on with our lives eventually, but it's always hard to see the ones we've had such good times with, leave. Â To me you will always be the admin of the site who approved my fist character, helping me through it when I was brand new not only to this site but to the idea of role-playing itself. Â The site really isn't going to be the same without you and your characters. Â Samantha will do her best to replace Shivering Jemmy as, 'That creepy a** little girl', but I'm going to miss that little bundle of chaos as much as I'll miss you.
Take care, Dar; and stay awesome. Â
....Wait. Â Â GERSH DERNIT! Â Now who's Annie gunna live with!?
It's been fun coming back for a while to hang out with you guys. We've had some good times.
But life happens, and I must depart once more. This time, I believe it will be for good.
I apologize about the abrupt nature of this departure. Many variables in life have collided at exactly the same moment.
Thank you for all the good memories. I will carry them with me always.

Dar.....Bud, I really, truly hope you come back. But. I understand. Life is life. Either way, I hope you find happiness, and I'm glad to have met you. I was overjoyed when you came back. I was laughing and grinning....Here's praying you feel that same sensation a lot.( hugs tight.) You're .someone who's been there for me, just like the rest of this site. I act like a goofball, I joke and play, but...I have stuff weighing me down. But, this site takes thus away, and you're part of it. You've been here before me, you guided me...I'll miss you. Good luck, and much happiness.

I honestly don't know how to start...well, from what I remember, we joined around the same time, but you were ahead of me. You were ahead of me in time as well as skill, but that did not mean you would leave me- or anyone else -behind in the dust. You were always there to provide wisdom and advice, whether it was in writing or for anything else. Since I've been here, you've been a huge influence on my writing. Besides being like a mentor to me and many others, you also drove us to challenge ourselves. And in doing so, we improved, thanks to you. You're a giant among Kings, Dar, and I want to thank you for helping me catch up to your stride over these past years.
