The Monster Mash (Open)

Subject: The Monster Mash (Open) Mon Apr 29, 2013 2:21 pm

After a rather long period of stay in Steel City. Arachnikid had decided to seek out pastures new, the ol' industrial look of Steel City can only remain interesting for so long. With it's limited amount of events, or ways to keep entertained. It was only a matter of time before Arachnikid found himself with nothing to do. Hence, why we find the Spider Hero in Jump City. It wasn't a pleasant day at all, upsetting, but the place sure looked tranquil in the rain. Rain clouds filled the sky overhead, and everyone moved twice as fast as they darted between shelter; rushing about their business.

Arachnikid at this current moment in time, was sat above a roof; sat on the edge at one end of town; simply admiring the place. It was like he had just been introduced to colour or something. But the sound of crows flying off, followed by many screams and a large roar certainly caught his attention. Looking in the direction he had heard the sounds, people were seen fleeing the cemetery; not good. Stepping back from the ledge, AK shot a line of webbing from each hand that clinged onto the ledge. Backing up, pressure began to build before AK would launch himself from his web like catapult towards the cemetery; take that public transport.

AK arrived with a thud, hitting the muddy floor and rolling across it. Groggy, he scratched his head as he got up; there was nothing around. But from behind he was suddenly grabbed by a large hand that squeezed him tight, like a bug. Arachnikid soon realised whom he was dealing with; Solomon Grundy. "That's just... great...". AK would say, trying with both hands to pry Grundy off of him; a big task indeed. "Grundy smash lil' bug"

A voice came from above Solomon Grundy No, Grundy won't then a muscly 17 year old made of steel dropped from the sky and landed on Grundy's head, it would of killed a normal human, but as such it just made Grundy grunt and drop Arachnakid ...well that didn't work Grundy then grabbed Metamorphi and started squeezing Ahhhhh!

Now, the smart thing to do here would be to run off. But... Arachnikid isn't so smart, no. He had to do the right thing, and that was to stay and help the falling steel boy; new codename right there. Just to get away from Grundy, Arachnikid would make sure to roll away before getting to his feet, clear of Grundy's arm span. Then, Arachnikid shot forth a line of webbing from each hand, lines that wrapped around the left foot of Grundy. With all his strength, Arachnikid just about managed to yank Grundy off the floor, making him trip so he would let go of falling steel boy. But as Grundy was getting back to his feet, he noticed the lines of webbing and decided to give them a tug, pulling a hurdling AK towards him; to which he batted away with a backhand. Damn!

Annie was walking past the cemetery and saw the commotion "we should try and help, maybe we'll get some reward money...we can't be playing the piano for all our money can we, we only earn a few dollars a day, hardly pays for the milk right?" uttered a dark voice in her head, Annie sighing, her whole hair and clothes were completely soaked, as were her wings, she hoped they'd dry off soon as her almost bare feet ran into the scene "Mr Grundy! Please stop!" she said loudly, holding her hands out to him as she stared at him in a stopping manner, trying to show that she didn't mean to harm Grundy...not yet anyway.

Metamorphi flipped to his feet as he was let go, he saw Arachnakid being sent flying, so he became the same cloth that pillows are made of, lept up and caught Arachnakid, he saw a girl try and calm Grundy down, he tackled the girl out of the way when Grundy charged at her, all this saving people was really getting in the way of fighting Grundy, but that was the curse of a Titan.

"Whoa... calm down fella...". Arachnikid would say as he felt the result of Grundy stomping on the ground as he ran towards him like some Halloween monster. When within range, Grundy swiped with both hands to grab Arachnikid, but he ducked down. An uppercut by Arachnikid, it seemed to barely effect Grundy. In a panic, Arachnikid would try to crawl through the legs of Grundy, but Grundy caught both of Arachnikids legs with one hand, lifting him up. "Bad bug". Grundy slammed Arachnikid into the floor with some power behind it, indenting Arachnikid in the ground. "...is it over?". A dazed AK would say in a slurry of words, he wasn't with it.

Annie growled "ALRIGHT! No more Miss Nice Annie!" she said before creating dark orbs which would be strong enough to destroy a car, firing multiple ones to Grundy in a rapid fire succession "now go down you big dumb brute" she said in a darker, demonic voice.

Metamorphi managed to get right under Grundy while he was distracted and managed to give him a steel punch to the groin.

Unfortunately, punching Grundy in the groin area has little to no effect on the zombie... he's not your average Joe. Feeling the thud, Grundy looked down to grab the fist of Metamorph, seemingly going to crush the Titan's hand. But before he could do so, Arachnikid kipped up, doing so with a kick to the chest of Grundy; it knocked the big oath back stumbling, bent forward.

Annie grumbled, her powers seeming to have no effect on him as she tried her dark wave attack, sending dark waves from her arms that would cut and slash at Grundy, she was trying to be the distraction but it seemed the other two were getting his attention more.

Metamorphi learned his lesson and lept away from Grundy, he had to do something or he was going to get flattened. He picked up a handful of dirt and threw it at Grundy's eyes, he then attempted to kick Grundy in the stomach.

Grundy would get the dirt in the eyes, trying to clear his vision in a panic. But the boot connected, and he stumbled back even more, and into the dark waves from Annie which would knock the big guy down on his back.

Annie did a little happy cheer, glad that she was helping out 'enough of the celebrating we're not done yet' Annie nodded to herself and began charging a large ball of dark energy, aiming it right at Grundy.

Metamorphi crawled in Solomon Grundy's face, turned into Steel and attempted to punch him in the eye.

A groan, Grundy would swat his hand in front of his face as he looked to knock Metamorph away. Either way, Grundy was a big guy, so sat up as he looked to get back up on his feet. That's when Arachnikid sprung to action. He would shoot a line of webbing out that stuck to Grundy's chest. From there, AK would run around Grundy, tieing his upperbody up; now was the time to attack.
