Finally Meeting (Amag)

"Get that thing outta' here!"

Larry barked to his partner, who now tried to swat the fox away. The sudden appearence of Nina within the veichle caused the driver to swerve a little, only just managing to keep the van on course. But now Hydra landed on the roof with a thud, again making the driver jump as he swerved into the wall of a building as the van had reached a stop. Hydra jumped down from the roof, going towards the back. She grabbed a hold of the two giant door handles, and managed to rip the door out. Inside War Machine and Gadgeteer quickly got out, holding their cuffs out for Hydra to smash with a single thump of the fist.

"Nina, we're done! Lets go!"

Hydra called out as she free'd the other two of their shackles.

"And what were you two doing anyway?"

"A little Christmas shopping is all"

"Don't worry, we didn't get you anything"

The two didn't utter a word, just a c asual, friendly nod for Nina. In the background, one of the policemen had staggered out the van, grabbing his radio to call for back up.

"Got a HIVE attack, midto-"

The radio was blasted away with a small jet burst of water, sent flying along the ground from the officers hand. Though surely, what was said, might be enough.

"We sticking around or?"

Looking back to the group of HIVE, Hydra would be surprised to see Gadgeteer and War Machine dashing off down the street, clearly not liking the thought of police 'backup'. Ah well.

"Nina?"

"The thrill, sure"

Hydra had said, running beside Nina. Police Cars could be heard off in the distance, giving chase as they closed down the distance between them. Hydra looked at a fire hydrant up ahead, and soon it bursted open with water. The water swept towards Hydra, picking her up off the ground as she grabbed Nina by the hand. Yes, surfs up, surfing away from the Police Cars in the background.

"I know this, isn't easy, but. Fancy firing a few fireballs or something?"

The fireballs worked perfectly, as the cars slid to avoid them, forcing them to come to a halt in order to refrain from endangering any citizens. This gave time for more distance to be created, as before long; Hydra, Nina and the wave they were surfing upon were out of sight.

Minutes later, and the two HIVE students could be found atop a roof downtown, high up in the sky. There were a few police patrolling now, but they had mostly given up. Hydra sat on the far ledge of the building, looking down at the streets below; kicking her legs back and forth, already bored.

"Freeing two HIVE members, and a team building exercise... not too bad"

"There is bound to be stairs down or something"

Nina seemed a little queasy there, Hydra did at first with heights. But over time, one gets used to it; facing your fears. Though a leap of faight is ill advised.

"We should probably split up for a while, lay low til the search for us is over. Was... fun"

*Smile*

"No problem, catch you at the HIVE"

Hydra would say, gesturing a wave before pushing herself off from the ledge to descend to the ground below. Returning to the Academy unseen will be fun for sure.
