Moments went by where Viktor proceeded to reach around on his back to try and get a good hold on SpiderGirl, and eventually succeeding as he gripped the head of SpiderGirl, ripping her off from the hold as he threw her across the room. As he did, Viktor headed the way he threw SpiderGirl, raising his right hand back, clenched, as he swung it at the recovering SpiderGirl.

As Spider-Girl went soaring across the room she hit the sidewall and left a rather large in dent of her body in it, before sliding to the floor on her shoulder. However, as she looked from upside down at the incoming bruiser Liz activated one of her mecha-suit's web-features...

"Web-Spray, Full-Spread!"

Then as she toppled over and began to rise to her feet she pointed both her web-shooters at the Russian and unleashed a string shot of fluid that opened wide like a spray foam and which started to coat the area in webbing. The substance being so sticky that enough of could halt a moving vehicle going 75 mph.

Viktor's feet pressed against the web on the floor, sticking to it like a fly on a web, although after a short moment of realization Viktor began to rip at the web, he seemed to be kept at bay. But then, gunfire was once again the sound that filled the diner, the sound of a 9mm, which Nikoli had slowly but carefully hovered over the ongoing battle between his brother and SpiderGirl, waiting, just for the precise moment of when to engage in battle, as Nikoli's kinetic hold on the gun was enough to hold it firm, 3 shots from the clip were fired, without any trouble of the kick back on the gun. As Nikoli stood only a few feet away from the battle, whilst the men took their times stabbing through the web that clogged the guns, and wafting the air of the smoke emptied from the pellets SpiderGirl threw down. Hostages one by one had been making out through the back entrance. The sound of the 9mm only made their escape more of a hurry.

Spider-Girl back on her feet now saw that her web-spray had worked and temporarily nullified Viktor.

"Good, now to---Uh-oh! Spider-sense, but what the..."

However, before Spider-Girl could capitalize on the situation, just then a bullet struck the side of Liz's helmet, leaving a dent in the top of it and jumbling the vision in one of her lenses.

"OW!! Of course, bullets! Good thing I have a helmet made of armor to protect the ol' spidey noggin."

After which time, she blocked the second shot with her extremely quick reflexes using the armor covering her forearm and while she spoke dove forward into a one-handed cartwheel to avoid the other. Then without even landing on her feet first, from then on one hand she pushed herself into the air and performed a front flip, but before she did the tuck for the maneuver to land on her feet she shot a few web-bullets at Nikoli in mid air. Except, they may have been off due to her temporary loss of vision.

Wow, women can speak fast, she got that sentence out in time to dodge the second and third bullet shot from Nikoli. But Nikoli was then threw to the side, as one of the web bullet made contact with his chest, luckily stood on the table edge, the web was only enough to knock him to the floor and probably ruin his clothes, having to get untangled from the floor with that stuff proves a tougher, even for the police. More of a flanking game at this point against SpiderGirl, the currently binded Viktor looked at the web head, as he himself pulled back out the sawed off shotgun to fire at SpiderGirl, this time aiming for the torso, seeing as the head seemed to prove that it can take a shot. But the Armour itself needed some weakness, even if it if takes Viktor to crunch it up with his bare hands like a finished can of Cola, with SpiderGirl still inside that is...

Spidey after landing looked with her one visible eye to see her shot hit Nikoli, but then from her blind side she knew something was coming thanks to her Spider-Sense. However, not being able to see, she didn't want to just jump and get hit by a stray bullet. So instead she activated her web-shield, which unfurled out of a compartment on the inside of her armored forearm like an airbag made of webbing. Instantly ducking behind it as Viktor took the shot with the shot gun. Unlike her normal webbing this stuff instantly began to harden the moment it mixed with molecules in the air giving it stopping power.

The last shot to be heard was from Viktor's shotgun, as when the smoke had finally cleared, the only sound made was clicks of the guns now being reloaded, the view becoming a little more clear now, as Viktor's men had circled SpiderGirl, with the two brother both recovering from SpiderGirl's little fun she had with the web bullets, as with a scream of rage, Viktor ripped his foot out of the web, followed by the other, as Nikoli picked himself up, cleaning off what he could of the web on his torso. With the men surrounding SpiderGirl, guns at the ready, she looked like she had nowhere to go. It didn't seem like the men even cared that if they did fire at SpiderGirl, stray bullets could possibly kill the other men, but that was a worry if that problem occurs. Instead Viktor stepped forward, regaining some form of peace within himself to speak on a moderate tone with SpiderGirl.

People like you never seem to learn the Numbers game, alot of us...one of you, you can have many-err..."gadgets". But in the end, you'll just be another body that had been in my path.

Spider-Girl noticed the people had all escaped. Good, now whatever happened could take place without her having a guilty conscience. However, being surrounded with mutliple guns being pointed at your head did not make for a good situation. Lizandra was no dummy, but no matter how she thought of this situation. Every solution came out with her being riddled with bullets and at least one or both the Solokov's living to kill another day. She could surrender, but that of course meant death. So it seemed like this would be it for her unless either a miracle happened or Liz came up with an idea out of her ass right now that could save her and take out everyone else in the restaurant in one move...Seems plausible.

"SoOo, I don't suppose we can just agree this one was a tie breaker?"

As the Mecha-spider spoke she waved her shield to each side of her body frantically. Ready to block the first incoming bullet or wave of them from either side and then do what she needed to do to survive. Although, at the moment she saw a slim chance of that happening.

A smirk from Viktor, out of both the hilarity he got from the comment, and the offense he took by it aswell. As his large boot clunked across the floor, closing nearer SpiderGirl.

With that said, Viktor threw his arm out, his right hand clasping the throat of SpiderGirl to lift her off her feet.

His attempt at humor sought laughter form his men, probably out of fear, but it wasn't a laughing matter, Viktor looked to get rid of the thorn in his side. But before he could deliver any sort of life threatening choke on SpiderGirl, a object clunked the side of his head, the piece of metal falling to the ground at his feet, Viktor looked down, as he noticed the recognizable look of a flash grenade from anywhere, Viktor exclaimed, but then the quick snap of light burst from the grenade, bringing the people in the room a dazzling bright light in their eyes. Like exiting a movie theater to broad daylight, Viktor dropped SpiderGirl as his hands immediately covered over his eyes like everyone else. And as soon as SpiderGirl was released from the grip around her throat, she wouldn't be allowed to keep her feet on the ground as she was promptly lifted again, this time around the waist, just a few inches off the ground, as the man carrying her rushed around the counter of the diner and into the back. Letting her go behind the door which he keeped cover, sweeping his hair back, why looky here, Mike Stokes, although a good question is why was he aiding SpiderGirl? A few seconds after, Viktor's orders were to fire for the door, he heard the footsteps head that way, and so, the plaster and wood was riddled with bullets cracking at the walls. But Mike couldn't leave yet, not until he knew that SpiderGirl was ok to move, the flash will probably not be praised upon once her sight returns. But it kept her body intact and that was good enough for Stokes.

Liz could see that her joke had gone over well enough, at least until she was slapped onto the floor. Even with super durability that ish hurt man! It's like one whole beating, in one quick movement. Afterwards the Russian lifted Spider-Girl into the air and she could only assume was going to be the moment he attempted to kill her. Plus, thanks to his slap to her throat, she couldn't even beg for her life if she wanted to for she was too busy gasping for air and trying to get her vocal chords to open up again. Luckily or maybe unluckily, a flash grenade or something to that effect went off in the room blinding everyone including her. Now Spidey had no vision, compared to her earlier 50/50 vision...Great.

"Huh, what's going on---WHOA hey!"

As she was brought to the back of the restaurant and the door was closed behind them. She could hear Viktor angrily yelling outside followed by the sound of bullets riddling the doorway. Meanwhile,the wall-crawler's sight was returning to her and as Liz looked up to see her savior she was honestly extremely surprised to see Mike Stokes!? The fact that he was alive and out of prison being more of a shock then him actually rescuing her for some reason.

"Ugh, I would say thanks, but then again this might be one of those I rescued you so I could finish you myself sort of things. So I reserve the right to withhold my gratitude until I know why you're here."

The sound of Spider Girls voice was rather drowned out by the sound of the gunfire and the chipping and cracking of the door and wall. As Mike looked around, and then noticed what he was lent on, one huge steel cooler, as a smile of hope spread across Stokes' face, replaced by some determination, as he fitted his arm through the opening in the back to slowly push cooler out abit, before propping his back up against the walls, his feet on the cooler as he pushed it outwards to the door, using his arm to pull the plugs from out of the cooler as scraped along the floor, eventually covering the door. He then turned to SpiderGirl, trying to re-log what she had said. But before he had a chance to speak, the door met a large clunk, as the cooler moved a few inches.

We can talk about this now and have our blood as the sauce one of your pizzas or we could get the hell out of dodge, I favor the second option...

Stokes said, raising his arm down to SpiderGirl to help her up. That's if she'd take it, time was running shorter than Stokes expected, forgetting the part about Viktor's super strength, the cooler won't stand for long as he planned. And with the sound of siren's blaring in the distance, getting louder, Stokes was rather in a hurry.

While Spider-girl had been speaking Mike had been barricading the door so that the group could not get through and then stated that now might not be a good time to talk about their past issues, which based on how the barricade was holding, but seemed to getting pounded on quite profusely Liz had to agree.

"Ok Stokes, I'll trust you for now, but if you stab me in the back, so help me! I will web you to the hull of a Boeing-47."

Getting up now after grabbing his hand to show they had a temporary alliance she looked to the ceiling and then to the hit man.

"Stand clear."

That being said, the web-slinger used one of the new features of her suit, which she had when wearing the black suit, but lost it after disposing of the symbiote. Web-lines, gotta love em. For as she shot two at the ceiling and they connected with the tapestry she began yanking down hard on the strands of webbing and eventually pulled down the top of the room revealing a good sized hole for them to escape through after the debris fell to the floor below. Afterwards she extended her hand for Stokes to come grab hold of her.

"Shall we?"

Liz actually took a bit of enjoyment in the fact that Mike would have to cling onto her, since he didn't have web-lines or super leaping ability to get him up and through the hole she had made in the ceiling.

A nice face full of plaster and cheap asbestos to breath, rather neglectful thinking of SpiderGirl, but it beats having the barrel of shotgun there instead,but Stokes was rather reluctant to have to rely on SpiderGirl for support, for all he knows, his good deed by helping her out could be return by swinging him by the Steel City Police Department, but leaving through the back exit wasn't exactly guaranteeing her safety, a grunt from Stokes, as he unleashed a few bullets into the doorway that pound by pound was opening to Sokolov and his crew, before wrapping his left arm around the waist of SpiderGirl, he could've grabbed her hand but Stokes wanted to make sure he had a secured grip if he was planning some sort of inverted bungee jump out of this place.

As Mike grabbed on, Spidey dispensed a few more smoke pellets form her wrist and threw them on the ground just as the door burst open and then zip-lined up them out through yhe hole in the ceiling just as men entered with the intention of turning them into human pin cushions with the firearms. However, once out Liz immediately shot another web line with her other wrist and swung away from the scene with Stokes on her back. Before she did anything else, she had to know what was up with these guys, what their connection was to Mike Stokes, and how everyone seemed to know where to find her. Once they were at a safe distance away from the scene Liz touched down on a different rooftop away from the galleria, but not so far that she couldn't go back if there was trouble and took off her helmet in front of Mike. There was obviosuly no longer a need to conceal herself from the hitman now that her cover was blown she could assume he knew who she was too, but overall the situation was still not satisfactory for her. With these guys knowing her identity and having all of Mike's men at their disposal they could ruin her life or use her identity to keep her from halting their future crime sprees.

"Ok, talk. Considering the Russian twins there were adamant on killing you and have now moved on to me, I'd like to know as much as I can about them before our next encounter and all leads seem to start with you."

No jokes, no quips, or snarky remarks about a close call parted her lips. A young man had just lost his life back there and that was no laughing matter to the teen heroine. Lizandra still wasn't sure where this guy was on the scale of the friend or foe meter, but he had saved her life and in return she had gotten him out of there alive. Plus relatively unseen too, so that just left the question as to why Mike Stokes was helping her instead of taking that opportunity back there to try and kill the Sokolov's and maybe Spider-Girl too or better yet use his freedom from the Impel Down to get out of Steel City and out of dodge.

Dusting the plaster and dust from his clothes, Stokes head then turned to Spider Girl, as she took her helmet off. Nice to know that it wasn't an ugly face that had ruined his plans in the past. But with her rather serious tone, it looked like a different Spider Girl to him. Wheres the witty remarks? Better yet, wheres the thanks? There wasn't one...so Mike needs to improvise.

Mike said, shrugging his shoulders after, then deciding to take a seat on the floor of the rooftop. A brief moment of silence before Stokes could go over the notes he made in his head.

Viktor and Nikoli Sokolov are two very well known men in Russia, Viktor being the head of one of the biggest crime families there, his brother following closely behind. They are looking to...expand over here, starting with Steel City. Why Steel City? I don't know. But you pissed them off, and they managed to find you out for it. You may think I'm the one in danger, escaping Impel Down and staying in the same place as the guys who tried to kill me, but you're on the exact same wavelength, if not higher. Family, friends, anything you have is of interest to them.
