Opening Old Wounds

"Of course I hurt him! I hurt everyone!" she said with a smile filled with bloodlust and cruelty. She wasn't exaggerating, she loved hurting anyone she could get her hands on, any human anyways. Speaking of hurting humans, she had two in front of her that seemed like they would be a lot of fun. They'd, at the very least, last  much longer than the average human.

As the two of them scrambled to get up from or finish dodging her attacks, she laughed like, you guessed it,  hyper active pre-teen. Her arm slowly formed back into her usual self, shrinking from the wall it had turned into, back to a small girl's arm.

She didn't really mind as her allies were taken out. She wasn't in the same group as them. She was just an add on. This was why she was here, protecting them was just going to be a side effect of her actions. Maybe this would teach the higher ups not to send her on such missions. They were simply lucky these two metahumans has shown up before she had lost it and left the group to wander around.

"So lets try this again!" waved her arm across the battlefield, trying to throw another 5 balls of sand at each of her opponents. Unfortunately her attack was stopped cold by a kick to the shoulder, with it her arm came off. She looked blankly at the 'wound'. She then looked up at Haruhi with a smile. "Sand in your socks?" she said. Haruhi's leg would probably start feeling irritated right about then as the sand Vira placed around it started rotating quickly, grinding her clothes, and if it stayed to long, her skin away. It would be brushed off easily enough, but wouldn't simply fall off.

BUMPBUMP!

This girl was going to be annoying to fight. Her powers coupled with her infuriating cackle of a laugh would be a straight nuisance. But backing down was not an option for Dennis. And getting whooped by a schoolgirl would kill his rep.
He watched her intently as her arm reverted back to a more human form, looking for something that would help him win with no avail. He decided then his only viable option was to keep punching at her until all the sand in her little pre teen body scattered and was carried by the winds.
Dennis then sprinted towards Vira, at the same time that she was preparing her next attack. But it was stopped by a timely kick from his sister. The aliens arm flopped to the ground and Dennis could not help but smile. As he drew closer to his target, the sense of eminent victory waned when the look of horror that should have been on Vira's face was absent.
Vira's sand then began using her sand to grind at Haruhi's leg. Moving on reflex, he closed the remaining space between he and Vira and launched an assault of jabs and straights towards her head.

Haruhi gritted her teeth and a surprised look appeared on her face as her attack did nothing. Well it did knock her arm off but Vira seemed unaffected by it, if anything it just put Haruhi in a bad spot as she could feel the sand grinding on her jeans. She pulled her leg away and jumped back, and just as she did, her brother went in with a barrage of hits and punches. Haruhi looked around, she had come to the conclusion that normal physical attacks were useless against the zydon.

She smiled at Haruhi even as punches were thrown at her. She had instilled some fear in the girl. Now the boy was next. The punches made contact, but that was it. Her head caved and then all hell broke loose. Vira exploded into a cloud of abrasive and murderous sand. It was like a contained storm of acid, except instead of eating skin away, it was scarping it away, like millions of tiny razors, pricking the skin, one by one.

The storm extended to Haruhi shortly but just as it reached her Vira reformed, her leftover clothes lifting off of the ground as they filled with sand. "Ya thinkin about running away? I'll chase you, trust me!" she said, jumping towards Haruhi with a giant arm swinging down.
