NOT THE DONUTS!!!! (Dar, ask if you want to join)

A wonderful peaceful day at the Doughnut shop, or Donuts R Us as it is called. The sun was shining and the people were happy. People sat at tables with their families and ate donuts, there was even an awkward date going on. Everything was peaceful, at least, until the men covering their faces with balaclavas came in with guns, they fired into the air and people panicked and crouched away from them, trying to stay out of the robbers way.

The robbers laughed and pointed their guns at the guy at the counter. Behind the crowd of robbers a really fat man walked over, picking his nose at the same time as munching on some chicken, swallowing the bone just as easily as the meat. He wore a gangster outfit that is much too small for him and is unbuttoned, upon closer inspection one would notice that is because all the buttons were missing, as if they had popped off.

He leered at the man behind the counter Calm down, calm down. I won't hurt you, IF you give me all your money, a million dollars worth of donuts aaaaaaaaaaaand... any sexy female employees you have. The man just stared in fear and the fat man pulled out his gun DO IT NOW OR DIE!!!!

Dar, the Ghost, sat in the corner table. He was wearing his blue cloak, even though it was getting warmer outside with every passing day. He was enjoying a glass of juice and a doughnut when some armed men came in and started demanding money, donuts, and women. Who did they think they were, pirates?

A fat man, the supposed leader of the motley crew, pulled out a gun and started yelling at the cashier. Dar stood up. He lived for moments like this, not to stop crime of save lives, but to find an excuse to kill. He pulled his claymore, a new, normal sized one, out from behind the table. Baring steel, Dar activated his empowering rage.

"You think you are powerful because you have guns? I will show you true power. This shall be the last day you draw breath." Dar waited for the thieves to attack either him or someone else. According to his code of honor, he would not enter combat without provocation. Once the criminals did make their move, though, Dar would show them no mercy.

The very fat man and his robbers turned to the guy with the huge sword You think you are powerful just because you're a suicidal punk!?! with that rhetorical question he patted his belly, this was the sign for the robbers to fire at Dar.

While they fought Dar he turned back to the cashier Where is my money!?! And my Donuts!?! And my B*tches! he pointed his gun at the cashier and squeezed the trigger, but his aim was brought off by a strong gust of wind hitting his hand. He looked behind him and saw a smug looking teenager in a hoody and a mask covering his face, his leg was raised in the air as if he had done a kick. But how could a kick that didn't even hit knock his aim off?

A robber pointed his gun at the boy but with one smooth movement he raised his leg above his head and then down on the robbers head, knocking the robber out. The fat man aimed his gun at the boy but it was knocked out of his hand with a kick so fast that he didn't even see it, he just saw his gun dissapear. He looked at the boy in surprise and took a step back, then boy crouched down as if preparing to jump and then they boy wasn't there and then there was a foot in his face that sent him flying.

The robber must have been new to town. He didn't yet realize that nobody in Jump City was suicidal. Nobody in Jump City was normal, either. This was a dangerous city, and dangerous people lived in it. Dar was actually surprised that somebody else, the clerk perhaps, hadn't already disarmed the leader of the thugs.

The leader gave a signal, and his minions started shooting at Dar. Dar allowed the bullets to hit him. They bounced off, falling to the floor as crushed capsules of metal, leaving Dar unharmed. Dar needed to deal with the thugs, and he wouldn't be able to get to the leader in time to save the clerk's life.

Fortunately, a newcomer appeared to knock the leader's gun out of his hand with...the wind? From a kick? Dar didn't have time to think about it. He had seen similar feats done by Zarakc, his one-time ally. As the air-kicking hero kicked the leader in the face, Dar decided to take out the rest of the gang.

There were several children in the store. Dar looked at them directly and seriously. "Children, close your eyes." They were quick to obey. A second later, Dar's claymore beheaded the nearest robber. The remaining opponents were not sure who to go after, Dar or the newcomer. Two of them reloaded their guns and aimed at Dar, trying to shoot him in the face. Their tactic was slightly more efficient, stinging Dar and causing him to flinch. Dar moved like a blur, cutting both of his opponents in half before he stopped moving.

Kane had bounced off of the fat mans face when he kicked him so he landed a few feet away, he was now near some minions so he span and lashed out his legs, taking out all the bad guys within range. He looked back to the unconscious form of the leader just to see that he wasn't knocked out, in fact, his fist was in Kane's face.

Kane crashed into a wall so hard he cracked it and he fell to the ground, he looked up to the fat man as he roared in rage and ran at him. He rolled out of the way and the fat man ran into the wall and ran right through it, leaving a fat man shaped hole Woah! He's crazy strong!

Dar cut down the last of the minions, only to see Kane fly across the store and slam into the wall. Amazingly, the hero still seemed to be alive. The fat man decided to change that, and rushed at the hero like a bull. Kane managed to get out of the way, but the fat man left a hole in the wall after running right through it. Dar had to agree with Kane's assessment. "Indeed. He's a meta." Finally, some prey worth fighting. Dar opened the door and jogged outside, finding the fat man quickly recovering from his stunt.

"Vile beast," Dar said, "You will die, along with all of your kind." Raising his sword, Dar rushed towards the fat man, swinging down with 50 tons of force in an attempt to cut his enemy in half. Sure, the fat man was strong, but Dar was willing to bet he was stronger.

Kane saw the guy run outside and followed him out. He saw Dar try to cut him in half, his eyes widened and he jumped through the air at super speed, bouncing off the air as if there was a wall there occasionally, although this all happened too fast to be seen though and all that would be registered would be Kane suddenly appearing out of nowhere and kicking the fat man into the wall before he could be slashed Are you crazy!?! You could have killed him!

The fat man growled and then he beat his chest three times like a Gorilla, at first this seemed pointless but then his fat turned into pure muscle. He now had enough muscle to still weigh the same as he was when he was fat, which was alot, in terms of muscle size he looked like superman on steroids. He rushed at them even faster than before.

The grin was wiped off of Dar's face as Kane appeared suddenly to kick the fat man out of the claymore's path. Kane gave Dar a wide-eyed look, exclaiming that such an attack could kill the criminal. Dar glared back at Kane. "That was the plan."

Before Dar and Kane could continue their discussion, the fat man stood up. He seemed to be hurting from Kane's kick, but he was far from being out of the fight. Beating his own chest, he somehow turned his enormous collection of fat into pure, toned muscle. Dar was continuously amazed by the multitude of strange powers that filled Jump City.

If the fat man had been strong enough to run through a wall before, then just how strong was he now? Dar gripped his sword tighter. Sarcasm would not help anyone in this situation, so he decided to treat Kane as a respectable ally. "His power level may be too high for us to defeat without killing him. We cannot afford to hold back again."

The fat man started running towards them again. Dar rushed forward to meet him, thrusting his greatsword at the man's stomach. He was the embodiment of wrath, and he would not be intimidated by this meta-human. There was a small ounce of fear within him, though. He was afraid that he would eventually run into someone even stronger than himself. Would this fat man be that opponent?

The no longer fat man was hit in the stomach by the sword, his skin was hard enough to not be cut by the sword, but Dar's strength was superior enough that it dealt devastating blunt damage, he was sent flying and he landed with a thud. For a few seconds he was still Did... did we wi- he was cut off by a rage filled roar and a car being thrown at them.

Kane jumped into the air to avoid the car and then sprang off the air at the muscly man. The muscly man was about to intercept him with a punch but Kane jumped to the side and then at a slight angle so that he hit the muscly mans side. He hit with a rough force of about 10 tons, this didn't even do anything and the muscly man struck out, hitting Kane and sending him flying.

Muscle Man's flesh was now apparently stronger than the steel of Dar's claymore. That was a problem. Still, the thrusting attack sent the villain flying across the road. For a moment, Muscle Man was still. Dar wondered if he had actually killed him. The internal damage alone could be enough to kill an elephant.

Nope. Muscle Man stood up with an angry roar. Picking up the closest car, he threw it at Kane and Dar. Kane jumped out of the way, and seemed to double-jump to get further away. Now he was triple-jumping. His powers distracted Dar, but he managed to focus on the car before it hit him.

Of course, Dar also could have dodged the car. With his speed, he had plenty of time to avoid it, but he wouldn't risk allowing the car to tumble into the donut shop they had just come from. Instead, he caught the car. It awkwardly swung to one side, trying to carry the momentum into the store. Dar dropped his sword and dug his hands into the vehicle, managing to bring it to a full stop. He even slid it a few feet away from the door. The fuel tank didn't seem to be punctured, so he didn't have to worry about it exploding.

Picking up his sword, Dar turned to see Muscle Man's fist give Kane the gift of flight. Dar ground his teeth. His ally was probably dead after taking an attack like that.

But Dar didn't need an ally. He had rage. He glared at Muscle Man as he felt his anger rising within him. There was no reason to hold back. This enemy needed to die, and it would take everything Dar could throw at him to make that happen. Dar let loose a roar of his own.

In a blur, Dar dashed up to Muscle Man and tried to pummel him in the face with the hilt of his claymore. If successful, he would then turn his blade towards the enemy and slash him the stunned man across the chest.

The no longer fat man with muscles batted the Claymore away before it hit his face and he jumped away from the slash to the chest, he was about to close the gap between them to hit Dar but then a blurry figure struck him in the side of the head, it made him fly into the air for a second, before he hit the ground.

The blurry figure, who was obviously Kane, landed onto the ground next to the man, he started to get up and he got a kick to the chest for his troubles. Kane then kicked him in the chin to launch him into the air and jumped into the air and kicked him to launch him at his ally.

Muscle Man parried Dar's pommel attack. He was actually able to parry it. That meant his strength was at least close to Dar's. Now Dar was getting scared. Muscle Man was also fast enough to jump out of the way from Dar's blade. Dar prepared for the counter-attack, hoping to block it with the flat side of his blade. The strike never fell.

Kane came flying in from the side and kicked Muscle Man in the side of the head. This time, Kane's attack seemed to do some damage, knocking Muscle Man off his feet. Kane then went nuts, kicking Muscle Man in the chest, sending him airborne with a strike to the chin, and then flying towards Dar with another blow.

Dar wound up for a mighty attack. It was going to take teamwork to take this guy down. Dar just hoped that teamwork was going to be enough. Kane had done his share, now it was time for Dar to finish this thug. Taking a big step forward and unleashing an angry roar, Dar delivered an overhead slash at Muscle Man with all of his strength behind it. He wasn't sure where he had hit the enemy, but he knew that his elbows were really hurting now. Muscle Man was slammed into the concrete, which cracked beneath the impact.

Dar backed up a few steps. He wanted to follow up his attacks with a few strikes to his opponent's neck, just to make sure. Unfortunately, delivering such a willful attack had taken a lot of energy. Dar needed to recover a bit of his strength before he could throw another attack. It would only take a few seconds, but those were precious seconds.

Breathing hard, Dar kept his eyes on Muscle Man but spoke to Kane. "Good work. Let's hope that did it." Dar was still amazed the hero was alive. He must be tougher than he looked, and he already looked plenty tough.

Kane looked down at muscle man, they seemed to have done it, Kane walked over and poked him in the head with his foot. For a few seconds nothing seemed to happen, then muscle man opened his eyes, yelled in rage and started to get up, Kane panicked and rapidly stomped on his head until he was down for good. Kane's eyes were wide and his breathing was rapid Sorry, he scared the crap out of me.

Dar slammed his claymore on the unconscious man's face. "Don't worry about it," he said, breathing just as hard as Kane was. After a few gasps, he was able to regain his composure. "So what do we do with him now? He's too dangerous to be left alive. No prison cell could hold him. Then again, we can't seem to do enough damage to kill him by conventional means. A drowning, perhaps?"

Kale regained his own composure much later than Dar did, in fact he regained it just a second before Dar suggested to drown him, which made him lose it again. He actually fell to the floor about it What!?! Drowning? No!! he stood up and waited until he had regained his composure before speaking We can't just kill him! And besides, this is Jump freaking city! They probably have some kind of super prison for people like him! Like Arkham Asylum! Or Impel Down! Okay, that last one is fictional but still! he stood between Dar and the unconscious fat man.
