Window Shopping? [open]

Mo's bobbing ceased as Alex let him know that the T was silent, going over what he was just told. "If letter is silent, why is letter there in first place?" Mo questioned curiously. It was obvious Mo was still learning grammar, hence his odd way of speaking. They finally found a clothing store, either by accident or simply by Mo spotting it and walked inside.

Alex shrugged I don't know, the word is french, do I look french to you? no matter how Mo answered, it did not matter, since they arrived at the clothes shop he decided to drop the conversation Where should we go first?

That only generated a new question. "What is French, and how does one look French?" Mo thought confused as he had a look around the store. Since he was already male, he decided he should buy some men's clothing. But Mo got distracted by some colorful women's clothing... Mo made everything 'interesting' to watch.

Alex sighed and walked over to Mo, he leaned in and whispered I know it would be unideal, since we couldn't talk if you did, but you should probably change into your female form if your going to look at women's clothing, or maybe you could just look at the male clothing

"Mo was going to- but... they're so colorful!" Mo whined feebly. He didn't want to change cause of that aforementioned fact, and Mo didn't see what the big deal was either. "Mo will look at other clothes first then," Mo conceded, browsing through the men's section. Mo wasn't planning on buying too many, other then today, there was only one other time Mo had chosen to be a male. "Mo has no idea what to get," Mo admitted after a moment of browsing.

Alex couldn't help her there, he was hopeless when it came to fashion, it was like asking a sloth advice on how to sprint, he did see a shirt that would look good on himself though, at least, he thinks it would, he didn't want to abandon Mo, but he wanted to try it on, so he went into the changing rooms.

Mo noticed Alex wander off with one of the shirts, leaving him to fend for himself while Alex tried on the new shirt. He was beginning to realize that for someone who could shapeshift, he had been 'growing' as a female for most of his life; if that made any sense at all. Mo would have to think like a man! What did Mo know about men? The same about women, not alot. Mo knew them in and out from an anatomical standpoint, but not mentally.

Humans were vastly different from his people. Mo didn't let that dissuade him, and simply looked around for something 'different' that appealed to him. He eventually found something that appealed to him, both in color and design. Mo also bought a pair of pants to go with it. Maybe Mo should spend more time as a male?

Alex checked himself out in the mirror, he liked the shirt, and it fitted well, but just in case, he should get an outside opinion, he stepped out of the changing room and presented himself to Mo, wearing a black shirt with the logo of a famous rock band on it How do I look? Do you think this is a good look?

Mo turned and had a look at the shirt Alex was trying on. It was black, not high on Mo's favorite colors but perhaps that was a boy thing? No, she had seen some girls wearing black so that wasn't it. "What this design for?" Mo asked, pointing at the band logo on the shirt.

Alex looked down at his shirt Oh, this? This is the logo for a rock band, I've never heard of them, but their logo looks pretty cool, don't you agree? the logo consisted of the bands name over a skeletal version of the rock hand.

Mo had her own idea of what cool was, namely painful. He was not a big fan of cold, but the way Alex said it made it sound like it meant something else. "A skeletral human hand is cool?" Mo questioned curiously. How strange.

Alex frowned, then he realized that, since Mo was not completely familiar with the human language, she must of thought he was referring to cool being a description of low temperatures Oh, it doesn't mean what you think, on earth we use cool as a word to describe something that we think it is good in a way, in this context cool refers to style.

"Oh. But that doesn't answer Mo's question," Mo pointed out teasingly.

Alex laughed Oh, sorry, to answer your question, yes, on earth, people like skeletons and stuff like that he realized something You didn't answer my question, does this look cool?

Mo looked at the shirt with the knowledge that people on earth liked skeletons and stuff. She still wasn't that big of a fan of the shirt, but she was too nice to directly say so. "Mo thinks it looks nice on Alex," Mo replied sincerely, she still wasn't huge on the skeleton concept, but she meant what she said.
