The arrival (Part 2) |_Open_|

(Considering we don't have a medical bay... right now that is.)

Rebecca's room was to say the least, rather dark and lacking in color. Her bed was queen sized and tidy. Everything about her room generally spoke of cleanliness. There was no specks of dust or dirt to be found anywheres. "Set her down on the bed. Might as well put her someplace comfortable." Rebecca asked politely and despite her doubts. The girl was probably exhausted and she just needed a spot to rest. The medical bay was still undergoing some minor renovations, and the holding cell was...well it just wouldn't do to treat her like a crook now would it? "However if you don't mind, once you set her down, think you could go and get her something to drink like a glass of water when she wakes up?" She asked renegade politely. The girl was probably going to want a glass of water or something, when she did get up and about.

Rain shook her head. She held a cup.

"Not neccesary; I've got it."

She knew everyone thought putting Terra in a cell would be stupid, and to some extent it was. But Rain hadn't meant put her in it because she's a crook, she meant put her in one of the cells to work on her powers. The training grounds wasn't really sturdy enough to handle her lack of control of her powers right now. Maybe once she got used to them, though.

Her eyes fluttered open in a slow, dreamy state. She saw the world in strange swirls and mysterious blotches. Her disturbing sleep, and murmers made of lingering nightmares now parted to a sigh of relief. She smiled and stretched out.

"What a nightmare. I thought for a moment I'd wrecked half the city and..."

Instantly questions began to arise. Why was her mattress in the dingy warehouse so comfortable and warm? Why were her school shoes still on if she'd been sleeping in bed? She sat upright with a fright.

"Wait, this isn't my room."

"Shh... It's OK. You're safe now; you're not hurting anyone."

Rain wasn't sure if she should try to phase through and calm her down, or just sit there. She chose to sit there.

"Would you like some water?"

Joshua walked down the halls, his repair kit in one hand and his chainsaw blade strapped to his back. Instead of his usual armor, he wore a ragged patch worked clothing. He had worn these cloths all the time on his homeworld. He walked passed Rebecca's room and saw Rain. He stopped for a moment, turned around, and walked back to Rebecca's room.

"Who's on the bed?" He asked, plainly and rather curiously. He wanted to know because he was attacked last time he had met someone he didn't know in the Titan Tower.

"Hi, Joshua."

Rain's forhead crinkled a bit as he came in. She hadn't heard the door bell ring. Maybe Zack had let him in? That could have happened, but she wasn't quite sure.

"Um, Terra.

She walked over to him. There was no better way to find anything out than to ask. But she was polite as she could be.

"Who let you in?"

"Hmmmm, never heard of her." He said, putting his repair kit down on the ground. He looked down at Rain and smiled, seeing his friend again. His repair kit had several strange devices inside his repair kit. Some of them looked like a toy lazar gun.

"I was hired to repair the tower by a former Titan named MG." He said honestly. "I'm almost done with the electronics and the communications of the tower. After I'm done with those I'll start with the medical bay and the defense systems." He said, crossing his arms out of habit.

Rain smiled. He was fixing the tower; that's good. It really need an upgrade, and not just in the electronic setion.

"Good. An upgrade is really needed, especially in the tech section. Do you think you could put a speaker system in? That way if I need to call a team meeting I don't have to yell down the hall. We also need... Oh, well, maybe we should find time to talk about the 'big picture' of the tower. What do you think?"

Rebecca on the other hand plopped herself on the bed next to terra and sighed. "Well, you're in the titans tower. We are technically the uh, new titans." She was being quite informal about the whole situation, but then again she was never one for formalities. "I'm Rebecca, that's rain, the big guy there is Joshua and the rest of the gang is around someplace. Joshua however isn't part of the team. He's more of a... Handyman type." She said as she let her head hit the pillow on the side she was laying on before sighing again. Today was just a bit weird, but then again being a super hero was weird all on it's own.

"Mind explaining to me what the whole rock spikes of pain and death were about?" She said with a slight exasperation to her tone, as she pointed to the wound that had now closed up almost fully. It was still going to take a few minutes more but still Rebecca would have liked a good explanation, as that attack wasn't a pussy footing job. It was fully meant to cause serious harm, or kill her outright .

Rain walked over and poked Rebecca. She wasn't so happy that Rebecca, after Terra was obviously going through something, would be so unconsiderate as to bug her about her needs.

"Rebecca, she just woke up. Leave her be; when she's on her feet and feeling better, then you can ask. But until then, not another word about it."

"Terra? Who's Terra?" she gasped. "Wait, you don't think that earthquake stuff was me? No, I was just there. It must have been some other guy."

She rolled off the bed, landing on shaky feet. Her eyes assessed the situation quickly. She was surrounded by superheroes, in Titan's Tower, and her last public appearance was almost a year ago, destroying the city with Slade. They'd just guessed her name too, either from the Titan computer database, or just simple common sense. Oh and man, her head was aching. How hard had she fallen?

"Look I don't know who you are, but this is kidnapping."

Rebecca laid there for some time before speaking up, "yeah, we're kidnappers and Joshua is a space nazi from mars." Now, there was some biting sarcasm from Rebecca. It wasn't a common thing, but well she wasn't exactly in the mood to be overly nice right now. In fact, she was tired and Terra's accusations of them being kidnappers didn't sit well with her in the slightest. She yawned softly before sitting up. Her eyes were about the only thing visible in the darkness of her room; the soft omissive glow emitting from her eyes, was a bright contrast to the rest of her room. With the pale violet scalera and the darker indigo hues that made up her irises and pupils, this would have been an unsettling thing to wake up to.

Rain took a deep breath, calming herself. Rebecca was just lucky this was her room, or she would have been told to leave. Rain wished Rebecca wasn't so rude, especially because she would want to be sympathetic if the situation was reversed.

"Rebecca, you need to stop. Unless what you're going to say is polite, don't speak at all."

Terra, a girl who had encountered Raven at full power, Slade, and a dozen of Jump City's most dangerous criminals found Rebecca about average on the intimidation scale. She frowned, turned on her heels, and walked for the door. Darkness or not, she'd lived in the tower, and had little difficulty figuring out the room's geography even for its stupidly lightless ambience.

"Yeah well thanks for that."
