The Chase (Hottywire,Mal,and Kyte)

Dust was thrown into the air as the criminals turned the corner. They moved the man hole with two crow bars then climbed down the ladder. After they began to run down the long corridors of the sewer with two huge black bags on their backs. They chuckled, thinking they escaped, but little did they know that a 16 year old girl was chasing after them, right after she gets rid of the stupid man hole.
Ray placed her hands on her hips and observed the man hole. She knew she could get past it, but she also knew that being a meta in Jumpcity was not accepted and that she didn't want to draw attention to herself. She wondered what it was like to live back when it was accepted to be different and what happened to all the meta's?

She shook the thought from her head and began to push the stupid Man hole out of the way, once this thing was out of her way, she could easily catch the thieves.

Hotwire was walking down the street. Kinda bored out of his mind. It was early in the day, so nothing was open. As mentioned, pretty boring, until a blur of rainbow chased a couple of shady looking guys into the sewers.

"So much for boring." Hotwire said. He reached his hands out, and the lights from a couple of streetlights popped off and attached to his hands. They immediately lit. Illumination in the dark tunnels. He climbed down the ladder and ran after the men, approaching what appeared to be a girl.

Kuro came zipping around the corner from the telephone pole, landing in the street and retracting his cable.

They won't get far. Luckily they left the manhole open.

Kuro saw a girl trying to remove the manhole cover.

She should get somewhere safe.

She removed the cover and was soon followed by another man. They probably didn't need his help, but he immediately ran forward and dropped down into the sewers, regardless, breaking into a sprint after them.

As Ray finally moved the Man Hole, two guys already jumped in. They probably didn't know what they were getting themselves into if they were chasing these criminals. They didn't look like cops and it was hard to find anyone brave in Jumpcity anymore.
Ray shrugged and jumped down into the manhole, landing in a roll. She then sprouted her small blue wings and shot down the sewer system, easily passing the boys with enough power to knock them over (If they weren't expecting it).

Meanwhile, The criminals split up and left confusing trails for Ray to follow, she could use some help, but she didn't want to ask. She wanted to prove her self that she could catch criminals alone.

Hotwire noticed that the thugs split up. He chased after one of them. He wasn't the best at chasing people though, and found himself falling behind. Fortunately he saw something in the distance. A water valve, controlled electronically. Hotwire undid the valve, causing water to shoot the criminal into the sewer. Hotwire saw something else. An old decrepit electric winch. It looked like it could use some repairs. That's just what Hotwire gave it.

At his command the winch lifted itself into the air, dissembled, and reassembled on the wall, along with a few modifications. He placed a small device on the end of the cable. The cable shot into the water, just as the crook began to surface. The device on the end erupted into a web of mesh, ensnaring the criminal. The winch dragged him from the water and tight against the wall. Hotwire then went about fishing the loot from the water, as it had caught on a piece of metal protruding from the concrete.

Kuro saw the girl from earlier fly past them on wings, the mere force of her flying nearly throwing Kuro off course.

No, don't mind me, he thought sarcastically.

The criminals split up, the other boy going down one end. Kuro took the other. As he turned the corner, the criminal turned around to shoot at him with his automatic weapon, Kuro running to the side onto the ledge. Some bullets hit his coat before he jumped, grabbing his face with his hand, and electrocuting him to send him into eternal rest. He let the criminal drop, catching the bag, and then turned to go down the other tunnel to make sure the other one boy was alright.

Ray was following the ginger when she heard the cry of bloody murder. She quickly stopped, turn around, and shot off in full speed. In less then 4 seconds, Ray was seeing a monster/snake squeeze the life out of a criminal. She yelled at it and shot a rainbow blast at it's tail. "DON'T KILL HIM!" She screamed as she charged at the Snake with a rainbow glowing fist. She would try to ram it into the Snake's head, and if she missed, she'd send a kick to it's side (Also glowing rainbow).
