Meeting the Allies (or Opposition?)

Rain stretched in the warm air. She and Jay were roaming the district, checking for any suspicious characters. Everything seemed pretty quiet; that meant something big was about to happen. Well, in the movies that's what always went on, anyways. Even though most of life wasn't a movie at all, Rain wondered just how much these situations were like the films.

She noticed two people up on a nearby rooftop. One had a kind of creepy mask, and the other was a boy with blonde hair.

The Titans East! Rain emediatly thought.

"Hey, Jay, I've got some people you need to meet. Come on!" With that, Rain climbed onto a roof and headed in the two teens' direction.

jay sighed as she pulled her i-pod ear piece out and stuffed it in her pocket and glanced up in the direction Rain had been looking, sure enough there where two people standing there.
"May I ask who?" Jay asked looking at the people still. Her eyesight was keen and she saw one was wearing a mask and that didn't strike her as a person you wanted to go meet in the night time while patroling.
Jay noticed Rain was going right ahead and climbing buildings and sighed to herself and spread her wings and flew up and into the air and waited for Rain to get to the people before landing.

Rain leaped across the gaps between the buildings, stopping when she was on the same building, but the opposite side. She cocked her head at the two, then looked up at Jay, signalling for her to come down.

Jay flew down her eyes still not leaving the person with the mask, the thing gave her the creeps. She landed lightly on the roof behind Rain, then folded her wings around her shoulders. She walked up right beside Rain forcing herself to take her eyes off the masked person and look at Rain and give her a solid, I have a bad feeling look.

Rain smiled as assuringly as she could in hopes that it would calm Jay down a bit, then turned to the TE teens. She wasn't sure if they even knew who she was, but she surely knew who they were. Well, she wasn't so sure about their names, but Rain knew what they could do, and what they were apart of. Did that count as knowing who someone was? Maybe... probably not.

"Hello."

Her greeting sounded loud enough to be a blood curdling scream in the silent night.

Well, that makes one of us! She smiled. Then nodded at the two, noting what seemed as slight confusion coming as small waves of energy off of Cheshire.

"I never did get your name, by the way," Rain grinned. She looked at Jay. "These two are from the Titans East."

Rain looked at them, kind of confused herself at Cheshire's rudeness towards her.

"We're patroling as well. We could join up?"

Jay cocked her head in the usually avian fashion. "What are you talking bout?" Jay asked. She didn't understand what could have set her off like this. But this was her friends she was talking about. "I don't know what got your mask kinked, but you can leave us out of your hissy spit."

"Ah! that explains it all. Zack." Jay realized,"He kinda has a screw loose and is a special case of nut job." Jay explained. She shook her head, "he's been following the rules we give him though. May I ask what you guys did to persuade him to open fire?" Jay crossed her arms in front of her and raised an eyebrow. She really wasn't impressed with the masked persons act. She had seen plenty of street bullies, and a lot of the time they had been all talk, no fight. And even if this person was a fighter, she could fight back.
